Step 1 Lead in
Enjoy a video of"Mark Twain"to lead in today’s lesson.
Just like this: My boys and girls, would you like to enjoy a video with me? OK, here we go. //The video is over. What is it mainly about? Mary please, Mark Twain and his books. Good. Step 2 Presentation
Listen to the recording and answer two questions. Just like this: Look at the picture on the PowerPoint, our friends Betty and Tony are searching Mark Twain on the Internet. So, when was he born? Listen again and fill in the blanks.

Step 5 Summary
Ask"Everybody, who can summarize what we have learned today?". Then students make a summary and the teacher gives supplement timely.

Students are encouraged to search more information about their favorite novelist and try to write down a short introduction using the Simple Past Tense.

所以,我在授课过程中也运用了小组合作。
在巩固环节,我让学生四人一组编对话。
我觉得,课堂中的小组合作很有必要,理由如下:首先,它能够培养学生的团队精神,提高学生的合作意识。
其次,学生在交流与互动的过程中,能够更加了解同伴,增进友谊。
共同成长,共同进步。
最后,有效、合理的小组合作能够提高课堂效率,提高学生英语学习的积极性。
总之,我认为小组合作很有必要。
2、你认为板书设计有什么作用?
答:板书设计是课堂教学中不可缺少的一部分。
关于板书设计的作用,我有以下看法:
能够启发学生,帮助学生思考。
好的板书具有逻辑清晰,布局合理的特点,所以,它能够启迪思维,能够帮助学生快速回顾今天所学知识。
好的板书会突出本节课的重难点,加深学生对今天所学知识的印象,起到巩固作用,能够促进学生良好的书写习惯的形成。
好的板书具有美观、书写规范的特点,它能够给学生美的享受,让学生在潜移默化中形成良好的书写习惯。
以上是我对板书设计的作用的一些看法。
