Chlorinated polyethylene elastomer (CM) possesses saturated polyethylene chain, so it obtains good weatherability, resistance to ozone, chemical corrosion and aging and also good oil resistance, flame resistance and dyeing property. The weatherability, ozone resistance, heat resistance and ageing resistance abilities are better than many kinds of rubbers. Its oil resistance ability is better than NBR and CR, and ageing resistance ability is better than CSM.
