1920年，捷克作家恰佩克在他的作品中首次提出“机器人”这个概念。在将 近一百年后的今天，机器人、智能控制系统、自动化系统已经成为人们生产生活 中的有机组成部分。仅以山东而论，工业生产中使用的智能控制系统、机械手、 智能机器人便屡见不鲜。清洁机器人等家用型的机器人也开始进驻山东家庭。各 种类型的机器人、智能系统使人们目不暇接。不过，根据用途粗分起来，目前世 界上的机器人主要有以下几类：
