Aston martin
History with no future is just history. History with a future represents heritage - and at Aston Martin this goes back to the year 1913. Aston martin is founded in1913 by Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin as Bamford & Martin ltd, The Company has developed into an iconic brand synonym with luxury and elegance.
With a century of history, Aston Martin has developed into an automotive icon, a marquee synonymous with luxury, heritage and authentic craftsmanship. Remaining at the forefront of contemporary manufacturing, every car produced embodies design and engineering excellence.
Besides, Aston Martin and James Bond is a combination which has left the indelible mark on popular culture. To celebrate this famous relationship, seven of the movie cars will be on display, including the iconic DB5 from the most recent blockbuster, SKYFALL. The films make more and more people know and love the Aston martin.
As time passed, people were free to choose their loved cars, but the style of Aston martin has remained population. An Aston Martin combines three important elements: power, beauty, soul. Aston Martins are truly special – they always have been and always will be.
Most of the Chinese car owners are very sophisticated in their tastes for cars. They are very exacting in what they want, in what finish they want, in what material they want, and absolutely knowledgeable about the concepts. As advertising said, Aston Martin has chosen the gentleman, and a gentleman also chooses the Aston Martin. Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is one of my favorite cars.
For the latest model year the Vantage range has benefitted from a series of enhancements and detail improvements to build on its existing talents and deliver even more of the thrills of the original car. The first thing you notice however is that the Vantage Roadster is not short on presence. Roof up or down the curves of its bodywork are both graceful and aggressive, with flowing curves leading into sharp creases resulting in a body that appears to have been poured over its wheels.
Under the bonnet lies the thrilling 4.7-litre V8 naturally aspirated engine. With 420bhp on offer there is certainly no shortage of performance, delivered to the rear wheels either by a six-speed manual or seven-speed Sport shift II automatic that combines both smooth shifting in traffic with paddle-activated rapid shifts on demand.
Arguably of even greater benefit are the chassis alterations, comprising of a heavily revised steering which has a new power assistance set-up and a quicker steering rack, dropping the ratio to 15:1 rather than 17:1 for sharper response.
The chassis completes the performance car portfolio too. The upgraded steering impresses right from the start with improved weighting and snappier reactions that pay dividends even in town. But driving on the open road you feel everything that is going on, and you are constantly keyed-in to the car's grip levels - of which there are plenty. You have to work hard to get near to the Aston's limits, the near-perfect weight distribution helping enormously and the result is a car that wants to play along with you does. The two-stage ESP system is always there to help too, should your enthusiasm get the better of you.
Prices start from £84,995, rising to £99,995 for the Vantage S, with that slightly more powerful 430bhp V8. The price discourages a lot of people from purchase, however, also attracts the luxury-hungry Chinese.
Mr. Chen, 31 years old, in December 2012, received a bank loan of 960,000 Yuan to buy the 2 million Yuan worth of Aston Martin white coupe, and he had repaid the loan of 40,000 Yuan per month during 2 years. But now he said he was unable to pay loans. The executive judge contacted him and gave him a week deadline. If Mr. Chen fails to perform its obligations, his car will be auction off. If get it even after losing, I think, I would rather never take possession of it.
Car fans never miss this news, I think. The British luxury carmaker announced earlier this month that it is recalling 17,590 cars globally, including more than 1,000 cars sold in China, after discovering counterfeit plastic material in its accelerator pedal arms.
