In the era of information and technology, the Internet has played an important role in our society. With the Internet, it's easy to get the information we need, improving the efficiency of our study and work. We can't deny that it is impossible for lots of people to achieve great success in the modern society without the Internet.
However, some people think that the Internet has a bad effect on the growth of the teenagers. The teenagers are too young to resist some temptations from the Internet. Some
of them indulge themselves in the Internet and at last are lured away from the study.
In my opinion, we should pay more attention to the advantages of the Internet and make the most of it. Meanwhile, we should teach the teenagers how to use the Internet positively, and make the Internet a tool for their healthy development.

Social network websites have rapidly increased in popularity over the past few years.
Many people have registered and become members of some social network websites, such as Facebook and Twitter. These websites have become a part of their daily life.
People’s opinions vary greatly on social network sites. Supporters regard social network websites as places to share feelings and experiences with their friends. Besides, they say these websites provide various interesting games and can help people relax. However, opponents think it is difficult to protect users’ privacy on social network sites. Apart from that, they maintain that users’ chances to gain employment may be reduced as more and more employers take the images which users portray on social network sites into consideration.
As far as I’m concerned, social network sites serve as a good platform for us to make new friends and keep in touch with old ones. Still, we should be aware of the potential dangers involved. It is very necessary to adjust our privacy settings to control who has access to our personal information.

Everybody wants to get wealth. In today’s material world, making money or becoming wealthy symbolizes a person’s success and capability. Many people just make every effort, pay any price to attain greater wealth. With money, they can but nice, large apartments in nice neighborhood; with money, they can own stately luxury cars. In my opinion, people cannot do anything without money, but money is not everything. What money will bring you depends on your personal belief and goal in life. Turn off Your Cell Phone
With the development of information technology and reduced price of communication products, the mobile phone has become a necessity for most people. Obviously, it shortens the distance between people and makes our life more convenient. Thanks to the cell phone, it’s easy for us to contact or be contacted by others anytime and anywhere. We will never miss any important meetings, great deals or admirable opportunities.
However, have you noticed sometimes the cell phone also brings embarrassment to us? It’s not rare to see someone pressing the cell phone to his ear and shouting loudly in public as if there were no one else present. And I’m sure each one has had such an experience that
the cell phone ring continuously on a formal occasion. Perhaps these people have many life-and-death reasons to keep the phone working at all times, but it interrupts people around them who have to hear what they don’t care when they want to concentrate on what they’re doing.

On the losing of Traditional Culture
It is widely noted that lots of traditional culture is disappearing along with the development of technology. Many ancient architectures and traditional ways of living have been deserted. It seems that the traditional culture and craftsmanship will be replaced in this modern era.
The following reasons can account for the above phenomenon. Firstly, traditional technologies are always considered ineffective while the new sciences are always highly efficient, because modern science and technology facilitate both our daily and academic
life a lot, with which we can save much money and time. Secondly, it is costly to protect the traditional culture, especially the maintenance and repair of the historical buildings.
In my opinion, although traditional culture is an ancient heritage, it couldn't keep pace with the development of society. It is the tide of history that the traditional culture and technology will no doubt be eliminated in the end.

Low-carbon Life
Nowadays, there are a considerable number of individuals who prefer to lead a low-carbon lifestyle which find expression in the fact that more and more commuters are using public transportation system in their daily life.
Low carbon lifestyle can endow us and our society with numerous benefits. Firstly, it goes beyond doubt that low carbon lifestyle contributes a lot to the environmental protection and it is a favorable way to slow down the rate of climate change of our earth, which also means a lot to our health.
We are supposed to undertake the responsibility to lead a low-carbon lifestyle, which is of great significance. And there is a diversity of measures we can take so as to lead such an environmental-friendly life. For one thing, we are expected to minimize the use of private cars, which emit a large amount of greenhouse gases. For another, we are supposed to cultivate the public awareness of energy conservation for energy in the world today is decreasing rapidly. For instance, we can turn off electrical appliances if not necessary as well as using renewable materials. Furthermore, at our leisure, we can seek opportunities to plant more trees which can absorb carbon-dioxide.
In brief, low-carbon lifestyle is nothing but the best choice for us and only in this way can we form a harmonious relationship with t he environment.。
