2024年五年一贯制专转本考试英语校考

2024年五年一贯制专转本考试英语校考全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Big English Exam AdventureHooray, it's finally time for my big English exam! I've been studying so hard for this test that lets kids like me go from the 5-year special program right into a university. My parents keep telling me how important it is and that I need to do my best. I really want to make them proud!I had to wake up super early this morning to get ready. My mom made me a big breakfast with all my favorite foods to give me lots of energy for the test. As I was eating, I kept going over vocabulary words and grammar rules in my head. Things like past participles, conditional sentences, and relative clauses. Ugh, English has so many little details to remember! Finally it was time to head to the exam site. I double and triple checked that I had multiple pencils, an eraser, and my admission ticket. The test was being held at the local high school, which seemed like a pretty big and intimidating place. My palms were getting sweaty just thinking about it.When we arrived there were lots of other students my age along with their parents. Everyone looked just as nervous as me. We had to get there really early to go through the check-in process and get seated with our testing materials. The exam monitors kept reminding us to double check that we had the right section numbers and seat assignments. I didn't want to make any mistakes!Eventually they let us into the exam room and I found my little desk. It seemed so tiny compared to the big rooms we had practice tests in. I tried to stay calm and focused as they went through MORE instructions and rules about keeping your eyes on your own paper, how to fill out the answer sheets properly, and all that stuff. Finally, after what felt like forever, they told us to begin the reading section. This part actually wasn't too bad since I've always been a strong reader. There were some tricky vocabulary words I didn't recognize, but I've learned lots of strategies for using context clues to figure out the meanings. The questions about the main ideas and details from the passages seemed pretty straightforward.Next up was the writing section where we had to write an essay on some topic about environmental protection. Writinghas never been my strongest area, but I tried my best to construct a clear thesis statement and organize my paragraphs with good examples and explanations. I just had to keep telling myself not to panic about silly little grammar mistakes. The listening comprehension was definitely the hardest part for me. My ears haven't quite adjusted to understanding natural English speech yet. I struggled to catch all the details as the recordings played the conversations and lectures. For the questions I wasn't sure about, I just had to make my best guess. Ugh, I probably got a bunch of those wrong.By the time we got to the speaking section at the very end, I was already feeling pretty mentally drained. But I had to power through and do my best on describing the pictures and answering the open-ended questions. I rambled on a bit for some of them, so I really hope the graders could at least understand what I was trying to say.Whew, finally after what felt like an eternity, the examwas over! My hand was cramped from filling in those tiny bubbles for hours and hours. As I was walking out with my parents, I overheard some of the other kids saying how terribly they thought they did. That didn't make me feel much better about my own performance. Now it's just a nerve-racking waiting game until the scores come out in a couple months. My parents keep trying to reassure me that I'll be fine no matter what happens. Easy for them to say since they're not the ones who had to sit through that marathon test!Part of me just wants to be done with this whole stressful process. But another part of me really, really hopes I get a high enough score to get into a great university program. That would make all this hard work and anxiety totally worth it. Only time will tell, I guess! At least for now I can just relax, play outside, and be a kid again without constantly worrying about English prepositions and subjunctive moods and stuff. No more studying for a little while! Although...maybe I should start reading ahead for next year, just to get a headstart. After all, you can never be too prepared, right?篇2The Big English Test for Big KidsWow, did you hear about the huge English test that all the big kids have to take this year? It's called the 5-year undergraduate program transfer exam and it's super important! My big sister Jessica is going to take it and she's been studying like crazy. She showed me some of the practice questions the other day and they looked really hard. There was all this reading about science and history and stuff that I didn't understand at all. And then there were logic questions where you had to figure out puzzles and patterns. No way could I do those yet!The writing section seemed a little easier though. They gave a prompt about your favorite book and you had to write a whole essay about it. I could probably write a few paragraphs about Green Eggs and Ham at least!Jessica said the speaking part is one of the hardest sections. You have to talk to a computer for like 10 minutes straight about random topics. Could you even imagine?? I can hardly make it through show-and-tell without getting tongue-tied!The listening comprehension looks crazy too. They play all these recordings of people talking about complicated ideas and you have to answer million questions about the details. I'd just get lost after the first 30 seconds, let's be real. But you know what the craziest part is? The whole thing is in English from start to finish! No Chinese at all! I can barely say"hello" and "thank you" in English. I don't know how Jessica and her friends are going to make it through 4 hours of reading, writing, speaking and listening in a completely foreign language. Their brains must be super powerful.I was telling my friend Tommy about it at recess yesterday and he said his older brother is also taking the exam. Tommy said we should make them good luck cards with lots of stickers and drawings to help cheer them on. I think that's a great idea! Maybe if we believe in them really hard, it will help give their brains a boost for test day.Either way, I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about any of that English exam nonsense for at least a few more years. I'll stick to smashing rocks and collecting worms for now. Ya know, kid stuff! Although...it would be kind of cool to become fluent in another language someday. Hey Jessica, can you teach me some more English words this weekend?!篇3The Big Scary English ExamWow, I can't believe the time has come for me to take the big scary English exam! My older brother took it last year when he was trying to get into the 5-year university program, and hesaid it was really hard. I'm kind of nervous, but also excited. I've been studying English ever since I was a tiny kid, and now I get to show what I've learned. My teacher Ms. Wang has been helping us get ready for months. We've been doing lots of practice tests and learning all the grammar rules. There's so many weird things to remember, like when to use "will" instead of "going to", and how to make the passive voice. Sometimes my head spins trying to keep it all straight! The exam has four big sections - listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I think listening will be the hardest part for me. You have to listen really carefully to recordings and conversations and answer questions about them. The recordings always seem to go by so fast! I need to work on my note-taking skills.Reading is probably my strongest area. I've read lots of English stories and even some simple novels. As long as I concentrate and don't zone out, I should be able to handle the reading comprehension questions okay. The writing section makes me a bit worried though. We have to write an essay during the test, and it's tough to organize all my ideas in English still. I'll need to outline carefully.Speaking is the section I'm most excited about! We'll have to answer questions and describe pictures and situations out loud. Even though it's nerve-wracking, I actually like speaking English. I think it's because I've watched so many movies and shows in English over the years. I'm pretty confident with my pronunciation. No matter what happens, I'm going to give this test my best shot. Getting into the 5-year university program would be amazing. It would put me on the path to going to one of the top universities in the whole country after 5 years of hard work. I could study anything I want - maybe coding and robotics, or international business, or environmental science. The world would be my oyster!Ms. Wang keeps telling us not to be scared, that we'rewell-prepared. She says as long as we don't panic and use our test-taking strategies, we'll do great. Things like underlining key words in the questions, making outlines before writing essays, and keeping an eye on the clock. Tests like these are just about following the instructions carefully.I'm trying hard to stay positive, but I can't help feeling a bit of pressure. My whole future sort of depends on this one exam. What if I get test anxiety and freeze up? Or what if I misread aquestion and give a totally wrong answer? One silly mistake could maybe ruin everything. No, no, I shouldn't think that way! Positive thoughts, deep breaths...The big day is coming up this weekend. I've laid out my sharpened pencils and good-luck charms. My mom is going to make my favorite noodle dish as a pre-exam meal. I'll go to bed early and get plenty of rest. When I wake up, I'll do some light exercise to get my blood pumping. Then it'll be time to grab my jacket and head to the exam site.As I step through those classroom doors, I'll push aside any nervous feelings. This exam may be scary, but I'm ready. It's my turn to show what I can do in English after years of studying. All those vocabulary lists, grammar lessons, and practice tests have prepared me. I'm going to stay focused and confident, and pour all my effort into doing my best. After it's all over, winor lose, I'll be proud of myself for trying my hardest. And no matter what, I'm not going to stop working towards my dreams. If I don't make it into the program this time, I'll just try again next year. You can't keep this kid down!Having an unshakeable spirit is important. With determination and perseverance, any obstacle can be overcome. That's what Ms. Wang is always telling our class. So I'll keepstudying, keep improving my English, and keep aiming for the stars. Maybe someday I'll even get to use my English skills to travel the world! How awesome would that be?For now though, I need to pause my fantasies about being an international explorer. There's an English exam with my name on it, coming up very soon. Time to take some deep breaths, relax, and get ready to show what I know. Let's do this!篇4My Big Important English TestHi there! My name is Jimmy and I'm 10 years old. I just took a really big and important test and I want to tell you all about it. It was the English part of the exam for transferring into a five-year undergraduate program after finishing elementary school. Phew, that's a mouthful! But it's a really big deal. You see, in our country, after you finish elementary school you can take this huge test. If you do really well, you can skip going to regular middle school and high school. Instead, you go right into a special five-year college program! That means you finish university super fast. How cool is that? But the test is no joke. It's crazy hard with all kinds of subjects like math, science, history and more. The English part might have been the toughest for me though. I've been studying English for years but this exam was next level! It started off with a listening section. They played all these conversations and lectures and we had to answer multiple choice questions about what we heard. There were talks about science stuff like black holes and biology topics I'd never heard of. Then there were casual conversations that used slang words I didn't know. My ears were ringing by the end!Next up was the reading section, which was just as brutal. We had to read a million passages and answer comprehension questions on everything from classic literature to super technical science journals. Some of those vocabulary words were crazy –I'd never seen half of them before in my life! There were even reading passages that had no question, we just had to summarize the main ideas in our own words. My hand was cramping from all the writing. Then we had to write two essays, one arguing an opinion and one analyzing an issue. For my opinion essay, I wrote about why kids should get less homework. I laid out my arguments and tried to explain with examples and reasoning like they taught us.For the issue essay, I had to analyze both sides of whether zoos are good or bad for animals. I did my best to discuss the pros and cons objectively from multiple perspectives. After that writing marathon, we still had an English grammar and usage section to tackle. We had to identify errors in sentences, re-write incorrect phrases, and show we understood stuff like parallel structure, modifiers, and verb tense consistency. It made my brain hurt just thinking about objects of prepositions and dangling participles and whatnot.By the end of it all, I was exhausted! My pencil was just a stub from filling in so many bubbles and my hand felt like it might fall off after all that writing. Phew!I really hope I did ok on the test. My parents are riding on me to get a good enough score to start that five-year college program. It would be so awesome to become an undergraduate at just 15 years old! I'd be done with my bachelor's degree when I'm 20. Then I could start working or go to grad school at a young age. The possibilities are endless if I can just conquer this crazy English exam.I tried my absolute best, using all the strategies my teachers taught me for listening, reading, writing, and grammar. I budgeted my time, eliminated wrong answer choices, outlinedmy essays, and really gave it my all. I'll be nervously waiting for weeks to get my score back. Wish me luck!In the meantime, I'm gonna take a nice long nap. Then maybe celebrate a little with some video games and pizza. No more English practice for at least a little while! I've got to rest up for middle school entrance exams next year if I don't get into the five-year program. No slacking for us students!Well, that's the full scoop on my big important English exam. It was no walk in the park, that's for sure. But I survived! Here's hoping all that hard work pays off. An elementary kid can dream of becoming an undergrad at 15, right? Catch you later!篇5School is Fun But Tests are No Joke!Hi there! My name is Lucy and I'm a fifth grader at Sunnyview Elementary School. I really like going to school and seeing my friends every day. We have lots of fun playing at recess and doing cool projects in class. But then there's thenot-so-fun part...tests! My teachers are always telling us how important it is to do well on tests, especially the big important ones. This year, some of the older kids at my school have to take a really big test called the English examination for the five-yearintegrated master's program transfer. That's a huge mouthful, I know!My older brother Jeremy is in 8th grade and he has been studying like crazy to get ready for this test. He keeps borrowing my colored pencils and note cards to make flashcards and practice English words and grammar rules. I tried to tease him about being such a nerd, but he got all serious on me. "Lucy, this test could decide my whole future!" he said with a frown. "If I don't do well, I might not get into the high school program I want for preparing to apply to top universities later." Wow, talk about pressure!I felt kind of bad for Jeremy after that. He's such a good student and works so hard. I decided to ask my English teacher Mrs. Roberts to tell me more about this huge important test. She said it's given every year to 8th graders who want to try to get into academically elite high school tracks that lead to five-year master's degree programs at top universities. Only the students with the very best scores get to continue on that path. The test has listening, reading, writing, and speaking sections that are all in English. It covers vocabulary, grammar, comprehending passages, essay writing, pronunciation, and more. Just thinking about all that makes my head spin!Mrs. Roberts said the listening part requires students to listen to recordings of conversations or lectures and answer multiple choice questions showing they understood the main ideas and details. The reading has long passages from books, newspapers, or magazines that students have to read and then answer questions testing their comprehension. For the writing, students have to write one or two full essays in English on an assigned topic in a certain amount of time. Yikes! And for the speaking section, they get asked a bunch of random questions that they have to respond to out loud to show their English fluency. No wondering Jeremy has been drilling vocabulary words 24/7!I could never imagine having to take a test like that at my age. It sounds incredibly difficult and SO much pressure. Jeremy keeps saying if he doesn't get a top score, his dream of getting into an elite university program will be crushed. I'm just glad I'm a kid and only have to worry about taking baby tests like spelling bees and times table quizzes! Phew! I'll be cheering my big bro on from the sidelines though. Fighting, Jeremy! You've got this!Anyway, that's the scoop on the big bad English examination from the perspective of a clueless little kid. I'll leave the real serious test taking to the middle schoolers. For now, I'm justgoing to go play some tetherball and enjoy my last few years of childhood freedom before I'm a test-crazed adolescent too. The struggle is real, my friends! Make sure to get lots of sleep and eat a good breakfast on test days though. Wishing all you test warriors the very best of luck!篇6My Exciting Experience at the 2024 Five-Year Integrated Program Entrance ExamHello, everyone! Today, I want to share with you my incredible experience at the 2024 Five-Year Integrated Program Entrance Exam. It was a special day filled with excitement and challenges. Let's dive into my journey! The day started with butterflies in my stomach. I woke up early, feeling a mix of nervousness and anticipation. I quickly got ready, put on my lucky socks, and had a healthy breakfast to fuel my brain. I knew that the exam was an important step towards my dream of becoming a university student. As I arrived at the exam venue, I was greeted by a sea of enthusiastic young minds. The atmosphere was electric, and I could feel the determination in the air. We were all ready to showcase our knowledge and abilities. The first part of the exam was English. I love English, so I was excited to show off my language skills. The test consisted of various sections, including reading comprehension, grammar, and writing. In the reading comprehension section, we had to read interesting passages and answer questions about them. I tried to stay focused and carefully analyze each passage before choosing the correct answers.Next came the grammar section. It tested our understanding of English grammar rules. We had to fill in the blanks with the appropriate words or phrases. Some questions were a bit tricky, but I remembered the grammar lessons I had learned over the years and gave my best shot. The most challenging part for me was the writing section. We were given a topic and had to write an essay about it. The topic was "The Importance of Friendship." I thought about my best friend and how much they meant to me. I poured my heart into the essay, expressing my thoughts and experiences. I tried to use descriptive words and organize my ideas neatly. Time flew by, and before I knew it, the writing section was over. After a short break, we moved on to the mathematics section. Math has always been a bit tricky for me, but I stayed positive and confident. The questions ranged from basicarithmetic to more complex problem-solving. I took my time, carefully reading each question and using the strategies I had learned. I felt a sense of accomplishment with each correct answer. The final part of the exam was the science section. We were tested on various scientific concepts, including biology, physics, and chemistry. I found the questions fascinating, as they challenged my understanding of the world around me. I recalled the experiments and discussions we had in class and applied that knowledge to the questions. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the exam came to an end. I felt a mix of relief and pride in completing the challenging test. I knew that I had given it my all and that the results would reflect my efforts. Now, as I eagerly await the results, I can't help but reflect on the journey I've been on. The Five-Year Integrated Program has provided me with a solid foundation and prepared me for this moment. The exam was a stepping stone towards my dream of attending university and pursuing my passions. No matter what the results may be, I am proud of myself for taking on this challenge. The exam has taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of continuouslearning. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and the chance to grow as a student and as an individual. So, fellow young learners, always believe in yourself and never be afraid to take on new challenges. With determination and a positive attitude, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Good luck to all of you on your own exciting journeys! That's all for now. Thank you for listening to my story. Remember, dreams do come true if you work hard and never give up!。

2023年江苏五专转本英语统考真题

江苏省2023年五年一贯制高职“专转本”考试英语统考试卷(90分钟)I. Reading ComprehensionPassage OneThe TV play Zheng He is broadcasted on CCTV and the great Chinese traveler comes gradually back to us. It reminds us of a lot of excitement.Zheng He, the Columbus of the east, was an amazing man. He was born in 1371 and, 11 years later, was caught by the army of a rich young man called Zhu Di and made to word for him. Over time the rich man saw that Zheng He was very clever and strong and they became close friends. In 1403, Zhu Di was made the king of China and asked Zheng He to join his new government. The King wanted to learn more about the world and show other countries his power. He ordered many new ships to be built and made Zheng He the leader. Between 1405 and 1433, he led seven sea ships to different parts of the world. He certainly traveled to India, Africa and the Middle East. Some people insist that his ships may have even reached South Africa and Australia. Each trip lasted between two and four years and it is believed he sailed more than 50,000 kilometers during his travels. With 28,000 men and over 300 ships, such as boats for food, water and even soldiers’ horses, Zheng He led a fleet whose size would not be equaled by Europeans for over 500 years. On these trips, he brought with him many Chinese goods like silk and medicine to give to the foreign kings or to sell for local goods. He returned from each trip with boats filled with expensive things such as gold and jewellery, foreign guests and strange animals like a giraffe. It is a pity that we may never learn everything about Zheng He’s travels. After he died in 1433, the new king, who thought these trips were unlucky and cost too much, had them stopped and he burned almost all the books a bout Zheng He’s travels. It is only in the last 50 years, that historians have carefully studied the adventures of the great Zheng He.1. Why did the Chinese King order Zheng He to sail to many different countries?A. To bring new countries under the control of China.B. To show the world his power.C. To receive gifts from the kings of other countries.D. To discover unusual animals.2. What do we know about Zheng He from the passage?A. He sailed across the world.B. Each of the trips lasted one year.C. He died at the age of 62.D. He was a successful soldier.3. Which of the following did Zheng He bring with him from China?A. GoldB. JewelleryC. MedicineD. Giraffes4. What happened after Zheng He died?A. He was forgotten forever.B. His ships were all destroyed.C. The new king wrote a book about himD. Sea trips to foreign countries were stopped.5. In what order did the following happen?a. Zhu Di become the King.b. Zheng He was caught by soldiers.c. The books about Zheng He were all burned.d. Foreigners were invited to China.e. Zheng He visited India.f. New ships were built.A. e-b-a-f-d-cB. b-a-e-d-c-fC. f-a-b-d-c-eD. b-a-f-e-d-cPassage TwoWhen John was growing up, other kids feel sorry for him. His parents always had him weeding the garden, carrying out the rubbish and delivering newspapers. But when John reached adulthood, he was better off than his childhood playmates. He had more job satisfaction, a better marriage and was healthier. Most of all, he was happier. Far happier. These are the findings of a 40-year study that followed the lives of 456 teenage boys from Boston. The study showed that those who had worked as boys enjoyed happier and more productive lives than those who had not. “Boys who worked in the home or co mmunity gained competence (能力) and came to feel they were worthwhile members of society,” said George Vaillant, the psychologist (心理学家) who made the discovery, “And because they felt good about themselves, others felt good about them.”Vaillant’s study followed these males in great detail. Interviews were repeated at ages 25, 31 and 47. Under Vaillant, the researchers compared the men’s mental-health scores with their boyhood-activity scores. Scores were given to such things as part-time jobs, housework, effort in school, and ability to deal with problems. The link between what the men had down as boys and how they turned out as adults was surprisingly sharp. Those who had done the most boyhood activities were twice as likely to have warm relations with a wide variety of people, five times as likely to be well paid and 16 times less likely to have been unemployed. The researchers also found that IQ and family social and economic class made no real difference in how the boys turned out. Working –at any age –is important. Childhood activities help a child develop responsibility, independence, confidence and competence – the underpinnings (基础) of emotional health. They also help him understand that people must cooperate and work toward common goals. The most competent adults are those who know how to do this. Yet work isn’t everything. As Tolstoy once said “One can live magnificently in this world if one knows how to work and how to love, to work for the person one loves and to love one’s work.”6. What do we know about John?A. He enjoyed his career and marriage.B. He had few childhood playmates.C. He received little love from his family.D. He was envied by others in his childhood.7. Vaillant’s team obtained their fin dings by __________.A. recording the boys’ effort in schoolB. evaluating the men’s mental healthC. comparing different sets of scoresD. measuring the men’s problem-solving ability9. Skimmed milk now constitutes more than half of the total household consumption of liquid milk. There has been a decline in the total consumption of cooking and spreading fats, with large falls in butter usage.
