S tep 1:Lead in

1.T:Good morning\ Good afternoon,class.

S :Good morning\ Good afternoon ,Miss Xiao. T: I’m your new English teacher. I like songs. Today,Let’s enjoy an English song,OK? S:OK.

2.Play a game about animals and lead in the word:rooster.

设计意图:

通过一首动物的歌曲,导入到猜谜的环节,通过猜谜导入到故事中的主角,然后带领学生描述这只大公鸡,学习生词comb glossy golden ,并且导入到课题。

Step2:presentation

A: T:Look !The re is a rooster.He thinks he’s the most handsome

animal of all .Today ,he comes to a forest.

red comb

glossy neck

colourful coat

golden feet

Questions: 1.What animals does he meet ?

2.What are the animals doing?

Watch the cartoon and answer the questions.

设计意图:

创设一个故事的情境,让孩子带着问题去观看动画,整体感知这个故事,并通过第一个问题导入其他三只小动物,回答第二个问题时,我设计了一个“read and match”的小练习,不仅和问题相连,而且解决旁白中的生词: beak worm insect。

B:T:The rooster gets to a tree.

设计意图:

同样设计一个问题的情境,让孩子仔细阅读场景1的内容,然后带着学生梳理场景1,带读场景1的对话.

C:T:The rooster gets to a park. He sees a bee.Then he gets to a lake .He sees a frog.

设计意图:让孩子带着这些问题去阅读课文,这样他们读的时候就会有目的性,读得更认真。通过1-2两个问题学习生词ugly belly ,通过3-5这三个问题板书故事中的主线,顺利过渡到下一个环节。

D:T:They have no time to compare with the rooster.So the rooster feels sad and cries and cries.

设计意图:让孩子带着问题去仔细听场景4的对话,回答这些问题,学习文章的主题:hard-working be helpful to others,并且板书。

E:The rooster feels ashamed and lowers his head.

Let the students answer the questions.

设计意图:这样的设计让学生能够很清析地看出大公鸡的这两次的心里变化,从而带领学生看板书,把文章的大意梳理出来。

F:发给学生表演的剧本,让孩子看剧本表演这个故事,进一步的学习这个故事。最后让学生互相讨论,通过这个故事学到了什么道理,从而导入“We should cherish diligence and kindness, instead of outlook.”这句名言。

Step3: Home work:

1.Tell the story to your parents.

2.Act the stories with your friends.

3.Read more stories after class.

设计意图:阅读课的目的是孩子爱上阅读,喜欢阅读,从而热爱阅读。

Step4:Blackboard design:

设计意图:这样设计的目的是让学生能够根据板书,能够熟练地复述课文。
