故障诊断
Generic SAN Problem Possible Causes
1. Timeout/sluggishness ISL overloaded, insufficient BB-credits, marginal link, slow devices 2. Segmented Fabric Domain ID conflicts, zoning conflicts, incompatible switch parameters, Security Policy, Wrong product license
Yes
Use port/node configuration troubleshooting commands/tools (tip#4) Use device troubleshooting procedures (tip#3)
Run porttest
Marginal Link
Start
Issue switchshow from switch with suspected marginal link (tip #1) Insert suspected marginal interface media in same or different port (tip #2) Re-run the failing application to replicate the error (tip #3) Run porttest
If the error counters continue to rise, move cable to another port. If the problem follows the cable then suspect a faulty cable or attached media (GBIC/SFP/HBA and/or HBA driver). If the problem disappears, run porttest
– Documents the switch configuration under good conditions
– Future troubleshooting can start by comparing the current supportshow output with the baseline
supportsave Implementation
supportsave FTP parameters can be specified in-line, interactively, or by using the supportftp configuration (supportsave -c)
3. Port/Node configuration Port/node offline and/or configured in wrong topology, incompatible node parameters or device drivers
4. Missing Device Nx_Port is not registered with the name server, zoning is enabled and device is not in the zone, LUN masking is enabled and device is not properly defined, application accessing device is not configured correctly 5. Marginal Link Unhealthy device or incomplete connection to device (bad contact), intermittent transmitting/receiving signal
Does the test fail? Yes
No
Focus on Nx_Port (tip #5)
Replace with known good media (tip #4)
Does the error follow?
Yes
No
supportshow
supportshow is a script that captures groups of preselected Fabric OS and LINUX commands When executed, supportshow will gather information and display numerous Brocade Fabric OS command outputs on the terminal screen To simplify troubleshooting for the future use the supportshow output to establish a switch baseline

Port Errors
Errors depicted in a porterrshow could be since the last device reboot and/or indicate devices being plugged in/out and/or setup/configuration work that occurred. Use portstatsclear <port #> to clear all errors. If the errors rapidly rise, look for a physical media problem. Statistically, enc_out errors alone imply cables, enc_out & crc_err combo implies GBIC/SFP Use statsclear to clear all error statistics for all ports
The following output files are generated:
– RASLOG – TRACE – supportshow
Baidu Nhomakorabea
– – – – – –
Zone log RCS command log NS event log FSPF log FFDC files Core files & panic dumps
How can we solve these types of problems?
