中考英语短文填空:动词作非谓语(一)如果提示词是动词,一般有两种情况,一是作谓语,确定其时态、语态形式;二是非谓语动词,确定其非谓语动词形式。
前面讲了作谓语的情况,今天讲讲非谓语动词的情况。
非谓语动词笼统地分有:不定式、动名词和分词。
不定式和动名词又有主动式、被动式;分词又有现在分词、过去分词。
总之,非谓语动词形式多样,变化多端,要准确确定非谓语动词的形式,首先要根据其作用及其习惯用法,确定用不定式、动名词还是分词;再根据其与逻辑主语的关系确定用主动式还是被动式、现在分词还是过去分词。
非谓语动词的作用1. 作主语不定式和动名词都能作主语,动名词作主语表示比较抽象的、一般的动作;不定式则多表示更具体的某一次的动作,尤其是将来的动作。
不定式作主语时,由于结构的需要,常用it作形式主语,而将不定式后置。
1. ________ (find) a job in China can be really simple.【答案】finding【解析】句意:在中国找工作确实很容易。
这里是作主语,应用动名词。

这里是“it is + 形容词+不定式”句型,it是形式主语,真正的主语是后面的不定式短语。

3. 对其他方面的判断。
短文填空对其他方面的判断出现的频率较低,多数文章不设此类题目。
主要是在解题时,考生了解其要点或未尽事宜,以便判断文章内容或来源,以便推测前后可能出现的内容;这就要求考生对文章有更深层次的理解。
二、解题步骤1. 阅读原文、捕捉信息、理解大意。
先通读原文,捕捉文中所提供的信息,抓住文章内容概略,理解短文的大意和理清全文脉络。
2. 审读题目、找出相关依据判断。
读懂短文内容后再审读题目,把握每个待判定句子的含义,通过寻读法在原文中找出与每个问题相关的段落与词句,然后依据短文内容对试题所给出的句子进行是非判断。
3. 重读短文,逐题复检、核查无误。
完成正误判断后必须将短文重读一遍,加深对短文的理解,在此基础上再对每一道题进行复查,对有些似是而非的句子,一定要重新认真识别。
尤其对于深层理解的句子,原文没有提供直接或间接的答案,我们应仔细斟酌,复读文章,敲定最后答案。
