Unit 1 What’s the matter ? （Period 1 ）

学情分析：本节课的教学对象是八年级学生。八年级在初中阶段起着承上启下的作用，学生已掌握了一些英语基础知识，但综合运用语言的能力和习惯还没形成，从英语文章中获取信息和用英语表达自己想法的能力还有待提高。他们正处于由感性向理性的转型期，学习中他们依然喜欢从游戏或活动中获取知识。教学中老师要根据学生这些特征，遵循循序渐进的原则，化难为易让他们轻松愉快地掌握知识。

Teaching objectives
