Everyone in China knows giant pandas. In 1985, China began to send pandas to other countries. Today, there are 23 pandas living in foreign countries. Giant pandas are very quiet and peaceful. And they are also shy animals. They live alone in the forest. To our surprise, the giant panda eats at least 10 kilograms of bamboo each day. Giant pandas are good at climbing trees and swimming. They can live for about 20 years in the wild. Now China has 12 panda reserves to protect them.
