另外,两班学生在情感态度、学习策略和文化意识方面还存在诸多需要进一步解决的问题。

Before the class:Let’s chant. Review Present Progressive Tense
Step 1 Greetings and Warming-up
1.Greet the students as usual.
2.Review:
1)Guessing Game: Ask one student to do some actions and ask others to guess what he/
she is doing.
I’m reading a newspaper.
I’m eating food now.
I’m listening to a CD now.
I’m playing the guitar now.
2. Ask and answer: Show some pictures on the scene and ask the students what he/ she
is doing or what they are doing. After that, the teacher will introduce the topic “weather”.
There is a competition between the groups. If the student get the right answer, his/ her group can get a star.
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. Present the five new words by showing the pictures of weather.

2. While-listening:
1)Listen and cirle the city names in the form.
2) Listen again and write these city names in the boxes above.
Play the recordings for the students twice, and then check the answers by giving the chances to the teams who put up hands first. Read the conversations group by group.

1)Then read the tapescripts after the tape.
2) Role-play the conversations.
