Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device, as you may damage the device.1.Connect the charger to a walloutlet.2.Connect the charger cable to thecharger connector. The redindicator light is on whilecharging. It may take a whilebefore charging starts. Ifcharging does not start,disconnect the charger, plug it in again, and retry. Charging thebattery fully may take up to 1hour and 30 minutes.3.When the battery is fullycharged, the indicator lightturns to green. Disconnect thecharger from the headset andthe wall outlet.The fully charged battery has power for up to 6 hours and 30 minutes of talk time or up to 150 hours of standby time. However, the talk and standby times may vary when used with different compatible Bluetooth devices, usage settings, usage styles, and environments. When battery power falls low, the headset beeps, and the red indicator light starts to flash. In some devices you may need to make the connectionseparately after pairing. Youonly need to pair the headsetwith your device once.If the pairing is successful, the headset beeps and appears in the device menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices. All rights reserved.Basic usePlace the headset on the ear To use the headset with the earloop, insert the headset into the catch (9) and gently push it downwards until it locks into place. Slide the earloop behind your ear starting from the top (10), rotate the earloop for the best fit, and push the earloop toward your mouth (11). If you wear an earring, ensure that it is not accidentally attached to the earloop. The earloop has a strap that allows you to wear the headset on your neck. To use the headset without the earloop, detach it (12), and plug the earpiece into your ear.Change the coverThe headset may be supplied with front covers in different colors. To change the cover, pull the current cover starting from the top (13), and push the new cover into place. Call handlingTo make a call, use your mobile device in the normal way when the headset is connected to the device. If your device supports last number redialing with the headset, press the answer/end key twice while no call is in progress.If your device supports voice dialing with the headset, press and hold the answer/end key when no call in progress, and proceed as described in the user guide of your device.Copyright © 2007 Nokia. To reject an incoming call, press the answer/end key twice.To adjust the headset volume, press the volume key up or down.To mute or unmute the microphone, press the middle of the volume key. All rights reserved.Battery informationYour device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out. Recharge your battery only with Nokia approved chargers designated for this device.Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the device when not in use. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime.
