Rizhao: A Coastal City with Stunning Scenery
Hi there! My name is Lily, and I'm going to tell you about a beautiful city in China called Rizhao. It's a place that I had the chance to visit with my family last summer, and it left me with so many amazing memories!
Rizhao is a coastal city located in Shandong Province, which is in the eastern part of China. It's right on the Yellow Sea, and it has a really long coastline that stretches for over 200 kilometers! Can you imagine how many beaches and seaside views there are?
One of the things that makes Rizhao so special is its geography. It has a unique location where the sea and the mountains meet, creating some of the most breathtaking landscapes I've ever seen. Imagine tall, rocky mountains that seem to stretch all the way into the clear blue waters of the sea!
One of my favorite places in Rizhao is Wanpingkou National Forest Park. It's a huge park that covers an area of over 100 square kilometers! There are so many amazing things to see and do there. We went hiking on the trails that wind through the mountains, and we even saw some wild monkeys playing in the trees! The views from the top of the mountains were incredible –you could see the sea stretching out as far as the eye could see.
Another place that I really loved was the Rizhao Seaside Park. It's a long, winding park that runs right along the coastline, and it's the perfect place to go for a walk or to just sit and watch the waves crash against the shore. There are also lots of fun playgrounds and amusement park rides, so it's a great spot for families with kids.
One of the most famous attractions in Rizhao is the Baoying Mountain Scenic Area. This is a huge mountain that has been carved with thousands of Buddhist statues and carvings. It's absolutely amazing to see! We spent hours exploring the different caves and temples, and I was in awe of all the intricate details and beautiful artwork.
Rizhao is also famous for its delicious seafood. Since it's a coastal city, the locals have access to some of the freshest and most amazing seafood you can imagine. We had the chance to
try all sorts of tasty dishes, like grilled fish, steamed shrimp, and even sea cucumber!
Overall, my trip to Rizhao was an unforgettable experience. It's a city that has so much to offer in terms of natural beauty, cultural attractions, and delicious food. If you ever get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it! You'll get to see some of the most stunning scenery in all of China, and you'll make memories that will last a lifetime.

Hi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you all about the amazing city of Rizhao where I live. Rizhao is a coastal city in Shandong Province in eastern China. It's known for its beautiful yellow-sand beaches and clear blue waters.
Rizhao sits right on the Yellow Sea, which is part of the Pacific Ocean. It's about 500 kilometers (310 miles) south of Beijing, the capital of China. The weather in Rizhao is great - we have warm, sunny summers and mild winters. With so many nice days, it's the perfect place to spend time outdoors!
One of my favorite things about living in Rizhao is how close we are to the beach. The city has over 60 kilometers (37 miles) of coastline with lots of sandy beaches to choose from. My friends and I love going to the beach to swim, build sandcastles, and hunt for seashells.
One really cool beach is called Wanhaidong Beach. It's known for having some of the softest and smoothest sand I've ever felt. The sand is so fine it almost feels like flour! This beach also has super clear blue-green water that looks tropical. At low tide, you can walk really far out into the shallows.
Another amazing beach isAoshan Bay Beach. This one is famous for its scenic sand dunes and grassy hills right by the water. You can rent a sled and go sledding down the dunes, which is a total blast! There are also camels you can ride along the beach.
But Rizhao is way more than just beaches. We also have some awesome parks and natural areas to explore. The Rizhao Lunan Scenic Area has these crazy red rock formations that look like a whole other planet! You can climb up into the rocks and take in incredible views of the coastline below.
Within this scenic area, there is also the Lunan Tantou Stone Forest. This is a bunch of gigantic rock pillars and towers in all sorts of weird and wonderful shapes. As you walk through the winding paths, it feels like you stumbled into a land of stone skyscrapers built by giants! So cool.
Another great outdoor spot is the Rizhao Wildlife Park. This huge park has areas recreating different natural environments in China, from dense forests to marshes to beaches. I've seen pandas, elephants, tigers, bears, and all sorts of amazing animals here. The bird watching area with bald eagles and cranes is one of my favorites.
That's just a small taste of all the awesome things Rizhao has to offer! We have so many other fun attractions too like orchards where you can pick fruit, ancient temples, parks with amusement park rides, and more.

Rizhao: A Seaside City Full of Fun and Adventure!
Hello friends! My name is Lucy and I'm going to tell you all about the amazing city of Rizhao, which is located in Shandong Province, China. Rizhao is a coastal city right next to the Yellow Sea, and it has some of the most beautiful beaches and scenery you'll ever see!
One of the best things about Rizhao is its location. It sits on a peninsula, which is a piece of land that is surrounded by water on three sides. This means you're never too far from the ocean no matter where you go in the city. The beaches stretch for miles
and miles with soft golden sand and crashing blue waves. My favorite beach is Wanpengzhou Scenic Area because it has the clearest water for swimming.
But Rizhao isn't just about beaches – it also has some incredible natural scenery inland too. There are tall green mountains, winding rivers, peaceful lakes, and lush forests all around the city. One of the coolest places is Mount Shan, which has hiking trails that lead up to the very top where you can see amazing views overlooking Rizhao.
If you visit Rizhao, you have to check out Tuan Island too. This tiny island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, and it has an entire village where friendly locals live. You can walk around the cobblestone streets, see traditional houses, and even stay overnight! I went camping there last summer and got to sleep in a tent right by the ocean.
Speaking of the ocean, Rizhao is famous for its seafood. You can find restaurants everywhere serving up the freshest fish, shrimp, crabs, and other delicious meals from the sea. The fish markets are fun to explore and see all the different kinds of marine life for sale. My favorite dish is the sweet and sour shrimp – so yummy!
For a fun place to take a walk, head over to Haiqu Boardwalk. This long path winds along the coastline and has beautiful gardens, playgrounds, and spots to rent bikes or have a picnic. At night, the boardwalk comes alive with bright lights, music, and tons of locals out enjoying the evening.
Rizhao may be a smaller city compared to places like Beijing or Shanghai, but it definitely doesn't feel small or boring here! There is always something new and exciting to discover. From museums and temples to amusement parks and water sports, this seaside city has countless attractions to keep kids like me endlessly entertained.
One of my favorite memories is going to Rizhao Ocean Park, which is a huge aquarium with sharks, sting rays, sea turtles and thousands of other underwater creatures. They even have an underwater tunnel you can walk through with the fish swimming all around you – it feels like you're in their world! The park also has rides, a petting zoo, and beautiful flower gardens.
In the summers, the beaches come alive with competitions, festivals, and other celebrations. One of the biggest is the International Beer Festival where you can sample beers from all over the world and listen to live music on the sandy shores. There
are also sandcastle contests, fireworks shows, sports tournaments, and so much more.
No matter what you like to do for fun, you'll find it in Rizhao.
I feel so lucky to have grown up in such an amazing place surrounded by natural beauty and fascinating attractions. If you ever get the chance to visit my hometown, I know you'll love it as much as I do. Just don't forget to pack your swimsuit, sunscreen, and a big appetite for delicious seafood!

The Sunny City of Rizhao
Rizhao is a beautiful coastal city in Shandong Province, China. It's called the "Sunny City" because it has more sunny days than almost anywhere else in the country! Rizhao sits right on the Yellow Sea, on a little peninsula that juts out into the water. It's surrounded by the sea on three sides.
The geography of Rizhao is really special. It's located about halfway down the Shandong Peninsula, which is kind of like a long finger sticking out into the Yellow Sea. Rizhao has a warm temperate monsoon climate, which means the summers are hot and the winters are cool but not too cold. It hardly ever snows here.
One of the coolest things about Rizhao is all the little islands just offshore. There are over 600 islands of all different sizes spread out along the coastline! Some are tiny and barely bigger than a rock. But others are big enough for people to live on them.
A few even have resort hotels and beaches.
My favorite islands are the Hua'an Islands. They are a small group of four rocky islands just a few kilometers offshore from downtown Rizhao. You can take a little boat tour out to explore them. The biggest one is Hua'an Island itself, but I also love little Dalian Island. It has an awesome lighthouse and some sea caves you can walk through when the tide is low.
In Rizhao's city center, there are lots of fun places to visit too. Tang'ao Bay is a huge, beautiful sandy beach that's perfect for swimming, building sandcastles, and just relaxing. You can also go to places like Meihuayu Park with ponds and gardens or Xinghai Park which has an aquarium.
One of my favorite attractions is Wanpingkou National Forest Park. It's a huge park with hiking trails, waterfalls, caves, and even ancient Buddhist temples hidden back in the mountains. You can see wild monkeys swinging through the trees! The scenery is just breathtaking.
Another awesome place is Rizhao Underwater World, which is this giant aquarium with underwater tunnels you can walk through. There are sharks, rays, and all kinds of cool fish swimming right over your head. They also have sea lions, seals, and dolphin shows.
For a smaller city, Rizhao has some pretty amazing museums too. The Rizhao Museum has exhibits on the city's ancient history and culture going back over 2000 years. And the Underwater Archaeology Museum actually has a real ancient shipwreck and sunken treasures you can see! How cool is that?
Rizhao is famous across China for its fresh, delicious seafood. Since it's right on the ocean, you can get super fresh fish, shrimp, crabs, and all kinds of other tasty treats straight from the boats. My favorite foods from Rizhao are jade shrimp, which are tiny green shrimp, and Rizhao-style fried oyster balls. Yum!
I feel so lucky to live in a place as special as Rizhao. With the sunny weather, beautiful beaches, fun attractions, and amazing seafood, it's hard to get bored here. If you ever get a chance to visit, you'll see why Rizhao really is the "Sunny City"!。
