地图题20个常用句式

1.The pictures illustrate the development of A city over X years.

释义：图片描述了A市在X年间的发展。

说明：用于开篇。

2.The X pictures above show the various developmental changes of the village of A between

19xx and 20xx.

释义：上面的X张图描述了在19xx和20xx年之间A村的发展变化。

说明：用于开篇。

3.The pictures show the alterations of A town between 19xx and present, as well as other

expected changes in the future.

说明：There be结构是地图题最常用表达。但在地图题中切忌反复使用there be句型，否则会使文章显得单一乏味。

例句：Opposite to the market, there was a block of shops sitting on the other side of the road.

6.The village/town was divided into three parts by two major roads.

释义：村庄/城镇被两条相交的马路切分成三片区域。

说明：可用于一条马路切成两区，两条马路切成三区或四区，形象的描述地理结构。7.There is a road/street/avenue cross the village from east to west.
