CZ-5型风速风向仪技术手册
1 general
1.1 functions
Meteorological states are very important to sailing safety oººf ships on the sea and the rate of hitting the target of weapons on the ships. Anemoscope model cz-5 is instrument suitable for all sorts of large-scale and medium-sized ships to measure meteorological parameters of area where ships are.
The anemoscope is intellectualized by the eight-digit single-chip microcomputer 8031.the instrument is composed of the main instrument and repeater indicator and sensors. It can measure some meteorological key elements such as combined wind direction, combined wind velocity, in 120seconds and maximum wind velocity in 120seconds. The wind scale is determined according to average sliding wind velocity in 120seconds. The maximum wind direction angle value is evaluated from the wind direction value collected in 120 seconds. When the repeater indicator is distributed, it can indicate distantly some main meteorological key elements above and communicate with the outer system computer.

2. Usage
2.1 Operation of instrument
2.1.1 Instrument panel
There are three display windows on it. The 1-digit window in left is mode number. The data displayed in the middle 3-digit one and the left 4-digit one is to indicate the contents displayed under current mode. You can see the contrast table on the panel to know what does the data means. There are four operation buttons on panel, including one reset buttons, one working mode selecting buttons, one dimmer switch, and one power switch.

2.1.2 Operating regulations
You must operate according to the operating regulations provided in this manual. Otherwise, the instrument can not work normally. After switching on the power supply, the instrument automatically enters the state of self-test to examine whether the components are in normal condition. If the instrument is ok, the instrument enters the normal measuring and running state. At this time, we can enter the operation of measuring and running state: use mode-selected button to choose various meteorological data at will. See the following operating regulations for detail.
a. before the machine is switched on, it must be sure that all the I/O cable plugs of the instrument are put through correctly and reliably. Then switch on the power supply.
b. after the power supply is put through, the instrument enters self-test and successively display “8031 good”、“6264 good”、“8155 good ”、“1443 good ”in the 8-digit indicator in the panel. At last it shows “1XXX XXXX”.
c. after indicating “1XXX XXXX”,it means the machine can work normally; the instrument enters the normal measuring and running state.
d. then you can select the data you want to display according to the indicating content contrast tabl
e. If the mode switches down, the data of each mode will be displayed alternately in main instrument, and each data will stay for three seconds in display. If the mode switch is pushed up, the data of current mode will be always displayed.
2.1.3 Remarks in the course of using
a. do not reset the instrument if it works well, because the instrument will redo all the above operations.
b. during working course of the instrument, you can observe the decimal point of mode number in the indicator. If it does not change from brightness to darkness or from darkness to brightness at intervals of 3 seconds that means the computer is not working normally. Then you can reset it, or switch off the instrument and switch on it again.
c. in the self-test of the instrument, if certain item is not “good” but “EEEE” them something has gone wrong with the hardware of this item, the instrument can work only after the breakdown has been fixe
d. If it stays continuously at “8155 good” and does not go on, it means that the -5V power supply of A/D chip 5G14433 has not added or the chip is not good.
d. the instrument should be adjusted after the sensors are repaired or replaced.

2.1.2 仪器的操作规程
一定要按照本手册中规定的操作规程进行操作,否则仪器将不能正常运转。打开电源开关后,仪器自动进入自检状态,检查主要部件是否正常。若部件正常,仪器进入正常测量运行状态,这时可用状态选择键选取所需气象数据进行显示,详见以下的操作规程。

c. 在显示“1XXX XXXX”之后,说明该机可进行正常工作,仪器便进入正常测量运行状态。
d. 此后可按显示内容对照表,选择所需数据进行显示,当工作状态在选择按钮按下时,为自动显示状态,主仪器轮番显示各状态下的数据,并且每状态停留3秒。当工作状态在选择按钮退出时,即可停留在某一状态显示数据。
2.1.3 使用过程中的注意事项
a. 在仪器正常工作时,可观察状态码的小数点是否以3秒间隔一明一暗地闪烁。如不闪烁,则计算机已经不再正常运行,此时,可将复位或关机重新启动以便仪器能正常工作。
c. 仪器在自检时,若某一项不为“good”而是“EEEE”则说明该硬件有问题,需排除后,才能工作。若一直停留在“8155 good”而不进行下去,则说明A/D芯片5G14433的-5V电源没有加上,或此芯片有问题。
d. 传感器维修或调换后,应重新校正。
