1.0Introduction
From the data of Jelly Bean analysis of the distribution of colors for different bag weight, I analyzed the data. This report will show you the analysis.
2.0Data Analysis
From the following form of Jelly Beans distribution of colors in different bags, I can know some information. Blue Jelly Beans and red Jelly Beans’ amounts are the same in bag one.
The most widely used color in bag one is orange, which has eight Jelly Beans. The second most widely used color is green which has seven, then is the blue and red, the final is black and yellow which has both five Jelly Beans. In bag two, the amount of green and yellow Jelly Beans are both six. Blue and black are the least widely used color in bag two. Both the amount of orange and red Jelly Beans are seven, which are the most widely used color in bag two. In bag three, blue, red and green are all 12. Orange is the most which is 15. In bag four, orange is the most which is 18. The black is also the lowest which has 4. In bag five, the red has the most that has 16. The lowest is 8. The most widely used color in bag six is orange, which has 16. Overall, the black is always the lowest in each bag.
The following chart graphically shows the distribution of the colors in each bag. This graph has the same numbers in the front chart.
The following chart graphically shows the percentage of each color and indicates that the most widely used color in each of the bags in orange with the least color being used in black. Also, the second most widely used color is green and red, then the blue and the yellow.
The following table shows the average number of colors for the different bag weight. In 150 g of bags, orange has the most amounts compare to the other colors. Black has the lowest amounts compare to other colors. In 250 g of bags, orange also has the most amounts which
have 16.5. And black also has the lowest amounts which have five. In 300 g of bags, the lowest is black and the most is red and green.
The following charts graphically show this same analysis.
3.0Using Data and Charts to represent data
Advantages:
●Using data numbers can be understood more quickly.
●Using charts can provides a quick understanding of numbers.
Disadvantages:
●The graph and the charts can be more useful, so if the graph and the charts are used, the
data will be useless.
Charts type
There are different types of charts in this report, each one have its use.
●Bar charts are used to illustrate comparisons between individual items.
●Column charts are used for showing comparisons over time.
●Pie charts are used to show the proportion of size that a data series makes to a total.
