1.MME网络节点，移动管理实体MME（Mobility Management Entity）是3GPP协议LTE接入网络的关键控制节点，它负责空闲模式的UE(User Equipment)的定位，传呼过程，包括中继，简单的说MME是负责信令处理部分。
它涉及到bearer激活/关闭过程，并且当一个UE初始化并且连接到时为这个UE选择一个SGW(Serving GateWay)。
通过和HSS交互认证一个用户，为一个用户分配一个临时ID。
MME同时支持在法律许可的范围内，进行拦截、监听。
MME为2G/3G 接入网络提供了控制函数接口，通过S3接口。

MME的功能：1、接入控制，包括安全和许可控制2、移动性管理，支持具有E-UTRAN能力的用户接入网络，该功能保证了MME对UE当前位置的跟踪和记录3、会话管理功能，包括对EPC承载的建立、修改和释放；与2G/3G网络交互时，完成EPC承载于PDP上下文之间的有效映射；接入网侧承载的建立和释放；根据APN和用户签约数据选择合适路由4、网元选择功能，包括pgw选择，sgw选择，mme/sgsn选择，diameter路由选择2. Uu接口Uu接口UE（User Equipment/用户设备）通过Uu接口接入到WCDMA系统的固定网络部分，Uu接口是WCDMA系统中最重要的接口，主要功能有：（1）广播寻呼以及RRC连接的处理；Uu 接口（2）切换和功率控制的判决执行；（3）处理无线资源的管理和控制信息；（4）处理基带和射频处理信息。
Uu接口从协议的角度可分为以下三个协议层：物理层（L1）、数据链路层（L2）和网络层（L3）。
