共25分。
A节:题型有两种,每次考试选择其中的一种形式。
备选题包括:1)考生根据所给情景写出一篇约100词(标点符号不计算在内)的应用性短文,包括私人和公务信函、备忘录、报告等。
2)考生根据所提供的汉语文章,用英语写出一篇80~100词的该文摘要。
考生在答题卡2上作答,共10分。
B节:要求考生根据所规定的情景或给出的提纲,写出一篇150词以上的英语说明文或议论文。
提示情景的形式为图画、图表或文字等。
考生在答题卡2上作答。
共20分。
英语二2010年起才有小作文,总共考过2次,都是书信,均为两种类型的混合信:2010年是感谢+邀请,2011年是祝贺+建议。
2012年复习重点依然是书信,注意类型的混合搭配。
◆书信类:基本模式书信分为三个部分来写:称呼、正文和签名。

本科阶段的课程大多会比较宽泛,往往是面广而深度不够。
拿我们物流管理专业来说,专业课的课程有十几门,一门一本书,比如说,物流管理啊,供应链管理啊,仓储管理啊,设施选址啊,物流系统工程啊,物流管理信息系统啊,国际物流啊,表面上我们什么都懂,什么都能做,实际上,我们每一门学的都是皮毛,而进入研究生阶段后,使我们能在某一个领域或某一个方向深入下去,从而对该方向能有清晰的认识,准确的把握和深刻的理解,掌握相关的知识和技术,比如国际物流,相信光凭本科阶段一本书是不可能学的很精通的,到研究生阶段可能会研究好几本书,精通国际物流这一方向的方方面面,各个细节,相信找这一方面的工作你就更具有竞争力。
再举个我自己的例子,我跨考历史学专业,历史学在本科阶段就叫历史学,既包括中国历史,也包括世界其他国家的历史,既学古代史,也学近现代史,非常宽泛,但在研究生阶段就可能重点研究某一个国家或某一个时期的历史,某个地区或某几个国家间的国际关系,我将来可能会跟随中东方向的导师学习中东地区的国际关系。
通过两三年研究生阶段的学习,就会站在一个更高的起点上。
话又说回来,从目前的大形势来看,随着中国的快速发展以及高等的普及,社会对个人知识的要求会逐步提高。
也就是说,拥有更高的学历,我们将有更多的机会,更大的发展空间。
2.追逐自己的兴趣,达到专业的高度“兴趣是最好的导师”,因为兴趣,所以专注;因为专注,所以专业;因为专业,所以高能;因为高能,所以高就。

When we go into the pool, it's like we are in another world, yet why should the pool seem stranger than the open air? After all, the pool is human-made, controlled; it should be no more alien than a room. Perhaps the air is stranger than water because we can't breathe it.C. Pascal Bruckner, in his book The Fanaticism of the Apocalypse, traces our anxiety about water to our fear of the void. In the context of the swimming pool, he might say that the water--usually the giver of life--becomes the absence of air, which kills us by filling us up. Join the Club is filled with too much irrelevant detail and not enough exploration of the social and biological factors that make peer pressure so powerful. The most glaring flaw of the social cure as it’s presented here is that it doesn’t work very well for very long. RageAgainst the Haze failed once state funding was cut. Evidence that the LoveLife program produces lasting changes is limited and mixed.There’s no doubt that our peer groups exert enormous influence on our behavior. An emerging body of research shows that positive health habits-as well as negativeones-spread through networks of friends via social communication. This is a subtle form of peer pressure: we unconsciously imitate the behavior we see every day.Far less certain, however, is how successfully experts and bureaucrats can select our peer groups and steer their activities in virtuous directions. It’s like the teacher who breaks up the troublemakers in the back row by pairing them with better-behaved classmates. The tactic never really works. The company, a major energy supplier in New England, provoked justified outrage in Vermont last week when it announced it was reneging on a longstanding commitment to abide by the strict nuclear regulations.Instead, the company has done precisely what it had long promised it would not challenge the constitutionality of Vermont’s rules in the federal court, as part of a desperate effort to keep its Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant running. It’s a stunning move.The conflict has been surfacing since 2002, when the corporation bought Vermont’s only nuclear power plant, an aging reactor in Vernon. As a condition of receiving state approval for the sale, the company agreed to seek permission from state regulators to operate past 2012. In 2006, the state went a step further, requiring that any extension of the plant’s license be subject to Vermont legislature’s approval. Then, too, the company went along.Either Entergy never re ally intended to live by those commitments, or it simply didn’t foresee what would happen next. Certainly, there are valid concerns about the patchwork regulations that could result if every state sets its own rules. But had Entergy kept its word, that debate would be beside the point.The company seems to have concluded that its reputation in Vermont is already so damaged that it has noting left to lose by going to war with the state. The report, by John Houghton of Victoria University in Australia and Graham Vickery of the OECD, makes heavy reading for publishers who have, so far, made handsome profits. But it goes further than that. It signals a change in what has, until now, been a key element of scientific endeavor.The value of knowledge and the return on the public investment in research depends, in part, upon wide distribution and ready access. It is big business. In America, the core scientificpublishing market is estimated at between $7 billion and $11 billion. The International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers says that there are more than 2,000 publishers worldwide specializing in these subjects. They publish more than 1.2 million articles each year in some 16,000 journals.This is now changing. According to the OECD report, some 75% of scholarly journals are now online. Entirely new business models are emerging; three main ones were identified by the report’s authors. There is the so-called big deal, where institutional subscribers pay for access to a collection of online journal titles through site-licensing agreements. There is open-access publishing, typically supported by asking the author (or his employer) to pay for the paper to be published. Finally, there are open-access archives, where organizations such as universities or international laboratories support institutional repositories. Other models exist that are hybrids of these three, such as delayed open-access, where journals allow only subscribers to read a paper for the first six months, before making it freely available to everyone who wishes to see it. All this could change the traditional form of the peer-review process, at least for the publication of papers.1.
