1. What kind of music is popular in China?

In China, pop music is probably the most popular genre372. People like something they can dance to.Plus, pop music is really broad. It appeals to lots of different people. You know, pop songs usually have catchy melodies and lyrics373 that are easy to learn and sing along to. They’re just fun to listen to, no matter what your age is.

2. What kind of music do people like at different ages?

When people are young, they like music with a good beat374, like pop or rap. They want something they can dance to or sing along with. But older people like different kinds of music, like folk or jazz375. They also like music that’s very relaxed, like classical music. But music is something you can enjoy at any age. Sometimes it doesn’t matter what the genre is.

3. In your opinion, what kinds of music will be popular in the future?

Well, in the past, pop music was still as popular as it is now. So I think that pop music will have a lot of fans376 in the future as well. Plus, rock and rap are also really popular genres. People love some of those songs. So I think those types of music will continue to be popular in the future.

4. How do you think a song can be successful?

For one, it has to have a catchy melody. You want a song that people will remember. Plus, it should be easy to sing along to. People enjoy songs they can sing to while they’re in the car or even in the shower.A good beat is also important. People always like songs they can dance to.

5. Should record companies focus on making money or good music?

I think that record companies should focus more on making good music. It’s the whole reason they exist, after all377. So they should try to make music that people will love and enjoy. It’ll help them make more money anyways. But if they only focus on money, the quality of their music will suffer378.

6. Can everyone be a singer by training hard?

I don’t think everyone can be a singer. Some people just don’t have the ability. For example, some people are born tone-deaf379, so it’s kind of impossible for them to sing well. But I think that training hard can definitely improve people’s talents. It just might not make them a successful singer.

7. What are the conditions of being a good singer?

I think you have to have a natural gift for it380. Some people can train to be better at singing, but they might not become as good as they want to be. People who are born with a good singing voice381 usually do better. But even if you have that gift, you still have to work hard to improve yourself.
