二、比较级的用法

①双方比较，表示一方超过另一方时，用“比较级十than”的结构表示．This pen is better than that one. You are all younger than me. 可在比较前加表示程度的状语，如：even，a lot，a bit，a little，much，等修：My sister is two years younger than me. He works even harder than before

②双方比较，表示一方不如另一方时: A not as/so 形容词原级+ as B 或：用“less十原级十than”的结构表示．例如：This room is less beautiful than that one．注意：比较级可以与原级互换：如：This room is more beautiful than that one．= That room is not as/so beautiful as this one. = That room is less beautiful this that one

③表示“两者之间较……一个（of the two）”时，常用“the +比较级”结构。如：Mary is the taller of the twins.玛丽是双胞胎中较高的那个。
