1Water is very important to us.Without water, people will die.Animals and plant need water, too.But water is becoming less and less.We must do something to save it.For example, turn off the tap,if you don’t it.After washing vegetables,we can use the water to water the plant. Also, don’t wash your hands for a long t ime.Remember not to waster water or pollute it.Save water, save our earth!let’s take action now!爱护水资源的英语作文篇2The world is not only hungry, but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earth's surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes, underground , and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted. However, as things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. But our need for water is increasing rapidly-- almost day by day. Only if we take steps to deal with this problem now can we avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. A limited water supply would have a bad effect on agriculture andindustry. Let me give you just one small exampie of how necessary water is to industry. Did you know that to produce a single ton of steel, it takes about 91, 000 liters of water? We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of the first steps we should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us, the systems are as important as the spacecraft.爱护水资源的英语作文篇3Tree are very important in our life. They are the biggest and oldest living things on earth. Many things comes from trees ,for example ,the wood in your pencil and the paper in your notebook.Tree can fight pollution ,they can cool and clean the air.Tree can also communicate with one another to protect themselves from insects. But now trees are in great danger.People cut down and burn them every year.Trees are our friends.Let’s try our best to plant more trees and protect them.爱护水资源的英语作文篇4Water is very important for our life. Every day we use water to drink, too cook and to wash. Water is necessary for all plants. They need water to grow. People can’t live without water.Plants will die without water. It is important to all living things. However, many people pollute lakes and rivers with waste water, so we must stop some people or some factories from wasting water or polluting water and help keep the water clean. At the same time we should save as much water as possible.爱护水资源的英语作文篇5“爸~又停水了~!”这熟悉的一句在乡下是家常便饭;但在都市却像是一场灾难。

In this way, it is a good treat for life and no years.关于珍爱生命的英语演讲稿范文篇3Recently, a professor of philosophy in the United States has written a book called Money and the Meanlng of Life. He has discovered that how we deal with money in our day-to-day life has more meaning than we usually think. One of the exercises he asked his students to do is to keep a record of every penny they spend for a week. From the way they spend their money, they can see what they really value in life.He says our relation with others often becomes clearly defined when money enters the picture. You might have a wonderful friendship with somebody and you think that you are very good friends. But you will know him only when you ask him to lend you some money. If he does, it brings something to the relationship that seems stronger than ever before. Or it can suddenly weaken the relationship if he doesnt. This person may say that he has a certain feeling, but if it is not carried out in the money world, there is something less real about it.People just have an idea of making more and more money, but what is it for? How much do I need for any given purposes in my life7 In his book, the professor uncovered an important need in modern society: to bring back the idea that money is an instrument rather than the end. Money plays an important role in the material world, but expecting money to give happiness may be missing the meaning of life.。

珍爱生命之水英文演讲稿
珍爱生命之水英文演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen, 。
Good morning. It is my great honor to stand here and share with you the importance of cherishing the precious resource of water, which is the source of life.Water is the essence of life. It is the foundation of all living things on earth. Without water, there would be no life. It is essential for the existence and survival of all living organisms, including humans, animals, and plants. Water is not only crucial for our physical health, but also for our mental and emotional well-being. It is a vital component of our daily lives, and we cannot afford to take it for granted.Unfortunately, the world is facing a water crisis. Many regions are suffering from water scarcity, and millions of people do not have access to clean and safe drinking water. The overuse and pollution of water resources have led to a severe shortage of water in many parts of the world. It is a pressing issue that requires immediate attention and action. As individuals, we have a responsibility to conserve and protect water. We must be mindful of our water usage and avoid wastage. Simple actions such as fixing leaky faucets, taking shorter showers, and using water-saving appliances can make a significant difference. We should also be conscious of the products we use and their impact on water resources. By choosing eco-friendly and sustainable products, we can reduce the pollution of water and contribute to the preservation of this precious resource. In addition to individual efforts, collective action is also essential. Governments, organizations, and communities must work together to develop and implement effective water management policies and practices. Investment in water infrastructure, conservation programs, and water treatment facilities is crucial to ensuring access to clean and safe water for all.Education and awareness are key to addressing the water crisis. By raising awareness about the importance of water conservation and the impact of water pollution, we can inspire people to take action and make a positive change. Through education, we canempower individuals to become responsible stewards of water and advocates for sustainable water management. In conclusion, water is a fundamental element of life, and it is our duty to cherish and protect it. By recognizing the value of water and taking proactive measures to conserve and preserve it, we can ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. Let us all work together to safeguard the precious resource of water and create a world where everyone has access to clean and safe water. Thank you.。

The shortage of drinking water has becoming a serious problem in many parts of our country. As a student, we should save water in our everyday life so as to reducethe effect of the drinking water shortage. Saving water should be the responsibility of every student. As a student, what can we do in our daily life to save water?First, we should realize the problem of drinking water shortage. Most of the times we waste water because we do not realize the problem. Once we have realized the problem we will do all that we can to save water in our life.Second, we can buy things that are water saving such as washing machines which are water saving. In this way , we can use less water doing the same thing than before thus saving a lot of water.Third, we can make use of waste water. Often, waste water are not fully used before they are poured off. We can reuse the water in many ways. For example, the water left after washing vegetables can be used to drop plants or to clean the floor. In a word, saving water is very important and we should do as much as we can to save water in our everyday life.节约用水英文演讲稿范文篇3We are paying more attention on many environmental problems we made before, one of them is the water emergence. Long time ago, we never noticed that we are in a situation that the water on the earth is less than before, and the consequence is continuing. Until recently, we have started to acknowledge that we should make the bigger efforts to save water. Therefore, so save water from every single person is important. That is why we should save water at home. If every one of us saves water at home, then the water saved together would bea huge amout. And I have some suggestions following: we could cycle the water we just used them to wash clothes to water the plants or to rush the toilet; when we wash our hands, we could turn the tap off forthe moment we put soap on our hands etc. So if we want to save water sincerely, we could save it at home .节约用水英文演讲稿范文篇4As we all know, the earth is a planet almost covered by water, and it is water made every thing on the earth lively.water is also one of the important part of our environment.though,is there really so much water for us to clean,to produce many things,to play with? how much water are there on the earth then?most of the water is in the oceans or locked away as ice.the largest volumes of fresh water are stored underground as groundwater, imagine there is only one barrel of water in the world, then there is only a spoon of it on the land, and the water we can use is only a drop of it.now i have to remind all of you here that the single drop of water is never as clean as before,it has been polluted severely by our human beings. There is a very beautiful river in paris.it is the seine,it runs across the city, people drink coffee, chat on the bank in the day,at night, they enjoy the beautiful scenery in the boat, songs from the river fly into the sky made the river more attractive, the seine is a famous symbol of france;on the west coast of pacific ocean there lies the modern city shanghai, another river which used to be a very important transportation route runs through the center of the city, people respected and regard it as"mother".it is the"suzhou river, but l believe that few of you would sit beside it,people will be scattered by the terrible smell of water when walk by.i have to say it is extremely dirty! and we all know that a lot of beautiful rivers in the world also are sharing the same fate with suzhou river. who is the devil? i cant help asking. Many human activities and their by-products have thepotential to pollute water. please have a look along the banks of the river, large and small industrial enterprises discharge dirty.Water, tons of garbage were thrown into the river, the water contained so much that it cant clean itself. compared with the dramatic development in many sides of shanghai, the suzhou river has become a black point of the appearance of city.Fortunately, the government has control the situation now, we are happy to see some parts of the river has become clean again, and we even can find fish sometime. The unique earth is the only planet full of lives, the water is just like the blood in the active body, protecting water is saving ourselves. not to waste a single drop of water, otherwise, the only drop of water we could keep in the future would be our tear!My dear friends, mankind still faces a great difficulty in solving the problems of the environment and development, and there is a grand task to perform and along way to go. the middle school students in china will always cooperate with the young people of the world to protect the environment.。

Although about three-quarters of the global area is covered with water, only one percent can be used. Lack of freshwater resources is a common problem in the world. One of the reasons is that the global freshwater resources have a uneven distribution. And the other reason is wasting water.

惜生命之水,护绿水青山主题英语作文
惜生命之水,护绿水青山主题英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Water, The Elixir of Life: Protecting Our Blue Planet's LifebloodAs students of this wondrous planet we call home, it is our solemn duty to cherish and safeguard the very essence that sustains all life - water. From the gushing streams that carve majestic canyons to the vast oceans teeming with biodiversity, water is the lifeblood that courses through the veins of our Earth, nurturing ecosystems and sustaining countless species, including our own.In this era of unprecedented environmental challenges, the preservation of our water resources has become a pressing imperative. We must embrace a profound reverence for this precious liquid, recognizing its intrinsic value and the intricate web of life it supports. Each drop that falls from the sky or bubbles forth from a spring is a testament to the remarkable cycle that replenishes and renews our planet's water supply.Yet, as we gaze upon the shimmering lakes and roaring rivers that grace our landscapes, we cannot ignore the harsh reality that threatens their very existence. Human activities, driven by a myopic pursuit of progress, have inflicted grievous wounds upon these aquatic treasures. Rampant pollution, unchecked industrialization, and unsustainable agricultural practices have tainted once-pristine waters, transforming them into toxic wastelands devoid of life. The consequences of our disregard for water's sanctity are far-reaching and grave. Entire ecosystems have been decimated, their delicate balances irreparably disrupted. Species that have inhabited these waters for millennia now face the specter of extinction, their habitats rendered uninhabitable by our careless actions. Even our own well-being is imperiled, as contaminated water sources breed disease and deprive communities of access to this fundamental human right. It is a sobering truth that water scarcity looms on the horizon, a specter that haunts both developed and developing nations alike. Increasing demand, fueled by population growth and unsustainable consumption patterns, has placed unprecedented strain on our finite freshwater reserves. Aquifers are being depleted at alarming rates, rivers are running dry, andonce-mighty glaciers are retreating, their icy tongues retreating from the valleys they have etched over eons.In the face of such daunting challenges, it is all too easy to succumb to despair, to resign ourselves to the inevitability of a world parched and bereft of life-giving waters. Yet, we must resist this fatalistic mindset, for within each of us lies the power to catalyze change, to reverse the tide of degradation and embrace a future where water flows freely and abundantly. Our path forward begins with education, for knowledge is the wellspring from which action springs. We must endeavor to understand the intricate workings of the water cycle, the delicate equilibrium that sustains it, and the myriad ways in which our actions disrupt this balance. Only through such understanding can we forge a deep and abiding respect for water, recognizing its intrinsic worth and the profound debt we owe to its life-giving properties.Armed with this knowledge, we must then commit ourselves to individual and collective action. In our daily lives, we can adopt water-conscious practices, conserving this precious resource and minimizing our footprint on the environment. Simple acts, such as reducing water waste, investing inwater-efficient appliances, and embracing sustainable agricultural techniques, can collectively yield profound impacts. But our efforts must extend beyond the personal realm, for true change requires a concerted, global endeavor. We must urge our leaders and policymakers to prioritize water conservation and protection, enacting legislation that safeguards our water sources and mandates sustainable practices across all sectors. International cooperation and collaboration are paramount, for water knows no borders, and the challenges we face transcend national boundaries.Furthermore, we must embrace innovative technologies and solutions that can alleviate the strain on our water resources. From advanced desalination techniques to cutting-edge wastewater treatment facilities, the ingenuity of human minds holds the key to unlocking a future where water scarcity is but a distant memory.Yet, our crusade to protect water cannot be waged in isolation, for water is inextricably linked to the health of our entire planetary ecosystem. The pristine forests, verdant meadows, and towering mountains that grace our landscapes play a crucial role in regulating the water cycle, acting as naturalreservoirs and filters that replenish our aquifers and purify our streams. As such, our efforts to safeguard water must be accompanied by a steadfast commitment to preserving and restoring the natural habitats that sustain it. We must embrace sustainable land management practices, curbing deforestation, soil erosion, and the encroachment of human activities into delicate ecosystems. By nurturing the intricate tapestry of life that encompasses our planet, we can ensure that the water cycle remains intact, a perpetual dance of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. In this noble endeavor, we must draw inspiration from the wisdom of those who have come before us, the indigenous communities whose harmonious coexistence with nature has endured for millennia. Their reverence for water, their understanding of its sacred role in sustaining life, and their holistic approach to environmental stewardship offer invaluable lessons that we would be wise to heed.As we forge ahead, let us be emboldened by the knowledge that our actions today will echo through generations yet unborn. The decisions we make, the sacrifices we undertake, and the legacies we leave behind will shape the world our children andgrandchildren inherit. Do we wish to bequeath to them a parched and barren landscape, where water is a scarce and coveted commodity? Or shall we strive to bestow upon them a vibrant, flourishing world, where clear streams meander through verdant valleys, and mighty rivers flow unimpeded to the sea?The choice is ours, and the weight of responsibility rests squarely upon our shoulders. Let us embrace this mantle with conviction and resolve, for in doing so, we honor the sanctity of water, the very essence that has nurtured life on this planet since the dawn of creation. In the end, our reverence for water is not merely a matter of practical necessity, but a profound spiritual duty. For in revering water, we revere life itself, acknowledging our inextricable connection to the vast, pulsating web of existence that encompasses our world. Let us heed the call of the babbling brooks and the crashing waves, their timeless melodies beckoning us to action, urging us to protect and cherish that which sustains us all.For in safeguarding water, we safeguard the future of our species and the myriad lifeforms with whom we share this precious planet. Let this be our legacy, a testament to our generation's unwavering commitment to preserving the verylifeblood of our world, ensuring that the waters of life flow eternally, nourishing and sustaining all that inhabits this, our beloved home.篇2The Precious Liquid of Life: Protecting Our Green Mountains and Clear WatersWater is life's elixir, the fundamental essence that sustains all living beings on this planet we call home. From the lush rainforests to the arid deserts, from the mighty rivers to the vast oceans, water's presence is an undeniable force that shapes and nurtures our world. As students, it is our responsibility to understand the profound significance of this precious liquid and to take action in preserving its purity for generations to come.Growing up, many of us have been fortunate enough to witness the beauty of nature in its purest form – crystal-clear streams meandering through verdant valleys, lakes reflecting the majesty of snow-capped peaks, and waterfalls cascading with a thunderous roar. These natural wonders are not just picturesque landscapes; they are living, breathing ecosystems that rely on the delicate balance of water to thrive.Sadly, human activities have taken a toll on the once pristine waters that sustain our planet. Industrialization, urbanization, and unsustainable agricultural practices have introduced pollutants, chemicals, and waste into our water sources, threatening the very fabric of life. It is a harsh reality that we must confront, for the consequences of our actions extend far beyond our own lifetimes. As the future stewards of this planet, we must embrace a mindset of environmental consciousness and take tangible steps to protect our green mountains and clear waters. Each of us holds the power to make a difference, no matter how small our actions may seem. One of the simplest yet most impactful ways to contribute is by adopting water conservation practices in our daily lives. This could involve taking shorter showers, turning off the tap while brushing our teeth, and being mindful of our water usage in everyday activities. Every drop saved is a drop preserved for the future.Furthermore, we must become advocates for sustainable development and responsible waste management practices. By supporting initiatives that promote renewable energy sources, efficient water treatment systems, and proper disposal ofhazardous materials, we can reduce the strain on our water resources and ensure their longevity.Education plays a crucial role in our quest to protect our green mountains and clear waters. As students, we have the opportunity to learn about the intricate relationships between water, ecosystems, and human activities. By gaining a deeper understanding of these interconnected systems, we can make informed decisions and inspire others to join us in this noble cause.Imagine a world where every river runs clear, every lake shimmers with pristine beauty, and every stream nourishes the verdant landscapes it flows through. This is not a mere dream, but a reality we can create by working together as a global community, transcending borders and uniting under the common goal of preserving our planet's most precious resource.Let us become the generation that breaks the篇3The Precious Gift of Water and NatureAs a student, I have always felt a deep connection to the wonders of the natural world around me. From the majestic mountains that tower over our landscapes to the life-givingrivers and streams that flow through our valleys, the beauty of Mother Nature is a constant source of inspiration and awe. However, in recent years, I have become increasingly aware of the fragility of this delicate balance and the urgent need to protect and cherish our most precious resources – water and the lush green environments it sustains.Water is the very essence of life on our planet. It is the lifeblood that flows through every living creature, nourishing and sustaining us from the moment we take our first breath. Without water, our world would be a barren, desolate place, devoid of the vibrant colors and teeming life that make our planet so unique and special. Yet, despite its vital importance, we often take this precious resource for granted, carelessly squandering and polluting the very source of our existence. As I look around at the world today, I am deeply concerned by the alarming rate at which our water resources are being depleted and contaminated. Rampant industrialization, unsustainable agricultural practices, and a general disregard for the fragile ecosystems that support life have all contributed to the degradation of our once pristine waterways. Rivers that once flowed clear and pure are now murky and polluted, their waters tainted by toxic waste and chemical runoff. Lakes and reservoirsthat once teemed with aquatic life are now stagnant and lifeless, their once-vibrant ecosystems suffocated by the choking grip of pollution. But the consequences of our neglect extend far beyond the boundaries of our waterways. The health of our rivers, lakes, and streams is inextricably linked to the well-being of the forests, mountains, and lush green landscapes that surround them. These natural wonders form an intricate web of life, each element dependent on the other for survival. When we allow our water sources to become contaminated and depleted, we also condemn the entire ecosystem to a slow, agonizing death.I have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of this ecological imbalance. Once-verdant forests, their canopies teeming with life, now stand skeletal and lifeless, their branches stripped bare by the relentless march of deforestation and the scourge of climate change. Majestic mountains, their peaks once crowned with glistening snow and glacial ice, now stand barren and forlorn, their once-imposing forms slowly crumbling under the weight of environmental degradation. It is a sobering sight, one that fills me with a profound sense of sadness and an urgent call to action. For too long, we have turned a blind eye to the consequences of our actions, contentto consume and exploit the natural resources around us without regard for the long-term consequences. But the time has come for us to wake up and take responsibility for the world we are leaving behind for future generations. We must embrace a new paradigm, one that recognizes the intrinsic value of water and the environments it sustains. We must adopt sustainable practices that prioritize conservation and responsible stewardship over mindless consumption and exploitation. We must invest in innovative technologies and infrastructure that protect our water sources from pollution and ensure their efficient and equitable distribution to all who depend on them. But perhaps most importantly, we must cultivate a deep sense of reverence and respect for the natural world around us. We must teach our children to cherish the beauty and bounty of our green mountains and blue rivers, instilling in them a sense of wonder and appreciation for the delicate balance that sustains all life on this planet. It is a daunting task, one that will require the concerted efforts of individuals, communities, and nations alike. But it is a challenge we must embrace with unwavering determination anda sense of urgency. For the fate of our planet, and the future of countless generations to come, hangs in the balance. As I look to the future, I am filled with hope and optimism. I see a world where clean, abundant water flows freely through our rivers and streams, nourishing the lush green landscapes that surround them. I see majestic mountains, their peaks adorned with pristine glaciers and snow-capped peaks, standing as sentinels of nature's enduring majesty. And I see thriving ecosystems, teeming with life and biodiversity, each element playing its vital role in the intricate tapestry of our planet'swell-being.But more than anything, I see a world where we, as the stewards of this precious gift, have embraced our responsibility to protect and cherish the natural wonders around us. A world where we have learned to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature, respecting its boundaries and cherishing its bounty. A world where the future generations can look back and say, "They understood the value of our green mountains and blue rivers, and they fought to preserve them for us."It is a vision worth fighting for, a legacy worth leaving behind. And as a student, I am determined to play my part in making thisdream a reality. For in the end, the fate of our planet, and the future of all life that calls it home, rests in our hands.。
