Oh my gosh! Do you guys know that in China, we have some really cool traditional holidays? Yeah, they're super awesome! Let me tell you all about them.
First up, we have the Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. It's like the biggest holiday of the year for us. We get to eat yummy food like dumplings and fish, and we even get lucky red envelopes with money inside! It's so much fun to spend time with our families and celebrate the coming of a new year.
Then, there's the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is all about the moon and eating mooncakes. Mooncakes are these delicious little pastries filled with sweet stuff like lotus seed paste or red bean paste. We also get to go outside and look at the full moon, which is super beautiful.
Another cool holiday is the Dragon Boat Festival. We get to watch these awesome races where people paddle these long, dragon-shaped boats. It's so cool to see them all splashing
around in the water. Plus, we get to eat zongzi, which are like sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. They're so yummy!
Last but not least, there's the Lantern Festival, where we light up all these beautiful lanterns and hang them up everywhere. It's so pretty at night with all the lanterns glowing. We also get to watch lion dances and eat tangyuan, which are these sweet rice balls in syrup.
So yeah, Chinese traditional holidays are the best! They're so much fun and we get to learn all about our culture and history. I can't wait for the next one to come around!
