多数儿童乐感,节奏感强,他们学一首歌往往比学一段话容易。

在小学英语教学中,歌曲、歌谣有着不可替代的作用。

只要教学方法正确,将歌曲、歌谣引入小学英语课堂教学会取得意想不到的效果。

关键词:歌曲、歌谣、课堂教学在常规的英语教学中,我们一直强调听、说、读、写四种技能的结合。

而歌曲、歌谣一直是我国外语教学中一个被忽视的源泉,大多数学生在学了几年的英语之后,竟然不能完整地唱出一首英文歌曲,在英语课堂中更是少之又少的事。

在小学英语教学中,如果能充分发挥歌曲教学的作用,就能创设轻松的英语学习氛围,有利于培养学生对英语节奏的敏感度,培养听说能力,增强对字词的理解,扩大词汇量。

由此,一方面教师做到寓教于乐;另一方面学生也真正体会到了学习英语的乐趣,从而提高了英语教学质量。

陶行知说过:“我们必须变成‘小孩子’,才配做小孩子的‘先生’”。

主要围绕话题What’s he like?引出A、B、C三个板块的内容。

A、B部分呈现两组情景对话、一些重点词汇和一篇阅读小短文等新知识点,C部分是以讲趣味故事形式巩固或延展知识面。

本单元重点学习描述人物相貌特征和个性特点的语言,学习形容词放在系动词be(am,is,are)后面作表语,与系动词be构成系表结构,以及形容词放在名词前面作定语的用法,重点呈现核心句型Who's your art teacher?Mr Jones。
