Nie Er---a Great Chinese Composer
Nie Er a great Chinese composer，was born in 1912 in Yunnan .When he was
a boy, he showed musical talent and learned to play erhu, the flute and several other musical instruments.
In 1933, Nie Er joined the Communist Party of China. He was very active in
olunteers‖ politics and wrote a lot of patriotic songs, among which ―March of the V
was chosen as the national anthem of the People’s Republic of China.
Unfortunately, in July, 1935, when he was swimming in Japan, he was drowned. The whole nation was sad for him.
Nie Er is considered as one of the greatest musical geniuses in the history of China and will be remembered by the Chinese people forever.
