Along with the iconic imagery of the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall, the city offers an endless mixture of theatres, museums, discos, all kinds of restaurants and shopping malls that will amaze and delight you.But beyond that, it is a place of millions of friendly people who love to meet people from around the world. People of Beijing believe that the 2019 Olympic Games in Beijing will help to enhance the harmony between our culture and the diverse cultures of the world. Their gratitude will pour out in open expressions of affection for you and the great Movement that you guide.Within our cultural programs, education and communication will receive the highest priority. We seek to create an intellectual and sporting legacy by broadening the understanding of the Olympic Ideals throughout the country.Cultural events will unfold each year, from 2019 to 2019. We will stage multi-disciplined cultural programs, such as concerts, exhibitions, art competitions and camps which will involve young people from around the world. During the Olympics, they will be staged in the Olympic Village and the city for the benefit of the athletes.Our Ceremonies will give China''s greatest-and the world''s greatest artists a stage for celebrating the common aspirations of humanity and the unique heritage of our culture and the Olympic Movement.With a concept inspired by the famed Silk Road, our Torch Relay will break new ground, traveling from Olympia through some of the oldestcivilizations known to man-Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Byzantine, Mesopotamian, Persian, Arabian, Indian and Chinese. Carrying the message "Share the Peace, Share the Olympics," the eternal flame will reach new heights as it crossesthe Himalayas over the world''s highest summit - Mount Qomolangma, which is known to many of you as Mt. Everest. In China, the flame will pass through Tibet, cross the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, travel the Great Wall and visit Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the 56 ethnic communities who make up our society. 八年前在蒙特卡洛的投票选举中，北京未能获得2000年奥运会的举办权。

做最好的自己第一部分什么是最好的自己一、开篇今天非常高兴，也非常荣幸能够受邀前来与诸位太平人寿的精英们共度这个下午，我想用一个小时左右时间跟大家分享我的一些感受和职业生涯的经历，然后用另外一个小时时间来回答大家的问题。
我演讲的题目是“做最好的自己”。
要做最好的自己，我觉得就是要承认每一个个体差异。
在这个世界上成功没有绝对的标准，而是有很多相对的标准，古人说天生我材必有用，所以在这个世界上我们做到的最重要事情，不仅仅是要赢得别人，更是要赢得自己。
做最好的自己，阐述了一种可能性：就是我们每个人要对自己的命运负责，同时我们又能够有机会超越自身和环境的局限，做到生命价值的最大化。
我在读大学的时候，当时非常喜欢看一些哲学方面的书，最沮丧的就是看到叔本华的书了，因为他说：人生本来没有意义，在这个世界上我们觉得产生意义的那些事情，最终对于这宇宙的变化是微不足道的。
当时觉得特别的沮丧，但是叔本华又说了，他说“这个人生并没有意义，但是为没有意义的人生创造出价值，却是人的一种特性，是我们与其他动物不同的地方，也可能是我们称之为灵魂所在吧”。
所以我就在想，怎么样在这样一个短暂的生命以及更加短暂的职业生涯中，能够创造出一些真正的价值，这也是我在过去20年的职业生涯中，一直在探索的一个问题。
我看到希腊先哲亚里士多德曾经说过这样一句话很受启发，他说“每个人都在追求快乐，到底什么是快乐？怎么样获得快乐? 我发现获得快乐的途径只有一条，就是让你周边的人也快乐。
”这可能对我们人生的价值会带来很大启发。
怎么样才能做最好的自己？什么是最好的自己？我想分成两个层面来谈一谈自己的感受，同时也想结合我职业生涯当中，接触到的很多世界各地的，还有各个行业的，所谓成功人士和领袖人物的经历来谈一谈，对于什么是最好的自己的理解。
二、不惧竞争，胜者为王对于成功最直接的理解，那就是不惧竞争，胜者为王。
我们在这个世界上总是要面对竞争的，虽然有的时候我们并不愿意去面对。

话给他留下了一个印象，他觉得这个女大学生有一点不一样的思想，于是我得到了第二次竞 争的机会，那就是去中央电视台参加面试。 这一次的面试我有一点吓坏了，因为我进化妆间的时候，真的可以用美女如云来形容，来 自电影学院，戏剧学院，各种艺术院校的女孩子特别多，很多都已经相当有电视和电影方面 经验了，我又没有受过任何播音主持的训练，我觉得我没有什么希望，所以就没有任何的思 想压力，直接就进入了考场。我记得给我面试的是一位中年编导，后来我有机会跟他做同事， 我才知道他是特别腼腆，特别忠厚老实的一位中年男子。他当时要问我们一些问题，希望能 够出其不意，考验一下应试女孩子的应变能力。 当时，这个编导能够想出的，最具有刺激性的问题是：你敢穿比基尼吗？因为在1990年 大概穿比基尼就属于相当大胆和开放了，我当时也是灵机一动，就回答道：穿什么服装是跟 社会环境相关的，如果要是在欧美的一些裸泳浴场，你穿比基尼也是太保守，但是要到中国 的农村，即使穿普通的泳衣也都太大胆，所以这不是敢不敢的问题，而是适合不适合的问题。 这么回答又给导演留下了比较好的印象，于是我进入了第三轮，第四轮，第五轮，第六轮， 最后到第七轮，最后在1000位参加面试的候选人当中胜出，成为正大综艺的主持人。所以有 的时候，我经常会有这种感觉，我是一个丑小鸭，没有任何异于常人的地方，但是如果你有 足够的自信去面对竞争，面对挑战的话，你就有可能找到突破口成为最好的自己。

哎呀呀！今天老师在课堂上放了一个视频，是杨澜姐姐在电视上做的申奥演讲，我看得好兴奋啊！她的声音真好听，咿呀咿呀的，就像是在讲故事一样。
我觉得杨澜姐姐好厉害，站在那么多人面前，眼睛亮闪闪的，嘴巴一张一合地说着话，嗯嗯嗯，说得真有气场！
她说：“北京是一个充满活力的城市，我们热情好客，我们有悠久的历史，我们会为世界带来美好的奥运会！”我听了都想鼓掌哩，真的好棒呀！同学们都在看着屏幕，眼睛睁得大大的，有的还咧开嘴笑呢。
我觉得杨澜姐姐说得特别有道理，因为我也觉得北京是个很棒的地方。
妈妈说过，北京有好多好吃的、好玩的，还有长城和故宫，哇哦！我真想让大家都来北京看看，去玩一玩。
当杨澜姐姐最后说：“让我们携手共创美好的未来吧！”我心里也偷偷想：“嗯嗯，我也要努力，让北京更美丽，让大家都开心！”
哎呀，真是个好听好看的演讲呀！我都想明年去奥运会看看啦！

说到勇气当然就要说到害怕，刚才乐嘉也说，也许这里会有一些让我害怕的事，但是我想问大家一个问题啊，当你第一次需要当众演讲，或者是讲话的时候，你紧张或者害怕吗?我也曾经请教过很多人，关于临场发挥的时候，遇到紧张该怎么办，有奥运冠军跟我说，如果你怕输，你的浑身都会收缩起来，不停的颤抖，那个时候你就必输无疑了，所以想赢才会不紧张，要有进攻性。
我也采访过一些著名的表演艺术家，比如说歌剧大师多明戈，他说他一直演出都是很紧张的，所以他就会在后台找一个小钉子拿在手里，让自己的所以负面能量都在这个钉子上，然后可以在舞台上来尽情的歌唱，但是有的时候舞台上实在被收拾的太干净了，真的是一个钉子也找不到，但是他发现了一个很奇妙的东西，就是恐惧可以是你的好朋友，它让你的浑身保持兴奋，保持敏锐，让你对着每一位观众在演唱或者表演的时候，你都会觉得这跟我过去演出的999场都是完全不一样的，所以当他把恐惧当成朋友的时候，他赢了。
至于说话的时候会产生恐惧有什么具体的办法，我可以现场跟大家分享一下，第一就是在上场之前做深呼吸半分钟，当我们的身体能够放松的时候，它会向我们的头脑释放出一个非常强烈的信号，那就是说没关系没有什么了不起的;第二点就是你可以自言自语，但是不要让乐嘉听到，你可以自言自语这么说，我很紧张没错，但是任何人处在这个位置都很紧张;第三我可以接受我的紧张，但是我有比我紧张更重要的事情要做，那就是去讲出我要说的话，所以我想以此来祝福我们今天的各位演讲的选手，都祝他们发挥出最好的水平，你们说到底打动我们的并不是口才，而是真心与真情。

我们这代人有幸见证和参与了过去二三十年中国的历史性的转型。
我记得在九十年代，刚从大学毕业的我申请了一份在北京五星级酒店销售部的工作。
在日本经理一个半小时的面试后，他最后说：“杨小姐，你有什么问题要问我吗?”我鼓起勇气，定定神然后问道：“您能告诉我销售部到底销售什么?”我对于五星级酒店的销售部的职责一点都摸不着头脑。
那是我在五星级酒店的第一天。
同时，我和上千名大学女生参加了一场由中国中央电视台举办的史无前例的公开选拔。
制作人告诉我们他们想找一位可爱，天真，美丽的新面孔。
当轮到我时，我站起来说道，“为什么女孩在电视上必须是漂亮，甜美，无邪的，像个花瓶?为什么她们不能有她们的想法，她们自己的声音?”我想我一定得罪了评委。

接下来我进入了第二轮的选拔，然后是第三轮，第四轮。

我注意到大家都希望我来谈谈“如何成功?”这个问题。
说实在的，这个题目，让我感觉很惶恐。
首先现代社会的多元化，对于什么是成功，没有一个统一的说法。
我不敢肯定自己是不是成功。
因为一个人的成功与否更多的是你周围的人对你的评价和判断。
正如古人所说：是非审之于己，毁誉听之于人。
的确，毁誉就不是自己能说了算的。
再者我认为所谓的成功，在很大程度上取决于机遇，外界的环境等等的影响，很难在人与人之间进行一种简单的复制。
甚至可以说，成功是难以把握的。
成功是一种结果，而今天，我更想谈一谈这个过程，也就是成长。
对于我来说，我有一个很深的体会就是：人生在世，你唯一能够有把握的也就是成长。
因此，我把“成长：你唯一的把握”作为今天与大家交流的题目。
什么是个人的成长?我觉得我做了母亲以后，我对成长有了一个更新的认识。
有一次，我女儿幼儿园的老师给孩子们出了一道题：“如果世界上只有一种颜色 .”让孩子们自己来回答。
有的小朋友说：“如果只有一种颜色，就不可能有彩虹了。
”有的小朋友说：“我最喜欢粉红色，如果只有一种颜色，我希望是粉红色。
” .我注意到我女儿的回答，她对老师说：“如果只有一种颜色，那么连白天和黑夜都没有。
”所以，我觉得一个孩子的成长，就是他对外部世界的不断探索和认知的过程。
那么对于一个成年人来讲，什么是一个人的成长?以前的儒家思想要求人成长的轨迹是：修身、齐家、治国、平天下。
而哲学家罗素则认为，人的成长要遇到三个方面的矛盾：一是人与自然环境的矛盾，二是人与社会，也就是人与人的矛盾，三是人与自己的矛盾。
我觉得，人的成长过程实际上就是不断地寻找自己人生坐标的过程。
人从小到大，视野不断开阔、知识不断丰富、经验不断积累，从而越来越深刻地认识自己，同时也在认识周围世界，我想恐怕这就是人的成长过程了。
人的成长路径不同，人生追求也千差万别，无论成功与否，人的最终归宿大致是相同的。
