三．学情分析:七年级学生求知欲比较强烈，爱发表见解，而且有了一定运用语言的能力，所以教师需要抓住学生的这些生理和心理特点，按照自主学习的原则设计语言实践活动，创设学生主动学习的氛围，激发学生学习兴趣，发挥他们的创造力，本单元围绕“奇妙事情”这个话题，让学生通过体验、实践、参与、合作、交流和探究等方式，带学生进入一个神奇的世界，趣味世界博物馆，让学生大开眼界，各类图片，上至天文，下至地理，大到大象，小到蚂蚁，奇人怪事，让学生尽收眼底，既拓展了视野，又丰富了想象。
四、教学目标1．知识目标：学会一些表示动物名称的单词，学会运用动词smell, understand, believe, remember等。
能熟练运用所学句式描述、询问奇闻轶事，并对别人的描述作出反应。
2．技能目标：通过真实的语境，重点培养学生听、说及综合运用语言的能力。
3．情感目标：培养学生的参与意识、竞争意识和合作精神，激发学生对我们所处的世界的热爱和不断探索未知世界的兴趣。
