1. 宾语从句定义
回答：宾语从句是指一个句子做宾语，一般由n./pron.充当，宾语一般在v./prep的后面。

2．使用宾语从句的两种情况及相应的结构：
回答：(1)情况一：表示人类的情感或心理活动的形容词，如：afraid 恐怕/sure 确定的，有把握的/glad 高兴的/sorry 抱歉，其结构是：主语+be + adj. + 宾语从句（名词，代词）
主句是一般现在时的时候，从句可以用任何时态。

e.g. I am afraid I can't come tomorrow.
e.g. I am sure you need an X-ray.
e.g. I am glad you went yesterday.
e.g. I am sorry I didn't come yesterday.
(2)情况二：表示普通意义的动词，如：belive相信/think认为/know知道/ say声称/hope希望，其结构是：主语+这类词+ 宾语从句（名词，代词）

3．在现在完成时中，表示时间的词since, for的区别
回答：since + 时间点/for + 时间段
4．retire, retired, retired
retired adj. 已经退休；retiring adj. 即将退休
