1、Your friend often feels nervous when speaking in front of a large group of people. What suggestions would you like to give to this friend of yours?

One suggestion I would recommend to my friend is to practice in front of a mirror several times before speaking before a live audience.

I think that this will help him relax and be more comfortable with his speaking, posture, and delivery of his speech.

Also, if he practices many times then he will probably memorize most, if not all, of his speech. If he can memorize parts of his speech then it will feel more natural and fluid. Another recommendation would be to speak slowly so that people can understand him.

2 、Your friend is concerned about a presentation he has to give to the class. What advice would you give to help your friend prepare for the presentation.

Example: I would suggest that my friend practice his presentation as much as he can. There is a saying that practice makes perfect and I truly believe this. If he can practice often, he will become more familiar with the material and when he makes his presentation it will feel more natural and fluid.

Also, I would recommend my friend to use note cards. Having a few note cards with helpful reminders of key topics and primary presentation topics will help him stay focused and on-topic so he doesn' t ramble or forget what he wants to say.

3. if a foreign friend of yours plans to study in your country, what suggestion would you like to give him/her?

Example: If a foreign friend of mine plans to make a visit to my country, I will kindly offer him/her two pieces of advice. The first is to getting used to the food here in advance/ahead of schedule because nowhere can you find food as unique as here in my country.

Next suggestion is on learning our language. You don' t necessarily need to be a master, the understanding of daily-use language like greeting, shopping and commuting will do you

good/save you many troubles.
