查理卓别林的简介查尔斯·斯宾塞·卓别林(Charles Chaplin)，1889年4月16日生于英国伦敦，英国影视演员、导演、编剧。
1915年开始卓别林开始自编自导自演，甚至还担任制片和剪辑。
稍后他加入了埃斯安尼公司，并于1917年出品了《移民》和《安乐街》，1918年他和他的兄弟在洛杉矶开了自己的公司。
1923年，卓别林为这个公司拍了第一部影片《巴黎一妇人》。
1925年的《淘金记》和1928年的《马戏团》为卓别林赢得了学院奖。
1931年因为《城市之光》的首映卓别林来到伦敦。
1936年拍摄电影《摩登时代》。

卓别林看着帽子上的两个窟窿，又对劫匪说，老兄，为了显得更逼真，请你在我的衣服和裤子上各开两枪吧，劫匪又照做了，这时卓别林一看枪里的六发子弹打完了，挥起拳头照着劫匪的头上打去，劫匪当时就晕了，卓别林拿起钱包，喜笑颜开地离开了。
有一次，卓别林来到上海，中国当时很有名的电影演员韩兰根陪他去逛城隍庙，肚子饿了，韩兰根请他去吃芝麻猪油汤圆。
一向机智幽默又见多识广的卓别林这下难住了，他不知道这汤圆是怎么个吃法，一口咬下去，吱地一声，馅汁溅得到处都是。
