英语背诵比赛活动方案一、活动目的:为进一步提高我校学生的文明素质,以丰富校园文化内涵、繁荣校园文化活动、浓厚校园育人气氛,提高我校学生学习英语的积极性,特别是提高对英语口语训练的积极性使学生获得交流展示机会,又激发背诵英语的热情,培养英语听说兴趣,通过举办比赛,提高学生综合素质使学生爱背、乐背,获得情感体验,让更多的学生关注英语,重视英语学习,喜欢说英语。
二、活动地点:各班教室三、活动时间:星期二、四早读四、活动对象:七、八、九年级学生五、评委人员:全体英语组教师六、比赛有关事项:1.比赛形式:班级背诵、个人背诵(每班1名选手)。
先班级全部背诵完,再个人背诵。
2.背诵范围:指定背诵的英语短文。
3.评分标准:班级背诵满分:100分语言:20分。
发音标准清晰,正确,声音宏亮为满分,依次酌情减分。
语调:20分。
语调正确并能正确表达为满分,其他视情况减分。
流利程度:60分。
连贯、流畅、整齐为满分。
卡停,遗忘等视程度扣分。
个人背诵满分:100分语言:20分。

此项一周检查一次,安排在周一,凡未带来的同学-5分,第二天重检-3分,不存在第三天及以后的重检,若此项作业没有查词,各题解题的依据体现,一律当做抄袭或应付检查,每人次-5。

My school has these competitions every year and I've participated the last few years, so I've learned a lot about how they work.First off, recitation competitions test your skills at memorizing and performing a poem, speech, or piece of literature out loud in front of an audience. You have to really know the piece inside and out - every word, every pause, all the emotion and expression. It's not easy! The judges look at a few key things when scoring:Memorization (25 points)This is probably the most important part. You have to have the whole piece perfectly memorized, without any mistakes, prompts, or slip-ups. The judges will deduct points if you stumble over words, say something incorrect, or need prompting from the audience or moderator. Having the piece down cold is crucial.Expression and Animation (25 points)Just knowing the words isn't enough - you have to really bring the piece to life with your voice and body language! The judges want to see animated facial expressions, gestures, and vocal variety. Don't just stand there like a robot. Get into character and show lots of energy and emotion. Make strong eye contact with the audience too.Volume, Clarity and Pacing (20 points)It's important to speak loudly, clearly and at a good pace - not too fast or too slow. The judges need to be able to understand every word without straining. Enunciate everything crisply and project your voice to the back of the room. Vary your pacing too - faster during exciting parts, slower during sad or reflective moments.Understanding and Interpretation (15 points)The judges can tell if you really understand what you're reciting or just regurgitating words mindlessly.
