Koala’s Trip
一、教学内容分析:
故事板块呈现的是Zoom和Zip一起陪伴来自澳大利亚的Koala在中国过圣诞节,体验中澳节日差异的故事。
学生除了复习与巩固第一、第二单元核心句型:what do you usually do on...? I usually... Which season do you like best? Summer.以及描述季节及活动的单词和短语以外,还可以通过图片和上下文理解新单词和句子。
如:beach,never,cheese,Merry Christmas!
二、教学目标:
(1)知识目标:学生能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容、复习与巩固有关四季的单词及句型。
(2)能力目标:学生能够在理解故事的基础上朗读并表演故事。
(3)情感态度和文化意识目标:感受中澳季节与节日文化的差异。
能够让学生了解有关全球气候差异的常识。
三、教学重难点:
(1)重点:学生能在理解故事内容的基础上扮演故事。
(2)难点:新词beach,never,cheese,Merry Christmas的发音和学生体验中澳季节和节日文化的差异。
四、教学用具:PPT、头饰、自拍杆
五、教学步骤:
1.Warm-up

(2)Sing a song 《Merry Christmas》
2.Presentation
(1)让学生猜猜Zoom和Zip的哪一位朋友要来中国过圣诞节?
Listen and say:PPT 出示机场接koala的情境图。
朋友见面打招呼后,让学生听“How does Zoom ask?”学生听音,模仿。
T:Now I am Koala ,group1 are Zoom,group2 are Zip.Let’s act it out. (2)Watch and answer
Q1:What does Koala usually do on Christmas day?
教师播放动画,学生观看后回答问题。
T:What does Koala usually do on Christmas day?
Ss:Koala usually goes to the beach and swim in the sea.
PPT出示,Zoom表示惊讶的表情,You swim in winter?
Watch and answer
Q2:Why does Koala go to the beach and swim in winter?
教师播放动画,学生观看后回答问题。
T:Why does Koala go to the beach and swim in winter?
Ss: Christmas is in summer in Australia,so Koala never has snow for Christmas.
T:Good sights.教师用南北半球图来解释中澳地属不同的半球,所以季节会相反。
再出示form让学生填表格“Season's in China and Australia ”。

T:After finish the form.Guess“Which season does Koala like best? Why?”Ss:Summer.Because I can swim......
在走出机场时,外面景色白茫茫一片。
T:What does Koala see?
Ss:White snow...在这过程中让学生看图说话,。
T:Now,Let’s listen to Koala.“A white Christmas in China!”
T:A beautiful picture,so much snow falls dowm. Let’s say “cheese”! 老师边说边拿出事先准备好的自拍杆,模拟见到下雪一幕开心的情境。
这个时候学生的热情很高涨。
全班边拍边一起说:“cheese”!
