Friendship Between Animals是Danny和李明写给彼此的信件,本身属于应用文范畴,第一封信Danny向李明分享了自己刚刚了解的动物间的趣事,他发现不同种类的动物也能够和平共处,这与他一直认为的“只有同类动物才可以一起生活”产生了矛盾。

随后Danny通过一个个的衔接问题带领大家一步步了解了犀牛和白鹭两种不同的动物和平相处甚至互相帮助的日常生活场景,全文逻辑性非常强,但是难度又不大,符合当前初中生的阅读能力。

但写作确实是大多数学生的心头病。

因为写作能力的提高依赖于扎实的语言基本功,而且也与语言习惯,语言的灵活运用,学习态度等有很大关系。

那么如何改进教学设计,提高写作教学的有效性呢?现围绕以下几个问题来谈一谈我的几点看法与做法:一.在我日常的教学中,我发现学生在写作时往往会出现以下几个问题:现就拿我们上次的期中考试英语作文来说吧。

作文要求写一篇日记,描述你一次愉快的周末,至少十句话。

要求用到1sunny 2get up 3breakfast 4do one’s homework 5lunch6play with 7help my mother 8go shopping 9after supper 10watch TV.1.不看题目要求,想到什么,写什么。

我在阅卷时发现:有些同学按自己的想法写,虽描述的是自己一次愉快的周末,但完全没有用到所要求用的短语或词汇,要么就是用了一部分。

2 把写作当成翻译题,逐字逐句的翻译。

这个问题存在的比较广泛。

大多数同学只是把题目要求的内容翻译了一遍,没有扩展也没有延伸。

当然也达不到语言的综合运用。

3. 没有整体规划,忽略时态,人称。

格式。

上面的题目要求写一篇日记,应该用一般过去时态;人称是你自己;格式应该在最上面一行写出日期和天气情况。

但阅卷时发现,绝大多学生用的是一般现在时态,人称有些写别人的,还有些写家人的,唯独没有写自己。

格式上也没有按日记的格式写。

4.写完后不检查。

可以说写完后如果认真检查是完全可以找出不少问题的。

关键是有一部分学生学习态度不端正,根本就不检查。

当然我在打分时也是按照格式不对扣一分,时态不对扣两分的标准来打的。

二.那么针对存在的这些问题,如何提高写作教学的有效性呢?(1)要写“好作文“,先写”好句子。

对七年级学生来说,要写出一篇好作文,我认为首先应该要会写出正确的句子。

因此,我经常引导学生利用所掌握的词汇进行造句。

经过一段时间的训练,学生基本掌握了简单的造句技能。

为下面的写作有了条件,接着我从一些简单的英语范文中抽出各个句子的重要词汇来,让学生在我的引导下用这些词汇造句,然后将造出来的句子连在一起,就成了一篇学生简单的英语作文。

久而久之,学生的英语写作能力渐渐提高起来。

(2)要写好作文,得养好习惯。

常常写英语日记和读书笔记,写下好的句子也是有益于英语写作的。

因为这不仅可以锻炼学生的笔头,还可以为学生今后的写作积累写作素材。
