Rubber is a common stationery item that we use almost every day. It is also known as an eraser in some countries. The main purpose of a rubber is to remove pencil marks from paper or other surfaces. In my opinion, rubbers are very useful because they allow us to correct our mistakes without having to start
all over again. For example, if I am writing an essay and make a spelling mistake, I can simply use a rubber to erase the mistake and correct it. Without a rubber, I would have to cross out the mistake and rewrite the correct spelling, which would make my work look messy and unprofessional.
Rubbers are also very important for students,
especially those who are learning to write. When children
are first learning to write, they often make mistakes and need to erase them. A rubber allows them to do this without damaging their work or their confidence. It is also useful for artists who want to make changes to their sketches or drawings.
