圣诞晚会上的讲话

女士们、先生们、朋友们：

大家晚上好！

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good evening！

今天，宁波市外商投资企业协会在这里举行2008年圣诞晚会，首先请允许我代表宁波市外经贸局、宁波市外商投资企业协会向在座的各位外商朋友致以亲切的问候和节日的祝贺！向一直来关心、支持我市外商投资企业协会工作各位领导、各位嘉宾表示衷心的感谢和良好的祝愿！祝大家在新的一年里工作顺利、生活美满、万事如意！

Today, the Ningbo Foreign Invested Enterprises Association hold the Christmas party of 2008. First of all, on behalf of the Ningbo Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, Ningbo Foreign Invested Enterprises Association, please allow me to extend my cordial greetings to foreign friends present here! I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to leaders and guests concerning about and supporting the work of the Association! I wish you all success, happiness and good luck in the New Year!

今年宁波市外商投资企业协会在各级领导的关怀和全市外商投资企业的共同努力下，又取得新的成绩：

In this year, with the care of leaders at all levels and the joint efforts of all the foreign invested enterprises, the Association made

new achievements.

一是推动会员企业履行社会责任，大力弘扬社会责任先进企业。

The first was to promote member companies to fulfill their social responsibilities, and carry forward the spirit of advanced enterprises.

1、推动会员企业全面履行社会责任，为构建和谐社会做出新的贡献。引导企业依法经营、照章纳税、热心于社会公益事业，担当起为社会应尽的职责。

1. Promoted member enterprises to fulfill social responsibility fully for building a harmonious society. Guide enterprises to operate in accordance with the law, pay taxes, contribute to public welfare, and assume responsibility for the society.

2、大力弘扬社会责任先进企业。为表彰先进，鼓励外资企业和谐健康发展，今年推荐评选出社会责任先进企业30家，并进行了表彰。

2. Carried forward the advanced enterprises. In order to commend the advanced enterprises, and encourage harmonious and healthy development of foreign-invested enterprises, this year recommended and cited 30 advanced enterprises fulfilling social responsibility 二是发挥协会信息资源优势，帮助企业正确理解和把握相关政策。

Second, took advantage of information resources to help enterprises understand the policy.

１、组织实施各种形式的政策宣讲会。先后邀请了市社会劳

动保障、市工商、海关、检验检疫局、国土资源局、外汇局、出口信用保险公司等部门进行政策法规宣讲，帮助企业及时把握相关政策。

1. Organized various forms of policies explanation meetings. We invited the Labor and Social Security Bureau, the Industry and Commerce Administration, Customs, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Land and Resources Bureau, the Bureau of foreign exchange, Export Credit Insurance Corporation to explain policies and regulations, helping enterprises understand the relevant policies in time.

２、及时编印宁波外商投资企业协会通讯，今年已经编印《协会通讯》5期。努力构建外商投资企业协会网站，开辟外商投资企业服务平台，为外商朋友提供各类服务。

2. Edited and printed Journal of the Association in time. This year the association has edited 5 issues of Journal, built foreign-invested Enterprises Association Web site and service platform to provide a wide range of services for foreign friends.

三是坚持服务宗旨，热心为企业解忧排难。

Third, adhere to the principle of service, helping enterprises to solve difficulties.

１、召开外商投资企业座谈会。邀请部分外资企业领导参加小型座谈会、走访外资企业了解企业在生产经营中碰到的难题，听取外商朋友对政府工作的意见和建议。

1. held discussion meeting for foreign-invested enterprises. Invite some of the managers of foreign-funded enterprises to
