Quick Start Guide: Isomet iMS StudioIsomet iMS Studio v1.30 is the first release of the Windows graphic user interface for the iMS4- series of 4 channel synthezisers. This guide gives a brief description of the iMS4 functions , how to use this GUI and concludes with a number of examples.[Note: This guide assumes individual file sizes < 1024 frequency data points. The iMS4-P is capable of storing >10 million points however the GUI will react slowly for Image files exceeding ~4000 points. Please contact Isomet for guideance on using the GUI for large image sizes ]The current release does not support the following features:- Diagnostics- Image Play Sequences- Compensation table generator(These features are supported in the SDK for C++ ).Download the appropriate installation program from: /software.html Uninstall any prevous versions of the SDK and/or GUIDepending on your computer select and run one of the followimg :Isomet iMS SDK v 1.30 Win7 32-bit Setup.exeIsomet iMS SDK v 1.30 Win7 64-bit Setup.exeIsomet iMS SDK v 1.30 Win10 32-bit Setup.exeIsomet iMS SDK v 1.30 Win10 64-bit Setup.exeFollow the installation instructions.A full explanation and supporting documentation is found underStart menu > All Programs > Isomet iMS SDKor from the installed folder : >> Program Files / Isomet / iMS_SDK / v1.30 / docRun: Isomet iMS Studio.Overview: GUI Windows and tabsOpening windowCentre window is the main input array. This behaves much like a typical spread sheet.- Copy and paste can be applied to individual cells, cell groups, entire rows or columns.- Rows can be deleted or inserted. The array is used to input the Frequency, Amplitude , Phase, and Synchronous output data. The column data is predefined and differs depending on the selected operating mode:Tone buffer(s) modeOne or more tables of 256 frequencies/amplitude/phase (F/A/P) values.∙Columns display the Frequency, Amplitude and Phase values. This is repeated for each of the 4 channels.∙Rows display the buffer entry. Up to 256 max lines per buffer.Array values can be entered directy into the GUI array or copied from an Excel spread sheet. Image files (s) modeOne or more files containing many frequencies/amplitude/phase/sync data points.∙Columns display the Frequency, Amplitude and Phase values PLUS a 12bit wide digital output register and two synchronous output DACs.The F/A/P data is repeated for each of the 4 channels.∙Rows display the image point entry.Image mode is useful for generating larger more complex frequency scan patterns.Values can be entered directy into the GUI array or data copied from an Excel spread sheet .For both modes, the data in selected cells within a column can be auto filled or interpolated.1: Signal Path tabMain purpose this tab is to set the RF power limits and enable RF power amplifer(s) that are connectedto the control outputs of the iMS4 (connector J5 or J6)Overview: Output Power control1.1: The 10-bit Amplitude values specified for each frequency point in the Image File or Tone Buffer. This value is multiplied by a Array Compensation factor stored in acalibration look up table (LUT).The LUT can be bypassed if required. The LUT is applied by default.1.2: DDS Power Level.8-bit non-volatile digital pot.GUI slider control is providedin the Signal Path tab1.3: Amplitude Control Source for the output RF mixers.Selection and slider optionsare provided under theSignal Path tabA typical selection is Wiper 1,which is a 8-bit non-volatiledigital pot with GUI slider controlThe optimum slider settings will depend on the connected RF power amplifier and AO device. Recommended values will be provided on the AO test data sheet supplied with the iMS4- Sliders values will increment/decrement in steps of 0.1 by using the up-down arrow keysSignal Path tab cont’dIn a typical system, the iMS4- will be the frequency source to a power amplifer(s). This in turn is connected to the AO modulator, frequency shifter , deflector or tuneble filter.Depending on the amplifier model, the iMS4- will provide the enable or Gate signal to the external power amplifier(s).Amplifer Enable controlsToggle Buttons, as shown Turn Green when activeExamples:2: Compensation tabA calibration or compensation look-up-table (LUT) contains frequency specific phase and amplitude data. It may be applied to Image and Tone Buffer frequency points in order to :a: to compensate for amplitude non-linearitiesb: apply a predefined phase shift between adjacent RF channels *.* For beam steered AO deflectors with multiple RF inputs, a frequency dependent phase shift “steers”the acoustic column in crystal. This optimizes the Bragg angle relationship resulting in higher effiency across the scan angle. 让intel老主板添加新分辨率的方法(英文)例在82845、82852等系列支..

Make 1680x1050 and 1440x900 resolution available on Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME ChipsetPrehistoryA couple of days ago I purchased a shiny new SyncMaster 226cw monitor to replace broken display on my friend’s laptop (which he kindly lent me, so I could work at home sometimes). After installing fresh MS Windows copy using the 226cw connected through VGA (CRT) port (actually it was only way I found to set output to external monitor as default option for normally staring Windows), I was realized what there is no way to set native 1680x1050 resolution for 226cw even after latest SyncMaster drivers were installed. And here the quest began...There was no problem to figure out what the trouble is in the graphical chipset which is Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME. But it was unclear how to overcome this and is it possible at all. Intel has this problem solved only in more new chipsets – no straight way to fix. Fortunately I found this discussion and this article. And by the way the problem was almost solved, but almost only. There was still one unknown artifact, so called Modeline or DTD from 226cw. At last I found one suitable. So now I can describe how to force 852/855 chipset to work properly with your monitor's native resolution.Getting things doneFirst of all go to the Intel Download Center, type IEGD into the search window, choose the chipset you have (852/855 in my case):and then OS System. Your download is in “for Developers” section:Install it using defaults, run iegd-ced.exe. Press New DTD. Now you supposed to enter specific technical parameters of the monitor you a going to use. Here I provide you with DTD for 1680x1050 and 1440x900 resolutions for 226cw. If you have another LCD you obviously need another data. You can google it using your monitor's model name and "Modeline" word. Modeline gives the same parameters in different format. The common Modeline looks like this: Modeline"**************"106.471440152016721904900901904932-HSync +Vsync. This one for resolution 1440x900 at 60 Hz. I guess you are really don't care what does other numbers mean, so I just show you how transfer Modeline values to DTD:Then you have DTD parameters, you are ready to fill the New DTD form in IEGD. Here is filled DTD for 1680x1050 on 226cw:and 1440x900 on 226cw:DTDs are prepared, you a ready to proceed with "New Configuration" now. Enter the Configuration File Name and select your Platform Chipset, disable the Display Detection. Select appropriate Display Confi guration Mode. If you are going to use the external monitor as secondary one, your option is Dual Independent Head. The Port Order in this case is LVDS (1st, corresponds to laptop's display) and CRT (2nd, it is for external monitor connected through VGA port). In case you connect monitor using DVI, then instead of CRT take one DVO, not sure which one, you are free to experiment). Anyway if you are to use two monitors, the main one should have its port at the first line in Port Order. I was forced to use the same CRT as main and only monitor in my system, so my configurations were:Click next. Check both "Use user-defined DTDs" boxes, type Readable Port Name (the nameitself has no matter), for each monitor select both DTDs, DVO Device and mark Native DTD Flag.Proceed with New Package:Generate Installation:The further process is clear with no comments:You may have more than one display adapter listed, update all (obviously two) Intel chipset display adapters as shown below:After restart go to Display Properties (through right click on desktop, then Properties) and set external screen resolution to its native:PostscriptI am not pretending to be the first person who has found this solution a nd described it. I just want to make it easier for ordinary user to understand, because I know how frustrating it is when your new monitor is able to show only blur text and stretched images...As a conclusion and just for fun, my properly working spectrum-like system:下面是赠送的励志的100句经典话,需要的朋友可以学习下,不需要的朋友可以下载后编辑删除!!

In the modern era, computers have become an integral part of our daily lives, whether for work, education, or entertainment. Choosing the right computer can be a daunting task due to the vast array of options available in the market. Here are some recommendations to consider when purchasing a computer:1. Purpose: Determine the primary use of the computer. For basic tasks like web browsing and word processing, a simple laptop or desktop will suffice. For gaming or graphic design, a more powerful machine with a dedicated graphics card is necessary.2. Operating System: Decide on an operating system. Windowsis widely used for its compatibility with various software, while macOS is known for its user-friendly interface and seamless integration with other Apple devices.3. Processor: The processor is the brain of the computer. For everyday use, an Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 should be adequate. For more demanding tasks, consider an Intel Core i5, i7, or i9, or AMD Ryzen 5, 7, or 9.4. Memory (RAM): More RAM allows for smoother multitaskingand better performance. For basic use, 4GB is the minimum, but 8GB or 16GB is recommended for more demanding applications.5. Storage: Solid-state drives (SSDs) are faster and more reliable than traditional hard drives (HDDs). If budget allows, an SSD is highly recommended. A combination of an SSD for the operating system and frequently used programs, along with an HDD for data storage, can be a cost-effective solution.6. Graphics: Integrated graphics are sufficient for basic tasks and light gaming. For serious gaming or professional graphic design, a dedicated graphics card from NVIDIA or AMD is essential.7. Display: The screen size and resolution should match your needs. A 15.6-inch screen with Full HD resolution is a popular choice for laptops, offering a good balance between portability and usability.8. Portability: If you travel frequently, a lightweight laptop with a long battery life is a must. Ultrabooks and 2-in-1 devices are designed for portability and versatility.9. Budget: Set a budget and stick to it. Remember that you often get what you pay for, so investing in a quality computer can save you money in the long run by reducing the need for repairs and replacements.10. Warranty and Support: Check the warranty and support options offered by the manufacturer. Good customer service can be invaluable if you encounter any issues with your computer. In conclusion, when selecting a computer, it's essential to consider your specific needs and budget. By taking the time to research and compare different models, you can find a computer that will serve you well and provide a satisfying user experience.。

NEW GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE FOR THE CHARGED PARTICLEBEAM PROGRAM PARMILAGeorge H. Gillespie and Barrey W. HillG. H. Gillespie Associates, Inc., P.O. Box 2961, Del Mar, CA92014, U.S.A.ABSTRACTAn advanced graphic user interface (GUI) has been developed for use with the P ARMILA program. PARMILA (Phase and Radial Motion in Ion Linear Accelerators) is a multiparticle simulation program that provides a detailed description of the evolution of the beam in a linear accelerator. W e have ported the Los Alamos Accelerator Code Group’s Cray version of PARMILA to the Macintosh and integrated it with the Shell for Particle Accelerator Related Codes (S.P.A.R.C.) GUI environment. Problem set up is accomplished graphically. The configuration of a PARMILA beamline is defined by selecting icons representing transport elements from a palette and dragging them to a window. All input parameters are set using unique Data Tables built into multiple-pane windows. Rule-of-thumb upper and lower guidance limits for each parameter are displayed to assist users in problem specification. The graphic interface is described and examples using this new approach to running PARMILA are illustrated.I. INTRODUCTIONPARMILA[1] has been the standard program used to model drift tube linacs since the program was originally developed by Swenson and coworkers in the mid 1960's at the Midwestern Universities Research Association [2]. It is also now utilized in the design of a variety of high-current beam transport lines and several related programs have been developed from the original code for application to other accelerator structures. While the program has been in widespread use for many years, the user interface has remained largely unchanged. Setting up problems is still time consuming and, with the increased complexity created by the incorporation of many advancements and improvements over the years, is often confusing as well. W e have developed a new approach to using PARMILA by integrating it with a GUI, called the Shell for Particle Accelerator Related Codes (S.P.A.R.C.), designed specifically to support particle beam simulation and analysis programs. The S.P.A.R.C. GUI provides a unique software environment customized to the needs of the accelerator community [3]. The Los Alamos Accelerator Code Group’s Cray version of PARMILA[4] has been integrated into this new software environment using an approach similar to that adopted for the integration of the TRACE 3-D program into S.P.A.R.C. [5]. The emphasis is placed upon the “front end” requirements for the GUI, concentrating on the initial problem set up, while retaining the PARMILA output in a form similar to that which users are accustomed to seeing.II. DEFINING A BEAMLINEAccelerator beamlines are defined graphically through a mouse-driven "drag and drop" user interface. Figure 1 illustrates the interface screen developed for P ARMILA. Three primary elements of the interface are shown: a Menu Bar, Palette Bar, and two Document Windows. The Menu Bar contains standard items, associated with the operating system, as well as specific menu items used to support PARMILA. Examples of these menu items are discussed below. The Document Window and Palette Bar are the primary interface components for setting up a beamline. A Document Window contains all the information associated with a particular beamline problem. Up to six Document Windows may be open simultaneously; Figure 1 illustrates two. The Palette Bar contains icons representing all of the transport components, DTL tanks, and other elements available in PARMILA, as well as icons for setting up the initial beam and for identifying the stop point of a calculation. The configuration of a PARMILA beamline is defined by selecting icons from the Palette Bar and dragging them to the Model Space Pane of a Document Window. When dropped onto the Model Space Pane, each icon "snaps" into place at the end of the beamline. Elements may also be inserted into the middle of a beamline by dragging the appropriate icon to the connection line between any two adjacent icons on the Model Space Pane. The front Document Window in Figure 1 (Document Window 1) shows a beamline consisting of a low energy beam transport (LEBT) matching section, followed by one 350 MHz DTL tank. The Document Window 1 beamline is one of several [6] being used to test and evaluate the integrated PARMILA-GUI package. Document Window 2 shows a 425 MHz DTL matching section. The (Document Window 2) beamline is from the PARMILA documentation [4] and is also being used for testing. The components of a beamline on the Model Space Pane may be rearranged using the W ork Space Pane of the Document Window. Any icon representing a transport element, or any group of icons representing a segment of the beamline, may be selected and moved to the W ork Space for temporary storage. Icons or groups of icons on the W ork Space may then be inserted into, or placed on either end of, the beamline on the Model Space. The W ork Space Pane may also be used for other purposes, such as temporarily storing alternate designs for a given beamline segment. Figure 1 shows a FODO cell on the W ork Space Pane of Document Window 1.which can be tedious to set up for a long transport line. Ourinterface provides an automated procedure for doing this.Figure 3 illustrates a special window (accessed from thePreferences menu item shown in Figure 1) used to specifythat the same Profile Plot options be applied to all elementsin a section of the beamline. The window shown in Figure3 is one of several unique input windows that can be used tospecify the output displays to be created during a run., 1-21 (1988).[2]B. Austin, T. W. Edwards, J. D.
