电影楚门的世界观后感英语篇1Truman was a man, ordinary, like the life around us. He has many desires, and very easy to meet. Therefore, he sometimes ecstatic, sometimes Rusangkaobi, most of the time the loss depressed, overwhelmed. At this time, there has been a director of genius useless, and he constantly create new stimuli, so that he becomes ups and downs in the long drama, appetizing. Truman happy he would give him time to create some trouble, when in its depressed, then seize the opportunity to open it alive. He made such romantic novels as blonde suddenly appeared in the sight of Truman, his erotic valve open, letting her sudden departure, so the mind fall into a bottomless abyss; he had never met before to Truman "late father" suddenly appeared, to recognize exaggerated comic scenes make it in your eyes, but also make the TV viewing audience tears; he brought Truman's close friends in their emotional bad time to care for him, enlighten He, so that it felt the "Oasis in the Desert" and rebirth of confidence, although the friend is an actor, and is carrying a large segment of lines … …Who admire the film brilliant and arrogant genius director, he leads people to think of God, also saw the weak, tired, helpless and confusion Truman was the hypocrisy of the play again, or for life and the future with optimism when the waves in my heart tosorrow and grief, I could not bear to face - can not bear to face a real "us"!"Life is like a play, movie is like life," so lamented philosopher, but the actors on the stage of life - we, is not always an act of consciousness has it? Or deception and the arrangement of God, selflessly doing meaningless things? Happy, do notEnough to make us love this world; setbacks, not enough to make us abandon this world. God is like the genius as a director, holds a very good degree, he knew that when a blow to us, when we gave a warm fire burned, he allows us to maintain hope in pain, in hope endure pain, the pain making the story as waves, but also making the ratings, the hope is to train and gave us the appearance fees, so we are not so half-way stop play. The end of the movie, Truman is awake, and he told the camera, really the "God" strike played out. Panic talented director, he will lose the audience, he strove to retain Truman, the director told him to leave the control of the world is very dangerous, but Truman was out of that door, walks over to the dark unknown world, he said that the world waiting for him no matter what, he did not care. Buddhism, the "epiphany" one said, and that a complete self-sufficiency of human nature is dead in the dust covering it, it lost. Truman is the insight it seems, he should get back the lost self, the self-contained complete and carefree nature."Diamond Sutra" language: "Where all the phases are all false, if seen in the phase of non-relative, then see the Tathagata." Costume sooner or later to fade, set to be removed sooner or later, when the act is performed in a lively manner, but Do not forget to watch a movie than ever addiction, feel free to let another "I" - the I, off the stage, in the audience, sipping tea, takea look at the stage of "I" and "them", a few drum Under the palm, a few drops of tears flow, understand this, that will insight a. In fact, we not taken the door across what is the relationship? Because our hearts have been cross-out.电影楚门的世界观后感英语篇2As the movie started,Trueman's life was peaceful and warm, filled with happyness,of which we may be envious.Everything went on wheels, such as the first footstep, the first time to go to school, the first kiss and the first marriage. This life should be pretty comfortable, and it's just the one which most people want. However, everyone in the movie knew Trueman in detail. They watched him raised up.Outside the island ,people watched it just like a interesting movie focus on one's privacy. On the island, people acted all the roles in society, they did the same thing with sham day after day ,for instance, that twins seems like good oldies, said so much to pleasure Trueman, but they didn't really want to help him, that is,didn't want to buy any insurance. So,they were politely ,say hello to him "Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!" His mother, wife ,even the best friend pretended to encourage and understand him.what's a pity!Where are your spirit and soul? How can a person live without freedom and ideality?Trueman found that his father still alive ,and he still love the first girl deeply in his heart. Finally,he wanted to go Fiji and left this "lucky homeland".He went to several agencies of transporting, while the ships were gone or destroyed, the airport had no ticket. Then he drove his own car,but the road was round and round. When he found one way to escape, amazing that, the police knew him and brought him home.He realize he must do it all by himself. The faith of love and freedom gave him the brave heart to defeat the stormy sea.At the end,Christopher try to persuade him back to the island,Trueman made his choice,"In case I don't see you, good afternoon goodevening and goodnight"There may be more dangerous ,sham and cheat out of the island ,but all of this come from nature and society not from the people stared him all the day.We learn from Trueman that we should have a brave heart to pursuit the thing which in our inner heart instead of setting for the surface of our life!电影楚门的世界观后感英语篇3When I first saw 'The Truman Show' I came out of the theatre amazed. This is your first clue that you are watching something different from your normal Jim Carrey movie. I love the dialogue, camera shot, performances, direction, music, and running time of this movie. There is nothing I would do to change it. I came away from 'The Truman Show' feeling inspired which is the goal of good filmmaking Jim Carrey was outstanding as Truman, underplaying him, not making him too comic or too dramatic, but giving true sincerity when asked. He deserved an Oscar nomination. Ed Harris has always been a good actor, but in this movie he's a great actor. He plays Christof with such arrogance and bullheadedness that you don't know whether he's helping or destroying Truman. He and the director, Peter Weir, deserved their Oscar nods.Weir, who directed the great 'Witness',uses different camera angles to make you feel like you're actually watching 'The Truman Show' and not a movie. He ends it before you get tiredof the concept and helped Carrey and Harris give immaculate performances. Andrew Niccol script is a real star in the movie too because of it's inventiveness and ingenuity. Overall,'The Truman Show' is what I like to call a true American classic.电影楚门的世界观后感英语篇4The Truman Show was be on 1998, and the director is Peter Weir. It is a very classic film.In this film, Truman’s life was made into a reality TV show. Even his parents, wife and friends were actors. Finally, he realized it and succeeded in leaving the style of life. For one thing, the story is not only different but also very novel. It seems strange and misty at the beginning, which carries a foreshadowing of what is to follow later on in this story. Who is Truman and what is going to tell us? However when we know what happened to Truman, we are shocked by that creative spot. Then we are wandering what his pursuit for. The director seizes we audiences’ curiosity perfectly. For another, its language is very humorous. For example, ”Go od morning! And in case I don’t see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night! ” .This movie impresses me deeply and I think it is very meaningful. On the one hand, though Truman lived in a peaceful world, he refused to accept that style of life, which was not managed by himself. He, including us, can not bear being tricked and controlled. I wander if everyone has the same courage to expose the life filled with lie? On the other hand, the media plays a important role in our daily life. But can you imagine that you are a leading actor in a reality TV show one day? Nobody wants to be a victim of media. This movie is a good sarcasm of modern media. It tells us not to rely on media everywhere and anytime, and sometimes we should have our own judgments. In a word, it is more wonderful for us to direct our own life .It may be not peaceful enough, but it has the freedom our pursuit for.电影楚门的世界观后感英语篇5Unusually intelligent Jim Carrey movie - a provocative and prescient media satire. Puts Big Brother and the current spate of docu-soaps firmly into perspective Truman Burbank (Carrey) is a happily married insurance salesman living a normal life in a small American town so perfect that he has never felt the need or desire to leave it. He has a loving wife (Linney), and a loyal best buddy (Emmerich)。

On Infiltration of Escapism----A Brief Comment on The Truman ShowAbstract:The Truman Show1deserves spectacular appreciation for its unique approach—intercutting shots between program of Truman and "real life" footage of the director and spectators. The specialty of presentation sufficiently lays out Escapism in Post-Modernism layer by layer. Followed a brief introduction about the intercutting approach in this movies and Escapism, this paper concentrates on the cause, manifestation and influence of Escapism from the shifting angles of view: Truman, director and spectators. Then it draws a summarization that Escapism has overall infiltrated into human’s life.Key words: The Truman Show, Escapism, shifting angles of view, intercutting,Post-ModernismThe Truman Show, as a typical milestone of the movie industry, puts other traditional genres in the shadow by intercutting the real-time documentary between program of Truman and "real life" of the spectators and director. Firstly, the movie chiefly centralizes on the Truman Burban k’s angle of view. The protagonist, whose entire life is broadcasted in a hugely popular 24-hour-a-day TV series, is gradually aware that his existence is captured by concealed cameras and tries his best to get away from the authoritative domination. Secondly, the movie alternately intercuts the shot to the angle of view of spectators, who are keeping a watchful eye on Truman’s every particular gesture and behavior for escaping from the perceived unpleasant aspects of daily life. Thirdly, the movie shifts the scene to director’s angle of view. It reveals that his motivation of creating the cheerful community of Seahaven(a materialization of “paradise”) is to run away from the hypocrisy and complexity of the world outside2. In short, whatever angle of view the movie sets out, it gives embodiment of Escapism all the time and all the way.As for Escapism3, it is a mental diversion or tendency to seek distraction and relief from banal reality in the era of Post-Modernism4. Although different reference books provide different illustrations5, several characteristics are endorsed. For one thing,Escapism is regarded as an inherent expression of Post-Modernism, for urbanization, industrialization and technological existences have removed people from their biologically normal natures and the rigors of daily life. For another thing, it is unilateral to assert that escapism carries an extreme and negative connotation, suggesting escapists are depraved or sorrowful. In fact, escapism also indicates optimistic significance for positive escapists with an inability or unwillingness to connect with the world meaningfully.Related with this movie, three kinds of Escapism, namely, Truman’s positive Escapism, director’s extreme Escapism and spectators’ neg ative Escapism have been infiltrating into human’s life. The cause, manifestation and influence of will be analyzed in detail. From Truman’s angle of view, Escapism is endowed with the property of positiveness and has done a great favor to obtain freedom. First of all, his Escapism originates from his consciousness of being controlled and the conspiracies of life. As we know, he has grown up and lived in a fake town getting along with actors. The town is enclosed in a giant dome with high-tech simulations of sun and sky, in which the rain and wind are productions of the special effects. In the beginning, he knows nothing that the rest of humanity watches him in a 24-hour-a-day reality programming. Fortunately, he gradually figures out that his surroundings are full of staged scenes and events. Hence, His intention to escape is put into practice as an adequate dynamic and driving force to convert the bound situation and obtain the precious freedom. Above all, his positive Escapism provides the ample motivation to flee the fake and hold the authentic life in his arms. It is his positive Escapism that makes him come up against both his own fears of water and the obstacles put in his way by the producer-director who has made billions of traps in a stage set and playing a God role in his life. From director’s angle of view,Christof’s extreme Escapism has buried his humanity and conscience, which seed in his collapse in essence. In the beginning, his Escapism stems from his despair towards degenerate modern society. today's affluent societies are in danger of becoming rotten and hypocritical environments under theimpact of urbanization, industrialization and technological existences etc. In the movie, Christof shows his hopelessness towards reality several times. Therefore, his Escapism is put into effect as a passageway to reject and isolate from the reality, As we can say, he chooses an extreme way to create the lifelike simulations and story lines from the high-tech facsimile of a sun that benevolently beams down on Truman to the mock sincerity of the actors who Truman mistakenly believes is his family and friend. All that he has done embodies his abnormal and freak Escapism from reality. In sum up,Christof’s extreme Escapism leads to his deformity of personality and final breakdown. From spectators’ angle of view,it is the negative Escapism that gives rise to their crazed behavior of being addictive in peeping Truman’s life immorally. Firstly, spectators’negative Escapism derivates from their desires of getting out of the unpleasant sufferings pessimistically. As we can observe, although the fans may live very normal lives—having children, relationships and regular jobs, they spend their regular time escaping into an idealized world and lose their own mind in the made-up show. As Truman’s fate rises and falls, the spectators’emotion fluctuates fiercely. They are devoted enough to throw themselves into the series and treat themselves as actors. Consequently, spectators who get excessively involved as fans of Truman show are pursuing an unhealthy level of escapism. The negative Escapism masquerades as a better anesthesia than exploring the hard truths of this world. As a result, negative Escapism leads to symptoms of mental illness such as dependence on media and peeping. In brief, after analyzing the brilliantly-conceived satire, we can easily draw the conclusion that the intercutting shots between program of Truman and "real life" of the director and spectators fully demonstrates Escapism has overall infiltrated into human’s life. Truman certifies positive Escapism can play a effective role in fulfilling dream. D irector’s Escapism makes him run away from the absurdity extremely. proper S pectators’ Escapism leads them to turn down to engage in the true world negatively.Notes:1. The Truman Show is a 1998 American comedy-drama film directed by Peter Weir and written by Andrew Niccol. The film chronicles the life and evading of Truman Burbank, who discovers he is constrained in a reality-feigned soap opera, televis ing to billions by live transmission.2. As evidence, here are two quotations of Christof’s lines. The one say, “I have given Truman a chance to live a normal life. The world. the place you live in is the sick place. Seahaven is the way the world should be.” The other says, “There's no more truth out there than there is in the world I created for you. Same lies. The same deceit. 电影《楚门的世界》英文版观后感Follow Your Heart 5000字
Follow Your Heart------Review of The Truman ShowHonestly, I have seen few movies, no matter Chinese movies or foreign movies. Therefore, I treated movies only as entertainment before. I never thought that a movie can have profound meaning and can provoke my thoughts on my life and the world. It is always true that people hold various reviews from different perspectives. My focus on this movie is freedom. It seems that Truman is familiar with the world he lives. However, he gradually ascertains that his life is exposed on television because a kind-hearted girl Sylvia reminds him to notice his life. Ultimately, Truman overcomes the obstacles both from the “outside”and inside. The “outside”is completely controlled by Christof, the creator of The Truman Show. What he does is to encumber Truman’s leaving in order to maintain his audience. As for Truman himself, he is terrified of the water and dogs. There’s no doubt that these factors impede his escape. Truman’s action proves a saying----“It’s by no means easy to get freedom.”Imagining a world that everything is arranged for me, what should I do? Like Truman, escape from it to pursue my own happiness, or just live the “normal”life-----in such life I’m unable to discern whether my love loves me whole-heartedly, and my friend is loyal to me or not. That’s the reason why freedom is extremely invaluable. Freedom bestows a variety of choices on me so that I can create my ideal life on my own instead of controlling by others. When it comes to freedom, it isconnected with delight and satisfaction. The reason is quite simple: as an adult, I can make decision about selection, no matter it is marvelous or disappointing. It’s my own choice. Furthermore, freedom means little or no burden. It provides me with a chance to put what I intend to do into practice without fear of failure. Like the rainbow on the sky after several days’heavy rain, freedom is the precious treasure one finally get through struggle. For Truman, maybe the “new”world waiting for him is not so perfect, however, he, as human being, belongs to it instead of television.Similarly, together with the movie The Shawshank Redemption, they exert inspiring impact on me. At the beginning, I think that they are accustomed to their situation. But, both of them choose a new life full of unbeknown changes. They are brave enough to challenge their limitations. Their perseverance also plays a significant role on their way to pursue freedom. Only this real world, blending angel with devil, can offer them reality and security.Truman’s experience attests that people must pay for their pursuit of freedom. Sometimes, obtaining freedom means that people have to give up their routine life which is hard for them to get rid of. Sometimes, gaining freedom means people have to experience tough test. If they have the capability to pass through it, they win and gain freedom. But if they fail to pass, maybe freedom will be a distant dream they can hardly achieve.Mental freedom is easier than physical freedom in my sight. In light of Truman’s saying----“You never had a camera in my head.”No one can pour his or her thoughts into my mind which I’m not interested in. I own the freedom to imagine freely, however, others have no rights to interfere. But, just imagine. That is what I consider as mentally free. Physical freedom is always a symbol of endeavoring and honing. Truman experiences heavy storm that ordinary people can’t bear, cheat and privacy exposal. At last, he reaches the path leading to freedom, hence, I understand the truth----Don’t count on imagination only, sometimes it turns out to be mirage. What I need to do is to spare no effort to turn my dreaminto reality. It is Truman himself who impedes his way to acquire freedom. Meanwhile, it’s also himself who paves the way for freedom. There’s no denying that his choice depends on his resolution and courage. It reminds me that I myself is the final one to make decision and be responsible for my future.Christof says, “He (Truman) can leave at any time if he has more than just a vague ambition, if he was absolutely determined to discover the truth.”His words apply to freedom pursuit, not for Truman only, but also for all “true men”.People won’t cherish what they get smoothly, it’s so normal that people forget it quickly. The beauty of freedom indwells not in the consequence, but in the process, especially the process of struggling, endeavoring and conceiving. People always bear in mind their spectacular and unusual experience and they perceive it as their permanent possession. Youth and life should not be conservative, and people should not waste time on boggling. If people have no idea what to do for their future, just calm down and follow the voice of their heart. Hear is the source of power, inspiration, courage and so forth. Heart never lies to people. So, hearing the voice of heart, plus endeavor, one day people have the ability to obtain freedom so that their dreams willcome true.。
《楚门的世界》观后感 英文版
Reflections on The Truman ShowTruman's sense of World OutlookThe World of Truman: a profound reflection on reality and falsehoodThe World of Truman is a 1998 film directed by Peter will and starring Kim Carey. The film has won the love of the audience because of its unique narrative techniques and thought-provoking theme. The film focuses on a man named Truman, who finds that the world he lives in is actually a huge studio. Everyone around him is an actor, and he himself is the protagonist of a popular soap opera. When he realized this, he chose to escape from the false world bravely and pursue real life. After watching the film, I was deeply moved by Truman's bravery and determination. Living in a completely manipulated and false environment, Truman not only has to face the pressure and bondage of the outside world, but also deal with his own inner struggle and confusion. However, it was such a dilemma that inspired his desire and pursuit of real life. Truman finally chose to escape from the virtual world and bravely face the unknown reality. His move not only demonstrated his courage and determination, but also provided us with an opportunity to reflect. In real life, we often face similar difficulties. Sometimes we may feel that our lives are manipulated by some kind of force, or that we are blinded by some false phenomenon. In this case, we need to face the reality bravely and seek a real life. As Truman has done, we should bravely challenge ourselves, break the shackles, and pursue freedom. In addition, "the world of Truman" also made me have a profound thinking on the significance and value of life. Living in a virtual world, everything about Truman is false, including his relatives and friends. However, when he walked out of the virtual world, he found the real human nature and emotion. This makes me realize that the meaning and value of life lies not in the material wealth and status we have, but in our true feelings and connections with others. It is only in real life that we can experience real emotions and values. In short, the World of Truman is a thought-provoking film. It reminds us to cherish real life and face difficulties and challenges bravely. At the same time, it also makes us realize that the meaning and value of life does not lie in the material pursuit, but in the real emotion and connection. I believe that this film will inspire more people to pursue real life and face the unknown future bravely.。
楚门的世界(The Trumen Show ) 英文版观后感
The movie is about Truman had been placed in the studio, his growth environment is completely arranged, his every act and every move was being watched. Truman later found out about this, therefore he chose to leave the studio. At the beginning of this movie was so asleep, but the later plots I was moved by this movie. After watching this film, I found it is similar with my life.Since I was child until high school, and I almost liked Truman. The show's director of Truman Show just like God, created a miniature world for Truman. I look back my previous twenty years, almost all arranged by my parents, what clothes I should buy, which school I should attend, what type friends I should make, I think may be in the future I will marry with a man whose I doesn't like. I found I like Truman's life, has been living in the control of others. And ultimately like Truman, I walked out of the parental control. I againsted my parents will, choosing a university far from my hometown. But my life is reality, it has become a possible world that may Truman left that theworld. Long time under the arrangement of my parents, I have lost the independent thinking and judgment ability, so the reality gave me a painful lesson. I noticed that the words in that film director has said: "listen to me, Truman. There's no more truth out there than there is i n the world I created for you. Same lies. The same deceit. But in my world, you have nothing to fear. " At that moment, I seem saw the life I should have. There is no denying that I felt a little regret. May be parent's arrangement is right that I was not supposed to against them. I wanted to go back to the road which should be plain sailing. But at the same time, I am also soberly aware of-- this is life. I walk out of the perfect world, and it is high time to work up the nerve to struggle. I feel suffering and also feel lucky, learned to tumble also learned to climb up. I think that's what the movie wants to say: get out of shackles, brave pursuit. In the movie, this lens appears at least three time: director Christof across the screen touch Truman? The presence of so many times, and its meaning is about the father's love for son. I'm opposed to this opinion, how preposterous that the father put his son's life in public's eyes. "Touch" is more like a kind of appreciation that director to his "masterpiece". The movie, metaphorically, that our society is not too different from the one depicted in it- that we are both the victim and the villain of this perversive and pervasive situation. The director Christof is a villain in this movie, but I more appreciate this sentence: "If he(Truman) more than a vague ambition, if he was determined, to discover the truth, there's no way we could prevent him." That is we should struggle for our life, and fortunately, Truman escaped his control and lived for himself. In the movie, the audience willingly exploits Truman's life for the sake of entertainment and excitement. It's a illness social, they put Truman's life into screen, and deprivation his freedom, privacy, and dignity, but none of guilty. I remember clearly, after Truman escapes the virtual world, the guards said "what else is on?Let's see what else is on..." In their opinions, Truman's life is only a show for their entertainment, in that respect, whether your life legendary or ordinary, needn't to attention others eyes.As the audiences of Truman show, they are Peeping Tom in a way, and it the same as us which in front of the movie screen. In daily life, we often not only just focusing on the surface of things, but also paying more attention to the parties private action, so we have what difference with the audiences in the movies? We are not only concerned about the star's performance in show, but also follow the trend of amplification comment on their appearance in private online. To think about it, although we live in contemporary society, we just like the audiences in the movies, all our happy or angry, sad or joyous are controlled by the director.I dare to say that The Truman Show is the most wonderful film I've been watched. So that every time I watch the blue sky, I would suspect whether it true or not. Reading Hemingway's novel The Old Man and The Sea, I always feel sad that whenever I read the old man takes difficult hardship, last only get a fish skeleton. If I write this novel, I must want to let the old man win glory. Later I found that this was the reason why I couldn't become Hemingway. If the old man really brought the ship of harvest, let everyone sit up and take notice, then this story is only the ordinary comedy story, it can't become a classic, also lost the original shock of spiritual power. Individual is small in front of fate, is fragile. The old man can't avoid aging and death, Truman can't avoid Christof's man-made storm waves, humans also can't hide the fate. However, the big fish is almost only skeleton, the old man still fights with the shark, and Truman almost overturned drowned by the sea, he still refused to return. This is not to break the shackles of fate, but knowing you can't break the shackles of fate, still taking up arms. This is the nobility of the human spirit.Life there are all kinds of frustration and coincidence, there are always behind the stage. I appreciate Truman's optimistic and elegant. " Good morning, and in case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night."。

楚门的世界英文影评集团文件版本号:(M928-T898-M248-WU2669-I2896-DQ586-M1988)Movie Review of the Truman ShowBorn as a TV star, Truman is living in a small island called Seahaven for the first half of his life. But he doesn’t know that everyone and everything happened around him is fake. Nor dose he know that the place he lives for so many years is actually a huge studio. With the plot spreading, Truman gradually realizes that there is something wrong with his life; It seems that everybody and everything is focused on him. Leading by his dream, he managed to get out; leaving the world that was created for him and went to that unknown outside, dark and dangerous.Freedom is an eternal topic in western movies and is also very important for all of us. How can a people live without freedom and privacy I see that Truman lives in such an amazing environment that everybody in the world can see him and thereis no privacy for him at all. But after he finds that he is living in a fictitious world, he makes up his mind to leave the studio to live a life that belongs to him. To get the girl he loves and his freedom back, he overcomes his psychological barrier and fights with the storms and lightening made by the chief conductor of the movie---the Truman Show. Finally, Truman makes it and get out of the fictitious world although he knowsthat there maybe many unknown obstacles waiting for him. Thisis the power of freedom and love.Another thing I’d like to mention is that when reporters ask why Truman has never come close to discovering the true nature of his world until now, and then the answer is that we accept the reality of the world with which we are presented. I was shocked when I heard this. In our daily life, we get used to what is happening around us so we never ask why this just happens. Although we live our lives everyday, life itself is the thing easiest forgotten by us. If we pay more attention to our life, we may find that there are so many things for us to do to enhance our life. We are usually getting numb with time going by. So be curious about the things happened in our life and you may find that life is interesting and happy.Cherishing your life and enjoying your life, you can make a big difference.。
楚门英文影评作文
楚门英文影评作文英文:The Truman Show is a thought-provoking film that explores the concept of reality and the power of media. The movie follows the life of Truman Burbank, a man who has unknowingly been living in a television show his entire life. As Truman begins to question his reality, he embarks on a journey to discover the truth about his life and the world around him.One of the most interesting themes in the movie is the idea of control. Truman's life is completely controlled by the show's creator, Christof. He controls everything from the weather to the people in Truman's life. This raises the question of how much control we have over our own lives and how much is predetermined by external forces.Another theme is the power of media. The show's audience is obsessed with Truman's life and watches hisevery move. This reflects our own society's obsession with reality TV and the constant need for entertainment. The film also shows how media can manipulate and shape our perceptions of reality.Overall, The Truman Show is a thought-provoking and entertaining film that raises important questions about reality, control, and the power of media.中文:《楚门的世界》是一部发人深省的电影,探讨了现实和媒体的力量。
楚门的世界英语影评
楚门的世界英语影评篇一:楚门的世界英语影评“In case I don’t see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night!”The Truman Show describes a story in which the persons and events portrayed are fictitious. Born in a photo studio, Truman, as a protagonist in the film, is spied on all the time by thousands of needle camera tubes. Everyone in his life, including his parents, wife and friends, is a performer. Even the events happened are arranged by design. But true will come to light soon or later. After finding this hoax, he succeeded in obtaining the freedom, despite setbacks. Two words constantly swirled in my mind after appreciating, privacy and morality. Privacy, the fundamental right, however, disappears entirely. The director, as well as other performers, deprives Truman’s right of freedom. In the meantime, the phenomenon of the moral decline is also satirized in the film which is now a big problem in the society. Luckily, even in such backgrounds, Truman, without despair and surrender, is still full of hope. The world may be full of cheating, however, we never lackfriends with a warm heart. And not only does Truman believe it, I do as well.篇二:楚门的世界英文观后感I feel deeply after I watch Truman show. It makes me think about our life and media Truman is a leading role in his own world unconsciously. He lives in that peaceful world out of willingness. Do the creature that others pay attention to. His own life is control by director. Life to him is real but fake.Truman’s life is completely open to the mass. People knew everything he does, such as how he was born, went to school, got a job,got married and so on. They are witness of Truman’s life .Everyone live together with him are all performers. Everything they do is in the director’s arrangement. His wife, who is claimed herself a doctor, is not a doctor at all. His father, who was died in a storm, is still alive. All performers are supposed to be cheat. Truman’s life is absolutely a vast lie. But when you know your life is rally a lie, do you have to courage to expose it? Will you choose to give up your peaceful life under control rather than to be the leading role of your show? Not everyone has the courage to go out. May be you will say: “It is easy to go out.” But we can’t understand, predict and control the outside world, can you?Sometimes I wonder if I also live in that fake world. Am I the real leading role of my Truman Show? I don’t know. If I live in this situation, I will be angry and want to escape from this huge prison. I will feel disrespect and boring because in my mind no one has the right to arrange my life. No one can control it including me. My life is supposed to be an adventure. Nobody knows what is going to happen. If it is like a soap opera as Trumann’s, it will be meaningless. Nobody wants to be a victim of media. But I have to admit, media is powerful, we can’t live without it and we have to suffer from it, especially stars.Nowadays media is full of our daily life. We surf the internet to look up news whenever we want. We like to watch movies, news, soap operas, talk shows or other television programs in our leisure time. Surfing the internet to know anything we want to know. We always talk with our classmates about everything happened around us, such as new movies on show, new songs, the scandal about starts and so on. Public figures seems don’t have the right to keep privacy. They are beneficiaries of media, but also victims. What can we do to avoid us suffer from media, or to avoid being violated and misleading? I think we should not rely on media everywhere and anytime. Sometimes we should have our ownjudgments rather than follow those so called experts. We had better more focus on our daily life not the famous person’s. We had better not spending to much time on watching TV and try to do something meaningful by watching TV. We should make full use of media rather than rely on it.篇三:英文影评My thought about TrumanAll the people can know about Truman, such as his life. For 10,909 days, it has been on the air, using more than 5000 cameras to show every moment in every day of the life of him. But unfortunately, it is he that didn’t know. Around the world, everyday there were millions of people watching his life which had already been set. I thought it may be terribly sorrowful of him to accept such a truth. Thus he got mad, and nothing can hold back his heart for freedom. We know his name is Truman, which stands for truth. But his life is full of one told him that until he finally got director said, the life in the island is the truth. Truman used his action to prove it a lie, a total lie. Freedom is the thing that exceeds everything in the world, nothing can be in place of it. Of course, if he chose to live in the island, he can be original pop star, he can get many things comfortably. Yet asa bird, we choose to fly in the sky. As a man, we also need to our own sky. The movie might tell us this moral. Although Truman was born to be a man losing freedom, he was still a man. His option is himself, not making fun of others. The ending of movie, audiences were touched by his perseverance, and then switch the TV channel. It’s so ironical about their behaviors. However, the society is just this look. So what we should do is to pursue our own bliss. If Truman gave up himself, the god will also abandon him. We are what we do, and we need our freedom and perseverance.。

I also know the plot for Sylvia’s appearance. The Truman was chosen to become the leading role for this unique TV programme. The people all over the world watch him and his life is exposed to everyone. Everything around him is not true, including his wife, his children and his neighborhood. Everything is arranged by the director of this show called Christof.Christof, he is clever. He arranges some disasters to prevent him out. He also arranges Truman’s father drown in the sea to make him afraid of sailing. It made me think about a serial of things such as the culture differences between Han ethnic group and others, the life we may choose in the rest of our life, etc.The translation of the subtitles is interesting, which called the island Trumanlived “Taoyuan” in C hinese. Both of us know it symbolizes anidyllic life in china. But Truman was not TaoYuaMing (a renowned ancient Chinese poet). His heart was full of questions and passions to this world, which force him to go outside theSeaheaven to find his true love or even his real life. So from this we can figure out differences between us and westerners inideological system. They often pursue a creative life full of challenges and passions, while traditional Chinese like Mr. Tao were preferred to an idle life. Of course we can not say which one is better, but it provides us a better way to understand cultural differences. However, the most important thing I want to talk is about an unwritten life. There was a film called “the broom brothers”. In the film the old brother made a plan and manipulated the younger one to cheat others of their money. Just like Truman, the young man refused to do that finally.Life is only once for everyone, so we must be responsible to ourselves.Christopher made Truman a life, a life was more like a heaven and had nothing to fear in there. But Truman didn’t satisfy and try to escape from it. Even when faced with huge storms, he didn’t give up. That is the significance of humanity! We are living for our dreams, for the real person we want to be, for an unexpected and most exited life. Acting for audiences can make us a star, but it is not the meaning of life. We must stand up and break the rule. After fighting, it was time to choose the path we bound to. This must be a tough decision, because we might not have a second chance to change. So we hesitated in front of paths and lost in contemplation. God showed up again with another look, which was kind and counterfeit. After a harsh fighting in our mind,we turned around, said goodbye to god and all the audience. Maybe the way we chose was muchtougher than others; maybe after several years, we were still nobody. But we wouldnever regret, we made a plan on ourselves, we chose an unwritten life. Just like the poem: The Road Not Taken, written by Robert Lee Frost:Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,And sorry I could not travel both.Oh, I kept the first for another day!Yet knowing how way leads on to way,I doubted if I should ever come back. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference. No one could know what would happen to Truman in his real life. Maybe hecould reunion with the girl he truly loved and attach to a happy life there after or lost in poverty. At least he tried and that is enough. As for us, modern college students, we may also live in a perfect planned life or face with choices. So I think the figure of Truman can be a lighthouse in life which guides us out of trouble and to a bright future. The word Truman said “I n caseI don't see ya', good afternoon, good evening and good night.” I think that should be a life gospel and everyone needs that.篇二:楚门的世界英语影评On Infiltration of Escapism----A Brief Comment on The Truman ShowAbstract: The Truman Show1 deserves spectacular appreciation for its unique approach—intercutting shots between program of Truman and "real life" footage of the director and spectators. Then it draws a summarization that Escapism has overall infiltrated into human’s life.Key words: The Truman Show, Escapism, shifting angles of view, intercutting, Post-ModernismThe Truman Show, as a typical milestone of the movie industry, puts other traditional gees in the shadow by intercutting the real-time documentary between program of Truman and "real life" of the spectators and director. Firstly, the movie chiefly centralizes on the Truman Burbank’s angle of view. The protagonist, whose entir e life is broadcasted in a hugely popular 24-hour-a-day TV series, is gradually aware that his existence is captured by concealed cameras and tries his best to get away from the authoritative domination. It reveal s that his motivation of creating the cheerful community of Seahaven(a materialization of “paradise”) is to run away from the hypocrisy and complexity of the world outside2. In short, whatever angle of view the movie sets out, it gives embodiment of Escapism all the time and all the way.。
楚门的世界观后感英语
楚门的世界观后感英语"The Truman Show" is a film that has left a profound mark on my mind It is a thoughtprovoking and emotionally charged story that makes one question the nature of reality and the power of perceptionThe main character, Truman Burbank, has lived his entire life within a fabricated world, unknowingly being the star of a 24/7 reality TV show His every move, every emotion, and every interaction has been meticulously planned and controlled by the show's director, Christof This concept is both fascinating and terrifying It makes us wonder how much of our own lives are truly our own and how much is influenced by external forces that we may not even be aware ofOne of the most striking aspects of the movie is the contrast between Truman's seemingly perfect life and the underlying truth of his captivity On the surface, he has a stable job, a loving wife, and a friendly neighborhood But as the story unfolds, we see the cracks in this facade and the artificiality of it all This raises questions about the pursuit of the socalled "perfect life" and whether it is truly fulfilling if it is based on lies and deception The performance of Jim Carrey as Truman is exceptional He manages to convey the confusion, fear, and determination of Truman with great authenticity We feel his pain as he begins to suspect that something is not right with his world and his courage as he decides to break free from the shackles that have held him captive for so longThe film also makes us think about the role of media and entertainment in our society Are we, as consumers, so hungry for entertainment that we are willing to sacrifice the privacy and dignity of others? And how far are we willing to go in creating and consuming artificial realities that may distort our understanding of the real world?Another important theme explored in "The Truman Show" is the power of human spirit and the longing for freedom Despite all the obstacles and manipulations, Truman refuses to accept the false reality imposed on him His determination to discover the truth and seek a genuine life is inspiring It reminds us that no matter how comfortable or convenient our current situation may seem, we should never give up the pursuit of truth and freedomThe ending of the movie is both heartwarming and empowering When Truman finally steps out of the door that leads to the unknown, it symbolizes his liberation from the controlled world he has known It gives us hope that even in the face of overwhelming odds, we have the ability to break free from the constraints that bind us and embrace the uncertainties of the real worldIn conclusion, "The Truman Show" is not just a movie, but a powerful commentary on the human condition and the nature of reality It challenges us to look beyond the surface of our own lives and question what is truly real and meaningful It is a film that will stay with me for a long time and make me think more deeply about the world we live in。

Movie Review of the Truman Show
Born as a TV star, Truman is living in a small island called Seahaven for the first half of his life. But he doesn’t know that everyone and everything happened around him is fake. Nor dose he know that the place he lives for so many years is actually a huge studio. With the plot spreading, Truman gradually realizes that there is something wrong with his life; It seems that everybody and everything is focused on him. Leading by his dream, he managed to get out; leaving the world that was created for him and went to that unknown outside, dark and dangerous. Freedom is an eternal topic in western movies and is also very important for all of us. How can a people live without freedom and privacy? I see that Truman lives in such an amazing environment that everybody in the world can see him and there is no privacy for him at all. Finally, Truman makes it and get out of the fictitious world although he knows that there maybe many unknown obstacles waiting for him. This is the power of freedom and love. Another thing I’d like to mention is that when reporters ask why Truman has never come close to discovering the true nature of his world
until now, and then the answer is that we accept the reality of the world with which we are presented. So be curious about the things happened in our life and you may find that life is interesting and happy.
Cherishing your life and enjoying your life, you can make a big difference.。
