Unit 7 The Birthday Party

Topic 1 When is your birthday? Section A

本课是第七单元话题一的第一课时。本话题主要学习关于日期、出生时间、出生地点、物体形状特征的表达方式，be动词的一般过去时和序数词。本课的主要活动是1a, 1c和3a。通过Kangkang和Michael谈论英国作家J.K.Rowling展开学习，对话主要涉及到J.K.Rowling的作品、出生地点及出生年月。通过人物对话，学生将学习关于询问和回答出生年月与地点的表达方式并初步了解be动词的一般过去时；还能通过一系列听、读、写的练习活动掌握年份和十二个月份的表达法及其书写形式。语音板块通过听说让学生掌握字母组合ou, ow, ph 及辅音字母p的发音，并根据发音规则正确拼读和辨认单词。

6.Listen to Part A of 1c, 熟记十二个月的单词。

7.. Write the years in 2a in English, and then check the answers together. Finish Part 2a.熟记年份的写法和读法。

8..Listen to Part B of 2b, write down the corresponding years of the pictures and then check the answers. Finish 2b.

9.听４a的录音并大声跟读，注意表格中的字母或字母组合在单词中的发音。然后大声朗读４b中的单词，注意同一字母或字母组合在单词中的发音变化。

1. be动词的过去式的用法

(1)am/is--was______ are---__were_

(2) 否定式：was not ---__wasn`t_______ were not---____weren`t_

(3) 一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的变化规则

2. be born 的用法

be born +______in____+年份、月份

be born +_____on_____+具体某一天、具体某一天的上午、下午或晚上

3．年份的读法：

A.年份用基数词来读，一般情况是两位两位读。如：

1876年读作_eihgteen seventy---si x 2030年读作twenty thirty

B.年份的其他读法。如：

1900年读作nineteen hundred2000年读作two thousand

2008年读作two thousand and eight 1902年读作nineteen o two

4.英语的日期表达有两种：

1.）把月份写在日期前面，格式;月日年

eg.May 21st,2008 读作：May (the) twenty -first ,two thousand and eight

2)先写日期再写月份和年格式; 日月年

Eg. 8th Augest 2008 读作: the eighth of Augest, two thousand and eight

5.重点句型：
