The guiding ideology of the FSESTD is “original creation of research, breakthrough of technology, achievement boosting the industry”. Under this ideology, the FSESTD actively promotes academic exchange and cooperation, and the industrialization of research achievement, which supported the construction of several key projects in China. Since 2008, the laboratory has completed over thirty national research projects, including projects of national 863 program, key projects of the Science and Technology Ministry, projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and international cooperation projects. The FSESTD accomplished the national specification Technical Specification for Fire Prevention of Constructional Steel Structures and Design Standard for Fire Prevention of Underground Public Structures. Evaluation and design of structural fire resistance for various buildings were conducted, including China pavilion of World Expo, Shanghai Hongqiao National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai Tower, Tianjin 117 building, Guangzhou new TV Tower, Pudong International Airport Terminal II, Shanghai Minpu Bridge, New Guangzhou Railway Station, New WuHan Railway Station, Shanghai Stadium, Beijing National Olympic Green Convention Center and many other major projects. Remarkable economic effects and social benefits were achieved. The research works from the FSESTD received two second prizes of State Science and Technology Awards, three first prizes and two second prizes of provincial and ministerial Science and Technology Awards.

概况 Introduction
土木工程防灾国家重点实验室依托同济大学土木工程一级国家重点学科及下属防灾减灾工程及防护工程、结构工程、桥梁 与隧道工程、岩土工程等四个二级国家重点学科,面向国家重大工程建设的战略需求和国际土木工程防灾学科的发展前 沿,主要开展土木工程领域的防灾减灾研究工作。实验室由国家计委于1988年批准建立、1990年1月国家教委批准对外开 放、1991年10月通过正式验收,直到2009年都是我国土木工程领域中唯一的国家重点实验室。在1997年和2013年国家 重点实验室评估中被评为优秀。 工程结构抗火试验室成立于2008年,是土木工程防灾国家重点实验室的一个分支机构。试验室建筑面积约2700平方米, 拥有大型水平构件抗火试验炉、中小型构件抗火试验炉、高温和热机械疲劳测试系统、高温力学试验机、高温蠕变试验 机、锥形量热仪、单体燃烧测试仪、建筑材料燃烧性能系列测试设备、以及隧道及地下工程火灾多功能试验平台等试验设 备,并配置了电液伺服加载系统、英国艾美创非接触式应变位移测量系统、英国数力强应变位移温度测试系统、Flir红外热 成像仪等,可进行结构材料的高温力学性能测试、大中小型构件的抗火性能试验、建筑材料的燃烧性能测试等各种试验, 是目前国内高校中结构抗火试验能力最强的试验室之一。试验室与英国曼彻斯特大学、英国爱丁堡大学、新加坡国立大 学、新加坡理工大学、澳大利亚Monash大学等国外大学建立了稳定的合作研究关系。 工程结构抗火试验室以“研究力求原创,技术取得突破,成果促进产业”为指导思想,积极促进学术交流与合作,推动研 究成果的产业化,为我国重大工程建设提供科研成果和技术服务。自2008年以来,试验室主持三十多项国家级科研项目, 包括:国家863计划项目课题、国家重大科技专项课题、国家科技支撑项目、国家重点研发计划以及国家自然科学基金重 点项目、重大国际合作计划、基金海外青年学者合作研究基金、面上项目、青年基金项目等;主编国家标准《建筑钢结构 防火技术规范》及行业标准《地下公共建筑结构抗火性能设计标准》;完成了世博会中国馆、上海虹桥国家会展中心、上 海中心大厦、天津117大厦、广州新电视塔、浦东国际机场二期航站楼、上海闵浦大桥、新广州火车站、新建铁路武汉 站、上海八万人体育场、北京奥林匹克公园国家会议中心等重大工程的结构抗火安全评估与设计,取得了显著的经济效益 和社会效益。研究成果获国家科技进步奖二等奖2项,省部级科技奖一等奖3项、二等奖2项。

FIRE SAFETY OF ENGINEERING STRUCTURES TESTING DIVISION
State Key Laboratory for Disaster Reduction in Civil Engineering was established based on Civil Engineering of Tongji University, which is the state first-grade key subject including four state second-grade key subjects, Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering, Structural Engineering, Bridge and Tunnel Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering. The State Key Laboratory for Disaster Reduction in Civil Engineering (SLDRCE) focuses on the strategic demand of construction of national major projects and frontier of the development of the international disaster prevention discipline in Civil Engineering. SLDRCE was approved by State Planning Commission in 1998 and opened to public in January 1990. In October 1991, SLDRCE was formally assessed and accepted. It has been the only national key laboratory in the field of Civil Engineering before 2010. In 1997 and 2013, SLDRCE achieved excellence in the evaluation of national key laboratories.
As a branch division of SLDRCE, Fire Safety of Engineering Structures Testing Division (FSESTD) was established in 2008. The FSESTD has an approximate site area of 2700 square meters. Various facilities and equipment are available in the FSESTD, including test furnaces for fire resistance of large-scale horizontal members, test furnaces for middle-scale and small-scale members, test systems for elevated temperature and thermal mechanical fatigue, material test machines at elevated temperatures, creep testing machine at elevated temperature, conical calorimeter, single burning item testing system, testing equipment for combustibility of construction materials and multifunctional test platforms for fire disaster in tunnel and underground engineering. Along with the above facilities, related systems are also equipped including electro-hydraulic servo loading system, British IMETRUM contactless measuring system for strain and displacement, British SLQ testing system for stain, displacement and temperature, Flir infrared thermal imager and so on. The FSESTD can satisfy the demand for performance tests of different structural materials, fire resistance tests of members in different scales, combustibility tests of different construction materials and other types of tests. It has been one of the most powerful lab in structural fire resistance testing among the universities and colleges in China. Stable research partnership has been established between the FSESTD and universities out of China, including University of Manchester, University of Edinburgh, National University of Singapore, Singapore Institute of Technology, Monash University.
