Sample:Equality of Education OpportunityIn recent years the problems which are caused by the inequality of education opportunity have attracted the public's attention. For instance, the backward teaching facilities and dilapidated school buildings in rural areas are in sharp contrast to those advanced facilities and well-equipped classrooms in urban areas, students from poor families cannot go to universities because of the high tuition. There are several factors which contribute lo these problems. First, the distribution of resources is unbalanced between rural and urban schools. Second, educational loans for poor students are far from enough. Third, the inequality in some schools' admission policies also turns many students away. The education inequality can result in many bad impacts. On one hand, it can affect people’s future employment. On the other hand,it is the root of many social problems. To change this situation, I think, we should take the following measures. Firstly, the government's spending on education should be increased and the allocation of public resources gives priority to rural and weak urban schools. Secondly, the implementation of the government financial aid system for students should be accelerated. Thirdly, the government shouldspeed up education reforms to ensure everyone has equal access to schools.
1Unfair Rules at SchoolBy: A StudentSchool is supposed to be a place where we learn and grow, but sometimes the rules don't make any sense at all! There are so many unfair rules that make school harder and less fun than it needs to be. I'm going to tell you about some of the most unfair rules we have at my school. The first really unfair rule is about bathroom breaks. At my school, we aren't allowed to go to the bathroom during class time unless it's an "emergency." But what counts as an emergency? Sometimes you just really have to go and can't hold it for the whole 2 hour class period! The teachers never seem to understand. They act like we're trying to get out of doing work, but peeing isn't exactly my idea of fun. I think we should be allowed bathroom breaks whenever we need them, as long as we don't abuse the privilege. Holding it in for hours can't be good for our health!Another unfair rule is the dress code. Girls aren't allowed to wear tank tops or shorts above the knee. But why not? It gets so hot in the classroom, especially in late spring. We should be allowed to wear cool, comfortable clothes to school. Who decided that showing your shoulders or knees is a bad thing anyway? It's just human bodies. The dress code rules make no sense and seemingly exist just to give the teachers more power over us.The food rules are pretty unfair too. We have to eat the gross cafeteria food and aren't allowed to bring any outside food or drinks to school, not even a banana or water bottle. The cafeteria food is so unhealthy and doesn't have nearly enough fresh fruits and vegetables. A lot of it is processed, frozen foods reheated in a microwave. No wonder so many kids are overweight these days! If we could bring healthy snacks and lunches from home, we'd be able to eat much better. Some families also have special dietary restrictions that the cafeteria can't accommodate. Those kids get left out.Speaking of food, we aren't allowed to chew gum at school, which I think is a really dumb rule. Gum doesn't hurt anyone! Some kids actually concentrate better when they can chew something. As long as we don't stick it under the desks or makesmacking noises, what's the problem? Gum scripts should be allowed.Another unfair rule is about technology. We can't use our phones at all during the school day, even during lunch or recess. Phones have to stay in our lockers. In this day and age, that's ridiculous! We should at least be allowed to use them during breaks, for listening to music, playing games, or browsing educational websites. Having them in our lockers doesn't stop kids from cyber-bullying or cheating on tests anyway. They're just a tool like anything else. The most unfair rule of all has to be about recess time. We only get 20 minutes per day! And if the weather is bad and we have to have indoor recess, we basically get no free play time at all. We're stuck sitting at our desks while a movie plays. How is that mentally healthy? Kids need way more than 20 minutes to burn off energy through play and physical activity. An hour of recess time twice per day would be much better for our focus and wellbeing. The way it is now, most of us can barely make it through the long periods of sitting still without getting restless and bored.I'm sure the teachers and administrators think these rules are important. Maybe they're for safety reasons, or to prevent chaosin the hallways. But a lot of the rules seem completely arbitrary to me. Rules should make sense and have a clear purpose that actually benefits the students. Unfair rules that exist just to show authority or treat kids like we can't be trusted are bad rules in my opinion.School would be so much better if we had more freedom, independence, and healthy choices. I'm not saying we should have zero rules; that would be anarchy! But maybe students could help make the rules, or at least understand the reasoning behind them. I hope by the time I'm in middle school, they'll get rid of some of these unfair rules and make better ones that work for everyone. In the meantime, I'll just have to keep being a model student and follow the rules, as unfair as some of them are. Thanks for reading!篇2Unfair Rules at My SchoolBy [Your Name]School is supposed to be a place where we learn and have fun with our friends. But sometimes the rules can be really unfair and make school not so fun. There are a bunch of unfair rules at my school that I think should be changed! One of the unfairest rules is that we're not allowed to go to the bathroom during class time unless it's an "emergency." What does that even mean? Sometimes you just have to go and you can't hold it! I remember one time I really had to pee but my teacher wouldn't let me go. I ended up having an accident and all the kids laughed at me. I was so embarrassed and upset. That rule isn't fair at all.We should be able to go to the bathroom whenever we need to go. It's a basic human need! If our teachers were holding it in all day, I bet they wouldn't like it. Having bathroom restrictions is an unfair rule that needs to be changed.Another really dumb rule is that we can't use our phones or devices at all during the school day, even at lunch and recess. I understand not being allowed to use them during class time when we're supposed to be learning. But what's the harm in playing a game or texting our parents during lunch?A lot of kids' parents work and can only text or call them at lunch time. With this rule, we can't even message our parents back if they reach out. Plus, some kids don't have any other way to keep themselves entertained at recess besides their phone or tablet. It's not fair to have nothing to do during our free time at school.Phones and devices should at least be allowed during our breaks, as long as we're not disturbing anyone else. Taking them away completely is just mean. I hope they change that rule soon!Probably the most unfair rule at my school is the dress code. Girls can't wear tank tops, spaghetti straps, or anything that shows our shoulders. But it gets so hot in our classrooms! Why do we have to cover up so much when the boys can wear muscle shirts? It's not like our shoulders are some kind of distraction. That's a ridiculous excuse. We should be allowed to wear the same types of clothes as boys to stay cool and comfortable. Making girls cover up more is an unfair double standard that isn't right. The dress code also says our shorts and skirts have to go past our fingertips when our arms are at our sides. That's pretty long! And it's almost impossible to find trendy shorts or skirts that aren't considered "too short" by the school. It's not our fault girls' clothes these days are more stylish and modern. As long as we're not breaking any major inappropriate rules, we should be able to wear shorts and skirts that are a normal length. Having unfair dress codes that are way stricter for girls than boys is sexist. It's 2023, not the 1950s! That rule definitely needs an update.Sometimes the punishments for breaking the rules can be really harsh and unfair too. Did you know that if you get caught chewing gum or having candy at my school, they make you do morning detention? Yeah, serious punishment just for eating! That's so over-the-top.I get that maybe we shouldn't be snacking in class since it can be distracting. But giving us detention for it is so extreme. Maybe we could just get a warning first before such a big punishment. Detention for eating seems super unfair to me.There are a lot of other little unfair rules too, like only being allowed to drink clear water and juice at lunch. What's so bad about having a soda or colored sports drink sometimes? As long as we're staying hydrated and not spilling it everywhere, we should be able to drink what we want.Overall, my school has way too many rules that just don't make sense or are unfair towards kids. We're just trying to live our lives and stay comfortable! Hopefully the teachers and principals listen to us students more about changing some of these outdated and ridiculous rules. Having a few less restrictions would make going to school a lot more fun and enjoyable. Let kids be kids!篇3Unfair Rules at My SchoolMy name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School. I really like my school and my teachers are mostly nice, but there are some rules that just aren't fair at all. It makes me so mad when I think about them! The first unfair rule is about our school lunches. We have to eat everything on our tray, even if we don't like it. If there's something gross like mushy peas or soggy tater tots, we still have to eat it all before we're allowed to go play at recess. I've seen kids crying at the lunch table because they couldn't finish their veggies. That's just mean! Maybe if the cafeteria food was actually good, we'd be happy to eat it all. But most of the time it's really yucky.Another unfair rule is about the playground equipment. The big kids from 4th and 5th grade get to use the good stuff like the rock climbing wall, the zipline, and the really fun spider web climber. But the little kids in kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade aren't allowed on any of that cool stuff. We're stuck with boring baby swings and a tiny little play structure. It's not fair at all! We're plenty big enough to play on the big kid equipment andwe never get a turn. The rule makers must think little kids are babies who can't do anything fun.Probably the most unfairest rule of all is the no running on the blacktop rule. At school we have this huge blacktop area for playing, but get this - we're not allowed to run on it! Can you believe that? They say it's too dangerous and we could fall and crack our heads open. Well newsflash, we're kids! We run around all the time. And we know how to be careful. Nothing bad is going to happen just because we run on the blacktop at recess. Back in the old days, kids could run wherever they wanted and there were way less rules about every little thing.I've heard the teachers talking about making even more unfair rules too. Like a rule where we can't play tag or ball games at recess because someone could get hurt. Well no duh, someone could get hurt walking across a room too if they tripped! Is recess just going to be us sitting in a circle, not allowed to do anything at all? That's basically jail for kids!Oh, and another rule they want to make is where we're not allowed to bring home-baked birthday treats to school anymore because of allergies. So we'll be stuck eating gross packaged snacks from a box instead of yummy homemade cupcakes. Whomakes these rules?? Don't they remember what it was like being a kid?I try to follow all the rules at school, but some of them are just downright unfair and make no sense. Especially rules that take away all the fun of being a kid. I really hope the grown-ups wake up and get rid of those mean rules. Because I'd hate to go to school in a total prison where we can't run, play games, or eat good food. That's no way for a kid to live! We deserve to have at least a little bit of freedom and fun during our days. Come on, school rule makers - be fair!!篇4Unfair Rules at My SchoolThere are a lot of rules at my school and some of them are really unfair! I get that we need rules to keep things safe and under control, but come on, some of these rules make no sense at all. I'm going to tell you about the worst ones that I can't stand. The first really dumb rule is that we aren't allowed to run on the playground during recess. What kind of rule is that? Recess is supposed to be our free time to run around, get some energy out, and just be kids. But the teachers are always yelling at us to"walk, don't run!" It's so boring having to walk everywhere. Where's the fun in that? We're little kids, we need to run and play. Walking is for old people! That rule needs to go out the window.Another unfair rule is the dress code. We have to wear uniforms which is already lame enough - they're so ugly and uncomfortable. But then on top of that we have all these silly extra rules about how we can wear our uniforms. Like, we can only wear white or black shoes, and they can't have any colors or patterns or characters on them. How boring is that? And we can't wear any jewelry except for stud earrings. No necklaces, bracelets, rings, nothing creative or fun. I want to be able to express myself with my style! And don't even get me started on the hair rules - we can't dye our hair any "unnatural" colors and boys can't have long hair. Who comes up with these rules? Let kids have some freedom to look how they want! The food rules are pretty unfair too. We're not allowed to bring any snacks or drinks from home except for a plain bottle of water. We have to eat the gross cafeteria food every single day. And the rules for the cafeteria are so strict - we're not allowed to trade any food, share food, or even get up from our table without raising our hand and asking permission. It's like a prison! Why can't we trade our carrots for someone's cookies if we wantto? Or get up to grab some extra napkins without hassle? I get that they're trying to keep things in order, but it's too much control. And don't get me started on the bathroom rules... We're only allowed to go during set times, like after recess or right before lunch. But what if you really have to go at some other random time? Too bad, you have to hold it until the scheduled bathroom break. That's unfair and unhealthy! They also have a rule that we're not allowed to use the nice bathrooms in the front office, only the gross student bathrooms. Why should the nice bathrooms only be for teachers and visitors? We're at the school just as much as them. Let us use the good bathrooms! The library has some ridiculous rules too. We have to be completely silent in the library at all times - we can't even whisper! And if we have a question, we have to raise our hand and wait for the librarian instead of just walking up and asking. By the time she finally gets to us, we've already forgotten our question. I get that it's a library and you don't want chaos, but there's a difference between being quiet and being silent. A little bit of whispering never hurt anybody. The rule I really don't understand is the one about climbing trees on the playground. We're straight-up not allowed to climbany trees at all, even little baby trees that are just a few feet off the ground. But climbing trees is so fun! As long as you're being safe and not going too high, what's the problem? When I was little, climbing trees was one of my favorite things to do. It's a shame kids these days aren't even allowed to experience that. Those are some of the main unfair rules at my school, but I could probably go on and on. Don't even get me started on the rules for using computers, or going to assemblies, or riding the bus... So many rules that just take the fun out of everything! I understand needing some basic rules for safety, but a lot of these rules are just too strict and controlling. We're kids, let us be kids! Let us run, play, make a mess, get grass stains, and just be free instead of spending all day following all these ridiculous restrictions. School would be a lot more fun and enjoyable without all the unfair rules.篇5Unfair Rules at My SchoolSchool is supposed to be a place where we go to learn and have fun with our friends. But sometimes the rules don't seem very fair. I'm going to tell you about some of the unfair rules at my school that don't make any sense. The first unfair rule is about what we can eat for snacks and lunch. At my school, we're not allowed to bring any kind of junk food or sugary treats. That means no chips, no cookies, no candy, and definitely no soda. Instead, we have to bring "healthy" snacks like fruits, vegetables, or whole grain crackers. Even our birthday treats have to be healthy!I understand that the teachers want us to eat nutritious foods to keep our bodies and brains strong. But sometimes you just really want a chocolate chip cookie or some gummy bears, you know? Eating the same bland, boring snacks every day is no fun at all. I wish they would let us have little treats sometimes, as long as we also eat healthy main foods.Another super unfair rule is that we're not allowed to play any games at recess that involve even mild physical contact. That means no tag, no dodgeball, no Red Rover, none of the classics! We can only play boring games like kickball or four square where you're not allowed to touch each other at all. But kids need to run around and get their energy out! Tag is the best recess game ever. Without it, recess is just standing around being bored. The teachers say it's for our safety and to prevent anyone from getting hurt. But we're not going to break any bones playing a gentle game of tag. As long as there are basic rulesabout no intentionally rough play, we should be allowed to have fun chasing each other around. That's what recess is for!The very worst unfair rule at our school is the strict bathroom policy. We're only allowed to go two times per day - once in the morning and once in the afternoon. If we ask to go any other time, even if it's an emergency, the teachers make us wait for the next scheduled bathroom break. It's so unfair!Sometimes you just really have to go and can't hold it for hours until the scheduled time. Having bathroom emergencies is really uncomfortable and embarrassing. And my friend Benjamin drinks a ton of water every day to stay hydrated, so he always has to use the restroom more frequently. The bathroom policy just isn't reasonable for anyone. There are a few other minor unfair rules, like how we have to walk in perfectly straight lines everywhere we go. Or how we can't read any books during our reading time unless they're approved by the teacher first. But those three major rules about snacks, recess, and bathrooms are definitely the most ridiculous of all.I really wish the teachers and principals would listen to the students more about what rules aren't working for us. Maybe if they remembered what it was like to be a kid, they would makethe rules a little looser and fairer. As long as we're still being safe and healthy overall, we should have a little more freedom to enjoy our snacks, run around at recess, and use the bathroom as needed. School would be so much more fun that way! I'm going to keep voicing my opinions until they finally change those unfair rules.篇6Unfair School RulesSchool should be a place where we can learn and have fun with our friends. But sometimes the rules don't seem fair at all! There are so many dos and don'ts that it's hard to keep track. And a lot of them just don't make sense to me.One rule that really bugs me is the dress code. At my school, we have to wear a uniform with a shirt, tie, pants or skirt, and proper shoes. It's so boring and uncomfortable! The shirts are itchy and the ties are too tight. And don't even get me started on the shoes. They squeeze my toes and give me blisters.I understand having to look neat, but why can't we just wear regular t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers? That's way more comfy. And it lets us express our personalities through our clothes. Some kids like bright colors and patterns, while others prefer darkershades. Some of us like graphic tees with our favorite characters. Isn't it better for kids to be kids instead of having to dress like tiny business people?Speaking of expressing ourselves, there's also a really dumb rule about hair. Girls aren't allowed to dye their hair any "unnatural" colors. So that means no pink, blue, green, or purple locks. But why not?! Those bright colors are so cool and fun. And it's not like they're permanent - the dye washes out after a while. It seems totally unfair to ban something so harmless that makes kids happy. Then there are the ridiculous rules about food. We're not allowed to bring homemade lunches or snacks from home. Instead, we have to buy gross cafeteria food or eat the approved granola bars and fruit from the vending machines. My mom's homemade chicken nuggets and brownies are way better than that rubbery pizza and stale cookies they serve. And it's way cheaper to pack a lunchbox than buy that overpriced cafeteria junk.I can kinda understand wanting to avoid food allergies. But couldn't they just ban specific foods instead of everything homemade? It feels like the school doesn't trust our parents tomake safe lunches for us. Which is silly because parents love us and want to keep us healthy!Another unfair rule is that we're not allowed to use our phones or electronic devices at all during the school day, even during recess and lunch. That's just mean! Sometimes I need a break from all the learning to do something fun on my tablet. Or maybe I want to listen to my favorite music or watch a quick YouTube video to relax. Phones and devices help kids destress, so we should get a reasonable amount of time to use them. The rule I really hate the most though is the one about bathroom passes. We're only allowed to go three times per day! That's not nearly enough. Some days I really have to go more than that. And if I run out of passes, they make me wait which is torture. Isn't that a form of cruel and unusual punishment?! Schools should let kids use the bathroom whenever they need to go so we're not stuck holding it in painfully. It's not just the rules about what we can wear, eat, and do that are unfair though. The rules about how we're punished don't make sense either. If you break a rule, you get detention or your parents have to come in for a conference. Some kids even get suspended or expelled!Does getting in trouble for dumb little things like untied shoelaces or a wrinkled uniform shirt really deserve that? They act like it's this huge crime to not look or act 100% perfectly at all times. Seems really harsh if you ask me. A light scolding would be way more reasonable. At the end of the day, I get that schools need some rules to have order and keep kids safe. No running in the halls, be nice to each other, don't fight or bully - those guidelines are important. But a lot of the other rules controlling what we look like, what we eat, and how we spend free time feel so restrictive and unnecessary.I wish schools could loosen up a bit and let kids be kids. Let us wear what we want, pack fun lunches, have reasonable device time, and go to the bathroom as needed - with way lighter punishments for logistical stuff like that. As long as we're learning, behaving mostly well, and not doing anything dangerous, that should be enough. Prioritize our education and wellbeing over fussing about minor dress code infractions.I know the adults think making tons of super strict rules will somehow make us into better students and people. But to me and my friends, a lot of it feels unfair and miserable. Rules are supposed to teach us right from wrong, but these ones just feelwrong. Looking back at my time in elementary school, I'll probably remember being stressed and sad about getting in trouble over dumb stuff more than anything I actually learned in class.I hope when I grow up, schools will be more relaxed places that focus on the stuff that truly matters - teaching us knowledge and skills while letting us enjoy our childhoods to the fullest. Because no kid should have to suffer through unfair rules that make no sense. We're just trying to learn, not join the military! Let kids be kids while they still can.。
