HDbaseT技术解析在如今的LCD TV、高清STB、蓝光DVD中,HDMI已经成为“事实性”的高清视频传输接口标准。
尽管HDMI相比以前的模拟或数字接口有许多优势,新的1.4版本还加上了以太网、3D等特性支持,但使用HDMI时也有许多不方便的地方,比如HDMI必须使用专用、昂贵的线缆,此外HDMI的传输距离很短,多个设备的布线也成问题。
以色列初创无晶圆半导体厂商Valens开发的HDbaseT技术将解决HDMI面临的这些困难。
据Valens亚洲区销售总监Marvin介绍,HDbaseT支持最高20Gbps的传输速率,能更好的支持未来的3D和2K×4K视频格式,传输采用普通的CAT5e/6网络线缆,连接器也采用普通的RJ45接头,而传输距离达到了100米,此外,还提供以USB、太网功能、100W的供电能力(PoC)和其他控制信号通道。
Marvin把HDbaseT与HDMI 1.4和中国最新高清接口标准DiiVA做了一番比较,如表1所示:表1 HDbaseT、HDMI 1.4和DiiVA比较由表1可以看出,HDbaseT相比HDMI提供了更多特性的优势,未来是否能替代HDMI呢?“目前并不是想替代HDMI,而是将HDbaseT作为HDMI的一个有益的补充,”Marvin 表示,“许多HDMI做不到的地方都可以由HDbaseT替代,基于HDbaseT的Media Hub 方案,直接输入HDMI信号,既可转换为HDbaseT输出,从而实现很长的传输距离。
”在年初的CES展上,Valens展示了收款发送芯片VS100TX和接收芯片VS100RX,而HDbaseT技术也得到多家消费电子大厂的支持。
LG电子在CES上展示了基于HDbaseT 技术的媒体中心(Media Hub),船井(Funai)展示了基于HDbaseT的LCD TV,Gefen 发布了一款用于延长HDMI接口传输距离的转接盒解决方案,采用的正是Valens的HDbaseT技术。

它采用普通CAT.5e/CAT.6网线作为传输线缆,提高HDMI信号传输距离和图像质量,传输距离最远可达100米,在满足所有未压缩1080p传输的同时,也支持4K×2K超高清信号的传输。
HE-10通过一根线缆不仅可以传输HDMI 信号,还能同步传输100M以太网、RS232和双向IR信号,因此广泛于指挥中心、多媒体教学等领域。

HDBaseT网线传输器HB-20的使用说明
说明:1.HDBaseT 传输器HB-20是一款集成HDBaseT 技术的传输器,发送端和接收端配套使用。
2.采用普通CAT.5e/ 6网线作为传输线缆,提高HDMI 信号传输距离和图像质量,传输距离最远可达100米,3.在满足所有未压缩1080p 及内嵌音频信号传输的同时,支持4K*2K 超高清信号的传输。
4.通过单根线缆不仅可传输HDMI 信号,还可同步传输RS232或RS485信号。
规格参数:注:1)确保网线接线顺序为B 类,即“橙白,橙,绿白,蓝,蓝白,绿,棕白,棕”;2)请在确认好设备正常连接无误后再启动信号源设备(如PC 电脑或融合器);3)当传输距离较远时请注意确保接口处的接触良好。
传输距离:1.使用CAT.5e/ 6网线控制信号传输距离。
2.使用CAT.5e/ 6网线视频信号传输距离。

在多媒体应用系统中,使用普通的HDMI电缆传输,信号质量只能保持5米以内,进行长距离传输时经常会出现图像无法显示的情况。
然而,展览、娱乐、公共场合等区域的高清设备显示往往有很长的距离,普通的HDMI电缆传输难担此任;除了布线距离,电缆本身价格昂贵和难以现场连接也是问题。

HDBaseT高清信号延长技术及应用简介(北京科思图科技有限公司技术支持部)1.HDBaseT技术背景商用设备市场的连接标准与消费级家用设备市场的连接标准并不相同。
直到现在,商用设备安装仍然在使用那些传统以家庭为核心的技术和线缆,因为符合音频/视频(A/V)连接特性的线缆标准只有那么几个。
但是,这些为消费类电子(CE)市场特别定制的标准,却在线缆传输距离、特色功能、安装性和整体灵活性方面,给商用安装集成商带来了诸多限制。
无论是在机场安装视频墙、在教室安装投影机、还是在商场安装数字标牌,线缆长度仍然是集成商面临的最大A/V挑战。
一种被称之为HDBaseT的连接新技术开始成为设备安装方的首选,因为它能解决上述主要,乃至更多难题。
由来自日韩的家电大厂LG、Samsung、Sony等公司,以及以色列的半导体公司Valens Semiconductor,组成了HDBaseT 联盟,2009年通过Intel的HDCP认证,在2010年6月底,确定了HDBaseT 1.0的正式规范;在2013年底,确定了HDBaseT 2.0的正式规范。
最新的HDBaseT 2.0标准不仅能够实现视频信号传输,还加入了对5.1声道的支持,几乎可兼容所有视频和音频信号源。
同时,具备USB 2.0的功能并将支持移动存储设备。
因而,影音设备制造厂商可以去除多标准接口的设计,从而降低产品成本。

一、什么是HDBaseTHDBaseT是高清数字显示接口,即通过一根100米/328英尺的CAT5e/6电缆,实现高清视频源和远程显示器之间的一体化连接,提供未压缩的高清4k 视频、音频、以太网、控制信号以及最高100瓦特的功率。
它是由来自日韩的家电大厂索尼、LG、Samsung以及以色列的半导体公司联盟开发的一项数据传输技术,2009年通过Intel的HDCP认证,在2010年6 月底,确定了HDBaseT L0的正式规范。

Use the screws at the top of the connector to compress the wire against the contact plate.When connecting the cables to the female captive screw connector it is important that the wires beterminated correctly.
