七选五，本质上是“逻辑分析”，逻辑和情感，是语言学习的两个核心

第一步：分析7个选项的逻辑

A. While all of them are useful（暗含转折）

B. Whatever you’re looking for（暗含让步）

C. If you’re experimenting with a color（条件）

D. Small color choices are the ones we’re most familiar with（陈述，无明显逻辑。无逻辑关系，也是逻辑关系的一种，就像数学中的“0”）

E. It’s not really a good idea to use too many small color pieces（陈述）

F. So it pays to be sure, because you want to get it right the first time （因果）

G. Color choices in this range are a step up from the small ones in two major ways（并列，two major ways）

注意：分析逻辑，绝对不是说，只要分析逻辑，就可以完成7选5的解答。逻辑的前提还是句意可以理解。只不过，句意理解的能力，在阅读、完形填空、短文改错等部分，已经掌握。换言之，7选5的逻辑类题目学习，在高考英语知识体系的学习中，居后。

第二步，文章分析，逐段进行，先看大意，再看逻辑

第一段：

Color is fundamental in home design——something you’ll always have in every room. A grasp of how to manage color in your spaces is one of the first steps to creating rooms you’ll love to live in. Do you want a room that’s full of life? Professional? Or are you just looking for a place to relax after a long day? 36 , color is the key to making a room feel the way you want it to feel.

36题之前的内容，就说“颜色”是设计的基础，然后给出了几种类型，之后的内容说，颜色很重要。这是典型的“让步逻辑”，就是说，有很多种，不管喜欢哪一种，颜色都很重要。

选择B选项，Whatever you’re looking for，让步逻辑

第二段：

Over the years, there have been a number of different techniques to help designers approach this important point. 37 , they can get a little complex. But good news is that there’re really only three kinds of decisions you need to make about color in your home: the small ones, the medium ones, and the large ones.

37题后面的第一个词“they”，是一个非常重要的词。代词的学习，本身不是很复杂的语法知识点，但是代词和名词的单复数，体现着英

语的主谓一致的逻辑性。有一个they，首先就要明白它是指代什么的，本段是指代techniques。同时，这个句子有明显的转折关系，因为后半句说负面的内容，a little complex。

所以选择A，While all of them are useful，这里的they也是指代complex

第三段：

38 . They’re the little spots of color like throw pillows, mirrors and baskets that most of us use to add visual interest to our rooms. Less tiring than painting your walls and less expensive than buying a colorful sofa, small color choices bring with them the significant benefit of being easily changeable.

这一段，主要讲small color，后面的内容都是叙述性的内容，逻辑关系为“陈述”。

选择D选项，Small color choices are the ones we’re most familiar with。

第四段：

Medium color choices are generally furniture pieces such as sofas, dinner tables or bookshelves. 39 . They require a bigger

commitment than smaller ones, and they have a more powerful effect on the feeling of a space.

这一段讲medium color，与small color相关的内容都可以不选择了。39题后面的内容，句子结构是典型的A and B结构。

选择G选项Color choices in this range are a step up from the small ones in two major ways，并列关系。

第五段：

The large color decisions in your rooms concern the walls, ceilings, and floors. Whether you’re looking at wallpaper or paint, the time, effort and relative expense put into it are significant. 40 .

这一段讲large color，medium和small color都可以选择了。40题前面部分说expense和effort都很significant，后面就需要一个逻辑关系。

选择F选项，So it pays to be sure, because you want to get it right the first time。确定好，一次放对，很重要。

没有选择的选项是C和E两个选项，
