They have brought us a lot of benefits but have created some serious problems as well. Such as the pollution of the environment. the pollution will make us unhealthy, so we must have a low carbon life. But it is not very easy to live a low carbon life.Firstly, we must use more bikes. Because bikes do not emission carbon. And besides, ridi ng bikes can keep us healthy. So if we use more bikes, our earth won‟t become warmer.Secondly, we must plant more trees. Because trees can absorb the carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen. We can plant ten trees one year and try our best to protect the earth.Thirdly, We should do from the little things and control the emissions of carbon-dioxide, which is to some extent produce a positive effect on the environment. We should promote the mode of decreasing the greenhouse emissions.There is an old saying that the earth is our mother. We mustn‟t damage our mother. So we must live in a low carbon life and make our mother healthier. Seeking for a low carbon life. 寻求低碳Many nations has been faced with the low-carbon life, It is nowadays becoming a heated topic. Low carbon life, I think, is really a new life style , reducing carbon emissions,especially carbon dioxide, to lessen the breach of the environment and atmosphere. The 2010 Expo is the best example of the low carbon life. All over the world are infatuated with the low carbon life seriously. As teenagers, what can we do for the Earth? How can we live such a low-carbon life?Firstly, we may drive less and use public transportation more. Someone may think, jostle his way through a crowded bus is not as comfortable and convenient as luxurious cars, but it is quite a good idea to protect the environment. If you are interested in being fit, riding a bicycle is also a great choice. Secondly, we mustn‟t waste anything, and keep a economical and simple life. For example, turn off lights before we leave; buy less food we do not need. This is also an idea to take care of our Earth. What‟s more, we can take a shower in summer instead of having a bath. A shower needs less water than a bath.It‟s not so difficult to live a low carbon life. Let‟s do something to look after our Earth, shall we? Let‟s seeking for such a lifestyle as low carbon life.How to survive during the fire 火灾中生存Many people now rive and work in very tart buildings. It is often not so easy to get away from these buildings in an emergency, resulting in great toss of lives. So how to survive in case of a fire is a problem concerning all those involved.No one knows for sure when a fire will happen, so it is extremely necessary to make preparations before a fire starts. Check the fire escape in advance and make sure that you can find it in the dark when lights have failed. Find out where the nearest fireextinguisher is and read the instructions to learn how to use it.Don…t los e your head if unfortunately a fire breaks out. First, telephone the fire department immediately when the fire just gets started. Take care not to be overcome by smoke, which containing monoxide gas, can kill you quickly. If you can not get away by yourself, it is of great importance to hang something out of the window to attract attention as a sign of asking for help.In short, if you make preparations before hand and take precautions during the fire, chances are that you will survive in case of a fire if it really breaks out some day. Global Warming 全球变暖问题Many nations are facing the problem of global warming.Global warming, I think, which is of great destroy to the environment, can make our earth hotter and hotter. So a closer attention should be paid at the issue.It is mainly caused by carbon dioxide, a heat-trapping gas or greenhouse gas.On the one hand, the main reason which makes the earth warm up is because of human activities, such as cutting down trees, driving cars and so on. On the other hand, the earth‟s atmosphere is steadily at an average 15 oC,….. during the industrial revolution, lots of factories formed, releasing more and more carbon dioxide. By means of trees can we get paper napkins and some wooden products; by means of plastic bags can we make shopping easily and conveniently. What‟s more, They are the human activities which we talk about, and thus global warming is more and more serious.As far as I know, Although the highest mountain in China is 8848 metres high, do you know the snow on the mountain has been melting? It is said that because it seldom snows in China, but I am sure that it does not hold water. The real fact is that we human beings do something harmful to the nature. Maybe it is angry and now it wants to revenge us.With rapid development, we must find some ways to solve such a serious problem. We should take some efficient actions to protect our environment. For instance, we can use bags made of cloth instead of using plastic bags. We can walk to school instead of going there by car or by bus. We should plant trees instead of cutting them down. If we did the small things by ourselves, we would not make our earth become warmer than before. We even can release some space mirrors into the Earth orbit to reflect sunlight back into the space. Scientists it is useful to paint the roads and roofs white.There is no doubt that global warming would be stopped in the near future. Development and the Environment环境与发展No doubt that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say thatdeterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself. Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people's lives are adversely affected by worsening environmental pollution?There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the seriousness of the problem.
