诚实的学生,并一直鞭策我前进。zwj;

Where does the honey come from? Bees live on food from flowers. When a bee rests on a flower, it tries to go to the center of it. There it takes in as much food as its body hold. Then it flies to take the food back to the hive. At the hive, bees change this flower food into honey. Then they fly away for more food. How do the bees know where to find the best food in the sweetest flowers? One bee acts as a guide. When it discovered good flowers, it flies back to the hive to tell the others. It does this by dancing for them. The bee dances on one side. This tells the other bees which way to go to find the flowers. But that is not all. The bee dances for some time. And the length of its dance tells the other bees how far they must fly to reach the flowers. When the bees see the dance, they know where the flowers are. Then fly away and return with more food for the hive. Without that dance we might never have sweet honey to eat.

The best way for parents to teach their children about responsibility is to let them take care for a pet. There are a lot of ways that parents can teach children important lessons about life. Some educators claim that raising a pet is the best way to cultivate/foster responsibility in children. From my perspective, despite several benefits, this method is by no means the best option. Admittedly, taking care of a pet may be a good way for children to learn about responsibility.

Since pets need to be fed morning and night, children would learn how to schedule time and become more attentive.Besides, pet’s cage needs cleaning regularly;in this way / under this circumstance children learn to be more considerate and share some housework with family. When a pet becomes sick, children also need to take it to clinic, which allows him to be more self- to say keeping a pet is the best way is an overstatement.

1. No Pains, No Gains The height which great men reach and keep is not attained by a sudden flight. Most of us feel envious of the famous and successful people. We do not understand why they are so popular and honored while we are mere simple common folks. In our misconception, we think that people are prosperous because they are especially gifted or that they are “just lucky”. All these have taken root in our stubborn minds, and we refuse to believe that most great men have a mind which is the same as, or perhaps even simpler and duller than ours. Yet, their triumphs are great. Why? Because they are apt to fight difficulties with perseverance and without fatigue, undergo sufferings without minding the wounds; they realize that hardships form the road which they must pass through before reaching their destination. Their endurance is more powerful than that of ours for the simple reason that they submit without complaint to each storm in life. 2. Don’t Give Up If we would ever accomplish anything in life, let us not forget that we must persevere. If we would learn our lessons in school, we must be diligent and not give up whenever we come across anything difficult. We will find many of our lessons very hard, but let us consider that the harder they are the better they will be for us if we will persevere and learn them thoroughly. But there are some among us who are ready to give up when they come to a hard example in mathematics, and say, “I can’t do this.” They never will if they feel so. “I can’t” never does anything worthwhile; but “I’ll try” accomplishes wonders. Let us remember that we will meet with difficulties all through life. They are in the pathway of everyone. If we will only try and keep trying, we will be sure to conquer and overcome every difficulty we meet. If we have a hard lesson today, let us strive to learn it well and

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life. Youth means a tempera-mental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spring back to dust. Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young. When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at

Agree or disagree: students do reading by their own is as important as or more important than the reading teachers assigned. Reading is a process of procuring knowledge and the ways of reading vary for students between reading on their own and reading as told by their teachers. As for me, it will be more beneficial to read books in line with students’wishes. For one thing, students should read what they are curious about and can find interests in, which can find wide application among college students in particular. In order to hone one’s talents and crafts with specific purpose, college students will find the more practical books to read to strengthen their competence for their future competing with other rivals in the job market. T ake Steve Jobs as an example. After attending the college just for a few months, he couldn’t figure out how the college life would help him in the future except for imposing his working family enormous financial pressure. Then, he decided to drop out so he could stop taking the required classes and reading the assigned reading materials that did not interest him and began dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.

Test1 People listen to music for different reasons and at different times. Why is music important to many people?Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice. Music has always been important to people.Scientists have found musical instruments at the camp sites of ancient humans. While the reasons why ancient humans made music may never be known, music today is still quite popular.People listen to music to help them relax, concentrate, and express their emotions. Music is excellent for helping people relax. This is because music helps transport people to a different place. For instance, whenever I have too much stress,I always listen to my favourite song. No matter where I am,the moment I hear that song,I think about the time I was at the concert and heard it live. For that moment, all my stress is gone, and I am back at the auditorium, away from my trouble. Music is great for helping people concentrate.By removing distractions, music enables people to get focused. To illustrate this, think about students who like to listen to their MP3players while studying. Many people, especially parents, think the students are just playing around. However, listening to music gets rid of all other noises so the students can focus on their work. Music is beneficial for people who want to express their emotions.Too often, people don’t know how to express what they feel inside. To be more specific, young people often experience new feelings that they cannot put into words.Listening to a love song or a sad song helps them express their emotions, since it can be hard for them to express those feelings to others. In conclusion, for relaxation, concentration, and emotional health, music has a number of benefits. While some people often see music as just being junk, they don’t realize the many benefits that it has. As a result,it is important that people have the chance to listen to music so they can be happy. (311words,typing in12minutes) Test2 Some students like classes where teachers lecture(do all of the talking)in class.Other students prefer classes where the students do some of the talking.Which type of class do you prefer?Give specific reasons and details to support your choice. The traditional classroom is the one with teacher in the front doing all the talking and the students just listening. However, this method both fails to interest the students and prevents the teacher from seeing how much the students are learning. In contrast,by having the students speak more frequently, these problems are eliminated. Thus, this style improves classroom interest, enables better monitoring, and increase learning. First, when students are allowed to talk in class, the class becomes more interesting. This is because
