保护环境，从我做起、尊重环卫工人的劳动
尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们：
大家上午好!
今天，我演讲的题目是：《保护环境，从我做起、尊重环卫工人的劳动》。

亲爱的同学们，当你踏着晨光走进我们花园般的校园时，当你坐在干净整洁的教室里学习时，你是否想到环卫阿姨们为此的辛勤付出?
我们都渴望校园中能有郁郁葱葱的草地，都期盼在整洁干净的环境中学习、玩耍，都希望在舒适温馨的宿舍里进入梦乡。

可是却有同学不懂得珍惜这些美好的事物。

请同学们放眼校园仔细看看——饭堂餐桌上时常有同学们留下的剩饭剩菜；洗完手之后却把水龙头开着，让水白白地流失；教室洁白的墙上被印上了鞋印、球印；美丽的草坪上时常有果皮纸屑出没。

当大家安静地午休时，有人却在高声喧哗，打破本来应有的宁静。

这些现象与我们美丽、文明、和谐的校园多么不协调啊!
作为优秀的高中生，我们崇尚文明——文明的生活，文明的环境、文明的氛围。

既然如此，为何总把打扫、维护的希望寄托在别人身上呢？甚至当环卫叔叔阿姨打扫干净后，还恣意破坏，毫不羞愧？
华侨书院就是我们的家，我们将在这里迈出人生中重要的一步步。

每位同学都是校园里的一员，都是这所学校的主人，都有维护校园环境的义务和责任。

在享受这片宁静美好的乐土时，我们有责任守卫它，让它永远保持这份特有的生机和魅力。

同学们，立即行动起来吧!一片纸，我们捡起;一滴水，我们节约;一堆垃圾，我们打扫；一朵花，我们珍惜！为了我们的校园，做我们能够做的一切。

“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”。

为此我向华侨书院全体同学呼吁：创建清洁、文明的校园，需要你，需要我，需要我们大家共同的努力。

让我们积极行动起来!让我们从现在做起，从身边的小事做起，加强自我约束，相互监督，争做保护校园环境的小卫士。

让我们承诺——爱我华侨书院，让母校绿色永远蓬勃，让华侨书院成为我们学习的乐园，我们美丽的家。

Good morning, dear teachers and schoolmates:
Today, my topic is: To protect the environment and respect the sanitation workers, we must start from our own behavior.
My dear students, When you walk into our garden-like campus in the morning, When you sit down to study in the clean and tidy classroom, have you ever thought of the sanitation workers’ hard work?
We hope to have green meadows, a good environment to study and play, and a cozy dorm to sleep. But some students do not cherish these beautiful things. Much food is wasted on the canteen table; The tap water is left running after some students wash their hands; The white wall is printed with shoe imprints and ball marks; The garbage is thrown on the lawn randomly. When we have a nap, someone’s shouting breaks the peace. These phenomena do not cohere with our civilized and harmonious campus.
As a qualified senior high student, we admire civilization---That’s to say we admire civilized life, civilized environment and civilized atmosphere. Why, then, do we put the hope of cleaning and maintaining on others? Why do some have no shame after the Wanton destruction?
CIIS is our home; We’ll be here to take an important step by step in life. Each student is a member of this campus. Each student is the owner of this school. We all have the obligation and responsibility to protect the campus environment. In the quiet enjoyment of this wonderful paradise, we have the responsibility to defend it to keep its unique vigor and charm.
Students, act now! A piece of waste paper, pick it up; a drop of water, save it; a pile of rubbish, clean it; a flower; cherish it; Do what we can to protect our campus. As the old saying goes: don't miss doing any good thing no matter how insignificant it looks.
For this reason I call on all my schoolmates. Creating a clean, civilized campus needs your and our common efforts. Let’s start taking action now, start from the little things, strengthen our self-discipline and mutual supervision to be a protector of campus environment.
Let’s make a promise---Love our Alma Mater, leave it eternal green, let it be our paradise and beautiful home.
