And Sophomore, the 90th Anniversary of Nanchang University, I have actively participated in the volunteer activities of the reception of my schoolfellow ,and after that I did a voluteer tutor to help a junior school student to improve his grades.As a matter of course, I was named the outstanding young volunteer in the celebration again.The volunteering is a spirit,Wearing the volunteer uniform and the volunteer accreditation card, admired by others, I felt a little proud.Meanwhile I also felt a great responsibility falling on my shoulder .however,volunteering would be beneficial to ourselves.Getting involved in volunteering, volunteers will be exposed to a new environment, and we can learn how to work well in a team, and how to improve our interpersonal skills and organizational skills, all of which are critical for their professional growth. And in 15th century, Spain, Holland, France, Britain and other countries were in the competition again and again. In 17th century Holland occupied of Guyana and transferred Guyana to Britain in 1814. And Guyana Officially became a British colony in 1831，named British Guyana. In 1834 Britain was forced to declare the abolition of slavery.In 1953,Guyana achieved internal self-government status. In 1961 the British agreed to the establishment of Guyana autonomous government. In 1966 Guyana became the Commonwealth of IndependentStates, renamed "Guyana". In 1970 there was the establishment of the Guyana cooperation Republic, later renamed the Republic of Guyana. And Guyana became the first Republic of the Commonwealth Caribbean.Next I want to tell about a famous people in Guyana , Arthur Chung, the first Chinese head of state outside China. Arthur Chung was Born in 1918. And he was the first official president of the Republic of Guyana After the independence,officed from 1970 to 1980 .However During his presidency, the president is the symbol of Guyana - heads of state,and the real power was in the hand of Prime Minister Forbes Burnham . Arthur Chung dead in 2008.When comes to the sports ,The major sports in Guyana are cricket, softball and football. Minor sports include netball, basketball, table tennis, boxing,and horse racing . As for me , l love basketball best.in addition ,Guyana host international cricket match as part of the 2007 Cricket World Cup, The new 15,000-seat Providence Stadium, also as Guyana National Stadium, was built in time for the World CupNow,let me introduce the band of the BealtesThe Bealtes was one of the biggest acts in history, they created the biggest in influence on music. John Lennon was considered the leader of the Bealtes since he started the band.He and Paul McCartney began playing together in the Quarrymen in 1957,the lyrics and music for most of their songs were written by them. George Harrison joined them later that year. Before they became The Bealtes,they were also named Johnny and Moondogs, and The Silver Bealtes,joined at times by bandmates including bassist Stuart and drummer Pete ,howover Pete was replaced by Ringo Starr.As a consequence, The Beatles was formally established in 1960, John, Paul, George and Ringo are the most famous and the final four members of the Bealtes.The early Besltes performed shows in Hamburg, Germany and their hometown Liverpool England. The Beales in fact, are a team stand for rock and roll. The Bealtes were a rock music sensation in 1960s and 1970s. During that time, the bealtes published most of their ablums,such as Please Please Me, With the Beatles,A Hard Day's Night, Help, Rubber Soul, The Beatles, and Let It Be. many ablums were very popular. And they filmed the first movie named A Hard Day's Night.The Bealtes changed pop music all the time,with their songs and their sparking personalitties. However , they were no longger performing in public and were beginning to pursue indiividual projects. In December of 1970, Paul brought a lawsuit to dissolve the Bealtes as a legal entity,and the group broke up. Unfortunately ,John was murdured in December , 1980, in New York. And George died of cancer, in November , 2001,in Los Angeles. Paul and Ringo continued to have busy solo careers.
