WHY YOU W ANT TO STUDY IN USA?

To challenge myself, and meanwhile win a chance of life time. I have been very used to live in China. All of my family and friends are here. But studying in America is my dream since I was young. I like American culture and I know America has an international fame for education. I can improving myself by studying there and open my version.

I know your school provides high quality education. The Perkiomen School is located in Greater Philadelphia. Philadelphia is 49 miles to school's south；Perkiomen is convenient to some of the nation’s finest cultural and educational institutions. I will can have great education there and learn a lot of things.

•How long have you studies English?

-I have been studying English since I was 6, so it is about 10 years now.

•Have you read any English Novels?

I have read Sherlock Holmes and Robinson Crusoe, but in Chinese version.

•Have you learned any courses in English?

In my school, we have English classes. And all the other courses are in Chinese.

•Do you need financial aid for your study?

My parents offer me enough money to study in US. If you provide it, I think my academic ability can make me a competitive candidate to get financial aid.

•How much financia l aid (经济资助)do you want for your study?

The more, the better.

I hope so.

More than three years.

Myself. I am very independent since I have been living in boarding school since I was 6.

No. I don’t have any.

I like play basketball and computer. I read many books about computer. I like travelling when

it is summer vacation.

Basketball is my favorite sport. I like play with my classmates after school. It gives me a good time and keeps me fit.

•What interests do you have except your class work?

Playing basketball, reading, playing computer, go traveling and so on.

What makes you unique? / What will you bring to the school community?

Everyone is unique. And what makes me unique is my attitude towards people and things in life. I am always optimistic. I always work hard to make my dream coming true.

I will bring diligence and modest that most Chinese students have with me to the community. And I will make friends with the student there and be part of the community.

What do you want to do when you grow up? What do you want to study in college?

Well, I have made any decision about the future yet. But I am interested in computer very much. I think I will decide what I will study when I finish my high school.

Do you hold any leadership positions at school? (If yes, what are they?)

I have been the monitor in elementary school. It was a very great opportunity. I have practiced my abilities of management and communication. And I am the labor representative in junior high school. My responsibility is to organize my classmates to clean up classroom and so on.

How do you like the School you are attending now? Are there things you don’t like about your present school?

I like my school because it is a very good school in Nanning. The teachers are very patient to the students and the students are lively and interesting. The school has a long history and I can revieve good education there.

Since the school is a fine school, I can’t say there is anything I don’t like, but I hope I will have more chances to talk with the teacher about problems I have in study.

What are your favorite subjects at school?

My favorite subject is History. Because by learning the story from the past, you can be wise in making a choise in the future. I find myself always learning something when I read history books.

Do you enjoy studying?

I enjoy study because it gives me knowledge and wisdom.

What are your plans for university?

Since I have been a good student through my school life, I would like to study hard in your high school and try my best to study in a top university in the USA.
