家长们意外:孩子居然能牢牢地“粘”在板凳上,还像模像样地举手提问,并且坚持40多分钟;老师们意外:从9点到11点半,从公开课到展示课,这期间没有一个家长主动离席,偌大的多功能厅始终“人满为患”,来晚的家长都静静地站在走廊边。
但最让人感到意外的,却是滕梅芳校长的发言,她说:“我在这道‘气球’考题中找到了答案。
” 教室的屋顶上,悬浮着很多带字母的氢气球。
布置场景时,有老师说,不要挂气球吧,气球会分散孩子们的注意力。
滕校长说,还是挂吧,“营造出一种温馨的感觉,让孩子们觉得:小学其实并不可怕,小学也像幼儿园一般温暖漂亮。
” 家长在择校,其实学校也在观察孩子,如果不是校长的“最后点破”,估计在场的人都没想到校长的这道“题”—— 课上兴致正浓时,忽然一个气球飘了下来,26个孩子会有怎样的反应?当第二个、第三个……气球飘下来的时候,孩子又会是什么反应?是继续听课,还是忍不住伸出小手去接? “好动是孩子的天性。
第一个气球飞下来,几乎所有的孩子都很兴奋,有些还会伸出小手去接住它。
老师也像大姐姐一样和孩子们一起送气球回家。
但第二个气球飞下来时,只有几个孩子小屁股坐不住了,想去接住它,其他的孩子已经意识到老师在上课,是不可以随便离开座位的。
第三个气球飞下来时,只有两个小朋友用热切的眼神注视着。
”滕校长说,这就是让孩子提前感知、体验小学生活的幼小衔接。
课堂精彩实录摘编 执教人:马一帆(浙江省新生代小学英语教师优秀展示课执教人) 40分钟全英文上课 从来没有学过英语的孩子都懂了 孩子的心灵没有尘壤,与淳朴的动物最易灵犀相通。
马老师请来了孩子们喜爱的朋友——六个神通广大的小动物,他们不但会发出叫声,还会“瞬间变色”藏起来。
六位“嘉宾”一出场,孩子们的心就飞到了动物园。
“喵!喵!喵!……”这是谁在叫?老师话未完,小朋友们异口同声地说:“cat!(猫)”屏幕上立即跳出一只咪咪眼、小嘴巴、红彤彤的小猫,“cat! cat! a red(红色)cat! ”老师教孩子发音的同时还拿出一张A4的红色纸,大家马上意会了:哦,red就是“红色”的意思啊! 最紧张、最刺激的环节是紧急寻找一只“失踪的动物”。
原来,动物们集体亮相时,总有个家伙不合群,爱“玩消失”,一会是white dog(白狗),一会是yellow duck(黄鸭),……小朋友们费了九牛二虎之力,才把这些家伙找出来。
40分钟的全英语教学,一句中文都没有,可现场的孩子们,会兴奋地告诉你,英语真是太有趣了! “中大班孩子喜爱模仿,他们对模仿小动物的动作,学习小动物的叫声和走路姿势,有浓厚兴趣。
”老师说。

语言专家解答热门话题 话题一:小学一年级学英语是否有必要? 答:10年前,上海《文汇报》展开过“小学一年级究竟要不要学英语”的大讨论。
再看看今天的上海,哪所小学一年级没开英语课呢。
有调查表明,上海考生的文化课成绩比不过浙江考生,但他们的外语沟通能力却比浙江学生强。
上海能成为高度国际化的都市,与他们的外语整体素质高是分不开的。
新课程标准要求小学三年级开设英语课,其实,何时开始学英语主要取决于教学的条件。
只要学校具备两个条件,孩子早点起步学习英语肯定有好处而没什么坏处。
这两个条件就是:胜任的教师和合理的教学计划。
前者要求英语教师具备过硬的英语语言基本功(尤其是标准的语音语调和正确的口语表达能力),以及英语教学基本功(包括正确的教学理念、教学方法和教学技巧)。
后者要求学校要制定一套注重学习兴趣和语言技能、目标明确具体而操作性强、教学生动活泼而切实有效的教学计划。
这两个条件是孩子在小学阶段学好英语的前提和保证,如果学校的师资力量不足,只能给予孩子“点缀式”的英语教学,还是不开的好。
话题二:小学一年级学英语是否会混淆拼音? 答:一年级的语文课以汉语拼音开始,但拼音只不过是孩子们口头早已会运用的普通话的发音符号而已。
英语课是要让学生初步感受和学习简单的英语发音和日常口语,好像低幼儿童学说话,逐步培养口头交际能力。
当学生掌握了汉语拼音,英语课将以类似拼音的认读教学法(直拼法),引导学生逐渐学会英语文字的读音规律。
这时的汉语拼音技能还会促进英语拼读能力的发展。
孩子的语言学习潜能是很大的,大多数孩子都会熟练地说一种、甚至几种方言和普通话,就是一个很好的证明。
话题三:家长和老师对于孩子学英语应该关注什么? 答:尽管学外语不同于说母语,小学生学习外语的过程类似于婴幼儿学说母语的自然过程,也就是主要通过语言的视听感受,理解、模仿和运用,逐步学会正确的表达和交流。
能否达到这个目标?一个是要维持孩子的英语学习兴趣和信心,一个是要为孩子提供大量规范的听说机会以及充分的运用机会。
我们这一代成年人,大多数是从初中以后才开始学英语,但是现在的孩子和我们不一样,所以老师和家长不要以自己的经验来看待现在的小学生学英语。
教师在教学英语时,应该把英语学习的趣味性和参与度放在首位,通过简单、直观而标准的全英语环境、组织生动活泼的学习活动,让学生在参与中自然学习英语的发音和说话。
低年级应该主要重视发音和口语表达的准确性,过分强调认读和拼写是不合适的。
家长在家里可以播放一些简单的英语歌曲歌谣和小故事,为孩子增添感受英语的机会。
不要过早要求认读、拼写甚至翻译词语或句子,以免拔苗助长了。
对于已经有良好口语基础的小学中高年级的孩子,教师和家长应及时关注发展他们的读写技能,尤其要为他们提供一些符合兴趣又比较容易读懂的课外阅读材料,最好是课程配套的英语分级注释读物和有声读本,在继续强化听说能力的同时培养阅读理解能力,引导孩子逐步成为积极自主、成功而自信的英语学习者。
