Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to The First

2018年第8期英语教师一、教学内容本堂课教学内容是人教版新目标初中《英语》（九年级）Unit9I like music that I can dance to The First Period Section A（1a—2c）。

本单元以定语从句为主要学习内容，涉及的话题是不同类型的音乐，旨在培养学生高尚的思想情操；以学生感兴趣的流行音乐为引子，让每个学生都有话说，以达到对语言的实用性体验。

同时，本单元也是对学生在八年级学习音乐话题之后的一种延伸，引导学生热爱生活、热爱音乐、热爱英语。

二、学情分析学生在八年级第二学期学过相关的内容，对于不同类型音乐的名称、不同类型的音乐都有一定的了解，已经具备了基本的英语学习素质，也掌握了一些语言素材。

加之这个年龄段的学生对于音乐的热爱达到了一个高峰，很容易接受相关知识的学习。

笔者所带班级有几名擅长唱英文歌的学生，他们有自己的粉丝团队，能够对其他学生起引领作用，有助于活跃课堂气氛。

三、教学目标（一）语言知识目标1.掌握重点词汇：sing along with，dance to，smooth，have great lyrics，prefer，be fond of，be crazy about，electronic music，too noisy，musician2.掌握以下句型：What kind of music do you prefer?I prefer music that is exciting.I prefer music that is quiet and smooth.I prefer music that has great lyrics.I prefer music that I can sing along with.（二）语言技能目标能听懂听力材料，掌握听的技巧；能对自己感兴趣的话题进行讨论；能够运用相关句型模拟真实场景进行班级调查；能够运用所学知识表达自己的观点。

（三）情感态度目标通过对不同类型音乐的介绍，培养学生高尚的思想情操，引导学生表达自己的喜好并说明理由，对人、事作出恰当的评价，或提出建议。

四、教学重难点基于以上教学目标，结合对教材的理解，确定本堂课的教学重难点：（一）教学重点能运用定语从句讨论自己喜欢的音乐。

六、教学过程Step1：Warming up播放周华健的歌曲《朋友》，导入本堂课的内容。

【设计说明】用《朋友》这首歌导入，能够吸引学生的注意力，使他们快速进入本单元的学习。

Step2：Presentation提出以下问题：What song is it?And whose song is it?What kind of music is it?How do you like it?Do you like it?T：I also like it.It’s smooth.But I prefer music that is exciting.I like music that is exciting better.【设计说明】教师先表达自己喜欢《朋友》这首歌，以拉近和学生的距离。

然后说自己还喜欢另一首歌，是泰勒·斯威夫特和贾斯汀·比伯的As Long As You Love Me，并播放。

以歌曲振奋的曲调吸引学生，在无形中输入prefer这个词的用法。

随后重复播放各种类型的音乐，如《甜蜜蜜》《怒放的生命》《风吹麦浪》《暖暖》和《一首舞曲》，从而引出下面的定语从句。

What kind of music do you prefer?I prefer music that is exciting.I prefer music that is quiet and smooth.I prefer music that is loud and energetic.I prefer music that has great lyrics.I prefer music that I can sing along with.I prefer music that I can dance to.【设计说明】这些定语从句从易到难，先是引导词作主语，句子结构是主系表；再是引导词作主语，句子结构是主谓宾；最后是引导词作宾语。

这有助于学生了解不同类型的定语从句，加深他们对定语从句的印象。

Step3：DrillsAsk the students in a line to express their opinions.What kind of music is he/she fond of?What kind of music is he/she crazy about?What kind of music is he/she interested in?What kind of music does he/she stick to?【设计说明】通过上面的学习，学生对于定语从句有了一定的认识，接着进行句型操练，有助于巩固所学知识。

另外，在运用时增加了难度，引导学生把prefer拓展为其他表示“喜欢”的词语。

Step4：SurveyAsk students to make a survey in groups of6.What kind of music do you like?Do you like music that...？In our class，...students like music that...【设计说明】让学生以小组为单位调查喜爱的音乐类型，再一次充分练习重点句型。

然后对6个小组的调查结果进行汇总，并以柱状图的形式呈现，教会学生分析数据。

Step5：ListeningOur friends Tony and Betty also like music. He likes singers who write interesting lyrics.I like music that ...（第三人称单数形式）I like singers who...（原形）【设计说明】通过听力材料，从喜爱不同类型的歌曲拓展到喜爱不同类型的歌手，语法上也从先行词为单数变化成复数，既提高了知识层次，又为后面给学校提建议埋下了伏笔，积累了语言素材。

Step 7：Show timeEncourage students to perform in the front of the classroom.And ask others to write the recommenda-tion to school.Dear teacher ，I ’m a student from Class 12，Grade 9.In our class ，most students like ...We think this kind of music make us...And in our class ，...can...We prefer singers who...Please allow us to perform at the New Year ’s Eve.I promise it will be so excellent.Yours ，_________【设计说明】班级里热爱音乐的学生非常多，让他们准备两种不同风格的音乐。

第一组，一男一女唱一首活泼的英文歌曲；第二组，四名女生演唱一首中文歌曲《小白船》，并以古筝和葫芦丝配乐。

然后让学生发表观点，说出自己喜欢的音乐风格，并给学校的直播平台写留言、提建议，如将自己喜欢的音乐融入学校的春节大联欢节目。

通过这种方式，让学生将本堂课所学的语言知识学以致用。

七、教学反思整体来看，本堂课各环节之间过渡自然，教学过程流畅，达到了预设的教学目标。
