当不定冠词讲的时候，an用在元音的前面

不定冠词a/an 使用时应该注意的几点：

1）用于第一次提及某人或某事物表示有个、某个或一个

一个男人走出了房间

A man came out the room.

您能来真是荣幸啊！

It has been an honor to have you.

我们需要有语言知识的人。

We need people with a knowledge of language.

2) 与度量单位连用的时候表示一个单位

一百a hundred 一刻钟 a quarter of an hour

3)或者表示一个或任何一个，用于提及说话者不认识的人，表示某一个人

一个名字叫做斯密斯的先生打来电话。

A Mr. Smith telephoned.

4) 用于表示某一类人或者事物

他是一名律师。

He is a lawyer.

这辆车是辆宝马车。

This car is a BMW.

5）表示速度、速率、比率

每分钟打六十个字。

Typing sixty words a minute.

将汽油的价格每升提高到三便士的动议。
